posted a message on [Curse of Naxxramas] Naxxramas Hunter card leaked - fake?

I think there is a good chance this is legit.

Dark Cultist was also released by a Chinese website and was confirmed within the week, of course these forums were flooded with people calling that fake too.

We have a bad habit of calling anything Chinese fake but this is usually foolish pride and ignorance speaking.

Whirlwind in place of a weapon smith might help with tokens while also having the benefit of enraging some of your minions.

posted a message on Secret removal. Should other classes have them?

I love the idea of a neutral legendary that destroys secrets...eventually. The Harrison Jones idea is my favorite so far. I don't believe that it will happen in Nax though, with nax's focus on deathrattles it just doesn't seem to fit. I feel like this ability should be a battlecry, a deathrattle just seems awkward and underpowered. At the moment I don't feel secrets are too strong but in the first full expansion, more secrets and a way to deal with them would be a welcome addition.

I don't like to correct grammar but since that  is what you're doing I can't help myself, you mean as AN English man. While I'm at it it's ROGUE! Rouge is a color, or a colour for our English mate.

posted a message on Feedback on this Rogue Deck

SI:7 Agent is widely considered the best 3 drop in the game and I can't argue. Direct damage is expensive in this game and he is great value and a great tempo play. Both tempo and miracle use two in their decks so I would start there, probably replacing at least 1 rocketeer until you get leeroy.

posted a message on What if you had to start over? Would you do it?

Personally, building up my collection and piecing together decks from what I have is the most fun part. I haven't put any money into the game mainly for this reason. If I had all the cards, what would I be excited about? Legendary? I could do that now if I felt like grinding for that long.

posted a message on Pit Lord is underpowered, I think it should be buffed

The new warlock naxx card  will make it viable.  warlock isn't my favorite class but as an altoholic ill Tinker with it and give it a shot. The only reason it's bad is the battlecry is too harmful, if you can get around that this card is a beast!

posted a message on Help whit mage deck

Ice blocks are great, I'm still building my collection so I can't test it extensively but they have won me games in arena. If you are falling just one turn short in your losses then having one will definitely help. they also can stay up for a long time which will only increase the value of your arcanists.

I would completely disregard that post. If you make those changes you might as well make a whole new deck, not sure if he's trolling after that.

Personally though, I'm not a big fan of vaporize and auctioneer always seemed too slow to me in my mage decks. If you are feeling the need to tweak things that is where I'd start.  He is right about one thing though, water elementals are awesome!  I won't make a mage deck without them.

Great posts above me.  I can't argue with you slayer, what you're saying is true. What I mean by small tweaks is just that though, and it can get you higher on the ladder. If you are stuck, there is probably a card or two that is underperforming and a small tweak here and there will improve your deck as a whole. Losing helps you see this much more than winning or chalking it up to luck.

Techs are what I was talking about previous to that. For example, facing a lot of Control Warriors?  Big Game Hunter might be your man. Druids? TBK might work wonders, and so on and so on.

The meta doesn't just refer to what's being played at the highest levels. You can find a lot of a certain class at a particular range of levels and that is where I think small tweaks can help. It can get you through a bunch of tough matchups and on to a range where your deck might fair a little better.

I don't know that there is 1 particular "end all be all" deck, but I think the key is to recognize the meta that you are currently facing and tech in solutions accordingly. Have a few deck slots that can change based on what you're seeing, i.e Taunts for too much aggro or an abomination, etc.

Nuba I don't always disagree with you but your replies come off as your word is law and it just isn't. There are many ways to play this game and your straight forward approach strikes me as very boring and unimaginative. This is constructed, not arena, every card is playable if you create a deck for it. I love seeing people come up with creative and intricate plays and to say a card is just unplayable is just short sighted.

posted a message on When is Gold better spent in the Arena vs Packs?

The break even point is 3-4 wins average, if you can consistently win that and occasionally more then it is worth it to play arena Because your rewards will be greater than the additional 50 gold. What can't be quantified is the experience you gain just by playing arena those first subpar games. My advice would be to learn more about arena by reading forums, watching streams, looking at tier guides and eventually you will be so good that it will be a no brainer. Tip:Curving out may be the single most important thing in arena.

You are in the right place, I've learned a lot just lurking around these forums and the community as a whole seems very skilled and willing to help. Good luck, see you in the arena!

posted a message on What card would you refer as your Guilty Pleasure?

Because no one has mentioned it I'll give her some love, Sylvannas Windrunner! She's a good card but nothing makes me happier than dropping her and immediately seeing the opponent mouse over her and take much longer to take his turn than normal. I can just see them going crazy on their end. Someone on this forum described her beautifully: "sylvannas makes people stupid".
