i think in this post this can be true:
- "Unstable Portal and Primordial Glyph have been added to Mage's Standard Rotation."

This would be so much better if it had windfury added.

People who think this card is good need to think long and hard about what kind of decks typically dominate the meta.

I'm sorry but this Stancifka is no better than the people I play with netdecks in Rank 5+. I'm really tired of this guy giving advice on his subpar decks and advertising his social media channels though Hearthpwn. I know he probably knows someone on this website (or does it himself) to get him on the front page so many times but at least try not to make it obvious. I'd rather play Baize's decks than this.
Edit: Just watched this vid, he's even more of a douchebag than I thought, sounds like one too.

HAHAHAHAH are you fucking kidding me? Stancifka is one of the best players in the game. overall just a fantastic card game player(did well in MTG too).
This "subpar" deck idea has been piloted to top 10 legend by multiple players(including a rank 1).
Don't blame this guy. What you hate is the deck. Hate on the deck all you want. how the fuck is stan a douchebag for playing a good deck?
I get a lot of people here want to see weird dank meme off meta decks which is totally cool. I play tier 1 decks and weird off meta decks like token hunter with necrotic geist or freeze priest. you don't have to hate on one or the other... there will always be strong proactive decks that can just roll over other decks. that's a inherent design of the game. you can just choose to not trade and go face unlike mtg for example where every minion has taunt effectively.

I'm going to laugh my ass off if Priest DK is "Whenever you are healed, deal that much damage to the opponent" and this thing becomes amazing.

Warlock epic card:
10 cost spell: Deal 5 damage to self. Discard 5 cards. Destroy 5 of your mana crystals. Summon a 5/5 Unlicensed Apothecary

hey! I had really similar ideas as you! The biggest difference in my deck is keeping the pure "water package" (Finja, warleaders and bluegills) and only adding the primalfin champion and vilefin inquisitor. Questions: what do you think of divine strength? I'm not running any, but do you think its an essential buff? Also, have you tried out spikeridged steed? Thank you and it's awesome seeing someone who's interested in this deck as well!

UPDATE 05/10/16
I have now play around 40 games with this deck and I have won maybe 6 games. The statement that says this deck is consistently inconsistent holds true. I find:
1. There are too many weak murlocs for this deck. When I do pull Anyfin I get a bunch of 1/1 murlocs instead of murloc warleaders.
2. This deck gets defeated extremely fast if you don't get exactly the right cards when you need them.
I played two quick games with this deck and it kicks ass. I was missing a couple of cards so I subbed some out but that didn't make a difference. The first one I won by turn 4. The second was control c'thun warrior so it lasted pretty much the entire deck but he never hit me once. He had to defend, defend defend because I kept filling up the board with murlocs so fast. While he was defending I was hitting face.
The anyfin can happen worked but there were so many murlocs that died I ended up with a bunch of mismatched murlocs with no warleader and no gill murloc. Still an easy win though. There were so many murlocs so quickly that I took out his taunts with ease.
I have not tried this on the ladder yet but I will after seeing how it handled in those games.

evolve sucks. this deck is good without that rubbish.

That's what I call a good nerf. Now instead of a 38/56 Amalgam we will have a 37/54 amalgam...
Amalgam should be at least tier 3.

The idea of this deck instead of the standard Shirvallah Combo is to use secrets as a "survival" mechanism, your opponent will spend a lot of time dealing with your secrets, at the same time you're drawing the combo pieces. Also you will draw 3-5 cards with Mysterious Challenger.
Other good point is that you have many 1 mana spells, so you can get 1 mana Mysterious Challenger or Emperor Thaurissan with Prismatic Lens.
What to mulligan for?
Always keep Crystology, Secretkeeper and Mysterious Challenger. Prismatic Lens is an option also.

It beats Token Druid.
Warrior and Shaman are good matchups.
Rogue, Zoo and Hunter need to rush you very agressively.
Murloc Shaman is a problem.
It wins against other Hadgar Mages too because it haves a lot more control and less shitty minions.
All other matchups are ok.
Enjoy before everyone start playing this list.
This is the list that I'm current testing, I'm a bit more satisfied with it:
- 1 Flamestrike
- 1 Astromancer
- 1 Blastwave (less token Druids now)
- 1 Power of Creation (I don't feel I need that much value)
- 2 Astral Rift
+ 2 Polymorph (it's good vs Lucentbark druid and mirror matches, also it's a needed answer to early Van Cleefs)
+ 2 Half-Time Scavenger (it's a card that I'm testing against aggro and combo decks, since mage is lacking healing, it's doing well I think)
+ 2 Arcane Intellect (After testing Astral Rift for some time I came to the conclusion that Arcane Intellect is just better overall)

We can debate and discuss card choices and anything you want. (Like I'm doing).
But I know, it's easier to bash someone instead of presenting an argument.
1
Sorry, I didn't see that one. I usually don't like/play otk decks.
It's better against bomb warriors and it's faster. In my experience it gives at least one good minion. But Arcane Intellect can be better for sure.
Kalecgos is really strong in this deck with all those control spells.
Other khadgar mages rely heavily on book for card draw (and it can back fire burning spells). They also don't have enough control to deal with zoo or token druid. It's only better when you draw a perfectly curve.
Other control instances don't have so much value or tempo to stand against other control decks such as shaman.
Blast Wave is game winning against token druid or zoo. It's a matter of how much of them you're facing. You can put polymorph or other control spell if that's the case. You win against warrior anyway, it's very hard for warrior or priest to beat this kind of deck value.
-------------
There's no deck that's unbeatable. I think this deck can win against anything, if you face a Rogue with a good start you will lose but if you don't take much damage on the early turns you will take the board and win easily.

I started playing it on rank 5 and I'm rank 3. I don't played many games yet.
No proof, I'm not having much time. If I get to legend and managed to climb to Top 100 at least I will post a screenshot here. I'm no newbie, I'm 9 times legend, most of the time with my own lists.
Even having only 4 spells on the deck was pretty common to discard at least one with book of specters. And you can't add more spells. This way the decks works a lot better.
I can be wrong, but I really believe that this deck or anything closer to it will be the dominating deck until next expac.

Floop.

It's 2 Annoy Otrons and a vanilla one drop in just 1 card, it's not tempo but it's value for sure.

Everyone knew that the card could be nerfed anytime, Blizz itselft warned about it.
