Isn't it more fun to come up with a synergy by yourself rather than having it spoon-fed to you? Moreover, this way to introduce them allows us to learn/appreciate each card rather than forgetting most of them until they're being used on us in battle and then building the same exact net-deck.
1-cost 1/1 would be too powerful, it would effectively be a better version of Unleash the Hounds (except in rare cases where opponent has a full board). I think you're also forgetting about the synergy with Stampede here. This card is designed to fill a niche, get you out of that situation where you have an empty hand and need more board presence. We all know this happens to hunters often, and Zombeast technically fills a similar niche later.
She's not as good as she sounds, I play her in my Secret Hunter deck and as I started advancing higher up on the ladder I started using her less. She's good if you already got a Spellstone in your hand and just need to play a couple useless secrets to upgrade it, but as your opponents get better you need to match secrets to the situation rather than playing them mindlessly. Moreover, trying to meet all 3 criteria for using a secret (Eaglehorn Bow equipped, Spellstones in hand, Huntress on the board) is tricky and often results in sub-optimal play. I would much rather sacrifice having her out than not meeting one of the other 2 conditions.
This looks very similar to the deck I play (https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1047434-face-erase-hunter), except I'm missing DK Rexxar and no dust to craft him (I really feel it hurt my end-game, if I can't finish them by turn 8, I usually start losing). However, I'm surprised to see you use Kindly Grandmothers. I replaced them with Scavenging Hyenas and never looked back, they really increased my win rate.
So I guess Odd Warrior will really be a thing now (warrior has so many 1-dmg AoE removals (Blood Razor, Whirlwind, Warpath, Bladestorm, etc.) which also trigger enrage and other synergies (Frothing Berserker, Battle Rage, Armorsmith, Drywhisker Armorer) that it's the only class to play this with no downside and probably even an upside).
I did get a bit greedy with giants at first, then traded a copy of each of the giants who are less likely to become playable for 0 mana for a few taunts to buy more time early on. Do you think this deck would survive until turn 6-8 to deploy the giants? Would you remove some?

Yep, and as soon as it does, he'll get refunded 1600 dust for it from Blizzard for free.

For Edwin to synergize with this, it needs to cost less mana. And I'm not wasting my Preparation on this, need it for Vanish.
