Even in the dream scenario where you've spent other resources buffing this a ton, a board full of big vanilla minions is not much of a win condition in constructed.
If a card like Dragoncaller Alanna can see play and this card is basically just that but with more snowball potential and easier summoning conditions, then I bet this card will see play as well.
The difference is, Alanna is a card that rewards you simply for playing spells you would anyway. This card (at least with the hand buffs we know of right now) requires setup in the form of at least one other card to buff him in your hand, which is a dead play until you actually play him. Their power level is not even really comparable unless warlock gets some SERIOUS hand buff support....and we know how well that worked out for pally.....
It is going to take the rotation of Knights of the Frozen Power Creep for anything to see play, yes. Welcome to HS balance....yup. Think of this next expansion as a teaser for when the meta is not (as) stale in April. See you then...yeah, this sucks.
Not really. It loses to most aggro decks more than it wins and other OTK decks / auto-win decks can win faster. Oh, and it gets screwed in wild by stuff like Dirty Rate and Gnomeferatu, so....it is alright.
Can't beat zoo warlock, faced like 6 in a row. Am taking a break from Hearthstone until I can figure a way to counter it or as the trolls say "git gud".
Taunt Warrior or Control/Duskbreaker Priest both destroy it. Unless they get an early Keleseth. Then, you are probably fucked.
I realy have to blow of steam guys. This expansion is the first time I pre-ordered. I was kind of lucky because I opened 6 legendarys in 80 packs but take a look at the bullshit rngeezuz gave me:
Dr. Morrigan (the shitty one of the warlock legendaries)
Myra Rotspring (the shitty one of the rogue legendaries)
Both Mage legendaries (Galaxy is fun but not competitive at all)
Both Hunter legendaries (same as the mage cards probably)
And my golden legendary as pre-order reward? Guess it? WHIZ f*cking BANE
This is not normal right?
I have seen exodia mages playing the spell to some success. Not sure it is optimal though. Also, 6 legendaries in 80 packs is way above average. :)
Me: *play controlock* Opponent: *plays miracle rogue* Me: *control the board, neutralize Auctioneers when played, etc.* Opponent: *saps my pulled Voidlord turn 5 and Gnomeferatu stupidly the next turn* Me: *later play voidlord again* Opponent: *cries like a retard and emote spams for their entire turn*
There is no cure for just being a bad player. They knew I had the voidlord and then acted like a little bitch when they wasted their sap. I wish there was a *punch the player in the head* emote.
Playing wild...what do I play just days after the expansion launch? EIGHT! YES! EIGHT fucking aggro / tempo / face / brainless-retard (all same shit) Rouges in a row. All different players. All playing the same shitty netdecks with no cards changed. Two days after an expansion launch. Two damn days.

Everyone enjoying the zoolock / aggro meta that this card helps? Yeah, me neither.

It can go in Mecha'thun Warrior if you are okay with losing...a lot. Does alright against aggro though.
