If anyone is interested in wild, check out Dane Hearthstone, a really cool dude that doesnt play big priest or some bs deck. Plays a lot of weird decks and it's really entertaining.

Bladehawk posted a message on Taiwan Disqualified From The Hearthstone Global Games For Stream SnipingPosted in: NewsYikes. Better put an hour delay on the stream next time, or ban Odd Warriors entirely. I'm glad the cheaters got exposed, but it makes you wonder how many other teams might have been doing the same thing.
There used to be a team tournament that occasionally streamed comms. Pretty sure it was a LAN event, so everyone was sitting next to each other, but I wonder if Blizzard would consider doing that next year (or at BlizzCon). Not only does it provide insight into what the players are thinking, it'd also make catching anyone dumb enough to admit that they're stream sniping a lot easier.

MushroomTip2 posted a message on Hearthstone Patch 12.2 - New Dailies, Hallow's End, Welcome Bundle, New Keyword, Bug FixesPosted in: NewsNew rank 50 player facing dude with almost a meta constructed zoo deck (soul infusion and life drinker were played too I believe).
Is this a matchmaking goof or did this guy drop some ducks?
Notice his ranking isn't showing, so thinking blizzard done dropped the bar of soap in the prison shower. -

Blizzard logic: print overpowered cards that people are forced to use and "people really love playing these cards!! We did a good job!!"
Clearly jade druid was played like every other game for 2 months because it was everyone's FAVORITE deck....

lMarcusl posted a message on Developer Insights: Days of the Frozen Throne with the Live Content TeamPosted in: NewsTyping this up took longer than designing the brawl I bet. Literally, start as DK, get random cards in your deck, done. Easy work. Don't have to be a designer to come up with that. Now, if they'd gone through the trouble of actually designing the decks so that they're fitting for the given DK, we'd have something to talk about. But as much as I appreciate the easy gold, I sure as shit don't appreciate that it didn't even occur to them that DKs like Garrosh, Uther and Thrall get the majority of their value out of synergistic effects or their battlecry. I'd already gotten my quests done by the time they apparently gave Uther and Garrosh their weapons. Seriously? They literally just tossed the DK portrait and hero power on the board and that was the extent of their "design" effort. And now they have the audacity to write up their design process like it was hard work? Like the community response was so positive they want to share how such a success came to be? Give me a break.
There was no fucking design process. They didn't even do the very basics of designing this brawl. Jaina DKs with Snowflipper Penguins in their decks. Garrosh with a bunch of 1 health minions in theirs, fighting against Deathstalker Rexxar's hero power or (god forbid) Jaina herself. Thrall without his battlecry trying to face down turn 2 Water Elementals or Gul'dan's 3 dmg hero powers. And god forbid you get an evolve with the wrong health total. One Garrosh with a pile of complete garbage in their deck, the other with 3x Rotface. Did they even try? The fact they had to add Garrosh and Uther weapons retroactively just shows how little thought they put into this. So please, Team 5, go try bullshit someone else. We can handle 18 deck slots and we sure can see through your pathetic marketing spiel. Get your shit in order, then talk.

"We believe mixing the Arena experience up more frequently is better than leaving a single rule-set in place forever."
I agree with this a lot.
GG to ADWCTA for this post, but I don't want this to cripple the development's bravery in shaking up arena.

If you're from EU, I don't think the patch is live there yet. Hearthpwn should really start to mention stuff like this.

If you haven't noticed they don't care THAT much about reveals. But frankly, I don't get what all the fuss is about. The release isn't happening faster either way. Theorycrafting is not helped almost at all until many of the cards are revealed... I really can't understand why people are going crazy about the timing and method of the reveal.

I KNEW IT. I hadn't gotten a legendary in such a long time.

It's useless to add tribes if there is not tribe interaction. So what you are asking for is new tribe interactions/mechanics.

There's also the unknown hero power.

Oh wait, I think it is just a small indie company. :)

My Innkeeper won't work either. It gets stuck in Checking for updates every time I start it.
To give more details, when I first started it a bit earlier, I left it in the background for a long time while I was doing something else, so I don't know if it was stuck like this then too. But after about 10-20 minutes when I looked at it it was requesting me to log in through Hearthpwn, it opened the hearthpwn website, and was asking me to use the code there.... something I hadn't seen before.
My impression is that they have just implemented a new logon process right now and something's gone wrong. Hope devs come here and inform us.

So funny how all these people were SO WRONG about living mana. Teaches them to "evaluate" cards in the future.

Un'goro didn't have anything, maybe you're talking about MSOG that had some QUESTS, not missions.
These should be exactly like adventures, but as they specified, just 3 missions. I guess by 3 missions they mean 3 bosses, not 3 wings, which is very short.. like 1 wing of an adventure. But indeed the rewards will be very low. I'd be surprised if you get around 10 packs from those missions, but it's probably just 1 pack for each missions which sucks ass. You're right, Adventures were better for F2p, but that's not the problem, it's the pack cost. Too damn expensive.
