riddle makers are given 24 hours from their last post for the riddle to be solved and them reply. This allows people in different time zones a chance to play as well. It also makes it where no one riddle lasts forever. if the riddle maker doesn't reply, then it's first come first serve for making the next riddle. We've had several riddles go on for a whole week due to no right answer, but generally we try to limit the time span to 24-48 hours. As long as people are actively replying and the riddlemaker is still telling us if we're right or wrong we let their riddle go until it's solved.
On that note i'll refresh the rules we've established:
1) Person who solved last riddle makes the next riddle unless they express no desire to do so or their last reply was over 24 hours ago.
2) Riddles have 24 hours from the last reply of the riddlemaker to be solved. As long as the riddlemaker is telling us if we're right or wrong. (if their replies are unrelated to the riddle or just spam...etc then we track from their last reply that was related to the riddle.)
3) All riddles should have an answer that is a card in hearthstone that we can link to using hearthpwn's linking system (meaning that the cards can not be user made up and can not be credit cards as hearthpwn does not allow us to link to them. However, they can be adventure or tutorial only cards such as: Deathcharger which is found in naxxramas but is unobtainable.)
4) Limit your guesses to one or two per post. You may guess multiple times in a row, but keep your posts from having more than 2 guesses in it. This rule promotes a friendlier play experience, allows others a chance to guess as well, and prevents people from just linking every hearthstone card in one post.
5) Riddlemakers reserve the right to add hints to their riddles though if a riddle is proving to stump most everyone it is recommended to throw a hint out.
6) Riddlemakers may choose not to acknowledge people who post with guesses that violates rule number 4. (meaning if you post 10 cards in one post the riddlemaker may choose to ignore your post.)
7) have fun and give others a chance to play as well. Meaning don't reply several times in a row.
8) This rule is more optional but it is a curtesy to quote the riddle when it makes it to another page so that everyone has a chance to read the riddle as well.
Current riddle: Made by VarolieWhen it comes to me, the one that plays in different games, they say, Isn't the only one with that problem.
The end of my road is in the east, I guess I don't mix well with water
Current guesses that are wrong:
Current Guesses that have not been confirmed nor denied by the riddlemaker- Al'Akir the Windlord Guessed by Grimm222
- Tinker's Sharpsword Oil guessed by Lukhipolito
- Shattered Sun Cleric Guessed by Grimm222
- Twilight Drake Guessed by lukhipolito
- Youthful Brewmaster Guessed by R4v3n5w00d
- Ancient Brewmaster Guested by R4v3n5w00d
- Boom Bot guessed by Drakolog
Finally i want to also note that Grimm222 has also asked for a hint, so Varolie if you're reading this and none of the above is correct could you please give a hint?

Don the ios and WINDOWS version of hearthstone sync with eachother? So if I use the same account on the computer that I used on my iPad will I have the same cards?
From what I know, they should sync, as long as you play the same server ofcourse.

Zablinx posted a message on I don't understand the rage over Hunters/Agro decks...Posted in: General Discussion
Point is when I say in essence "People go on about how skilled they are but can't even build their own decks" and someone somehow manages to turn that into "Face Hunters don't netdeck" then they're an idiot.I understand why people hate Face Hunter, they' don't like losing to what they feel is a cheap and easy deck where they had no answers to it. However what I'm not getting from anyone is how that is different to lets say Freeze Mage Vs. Control Warrior, or a game where somone manages to RNG board clear/taunts for everything which you play.
Yes people can win by just dropping cards and only hitting face, but to claim people are getting to Legend/high ranks without having any idea how to play and just randomly clicking cards is idiotic (yet seems to be the overarching theme to most complaints).
Losing to Face Hunter just doesn't carry the illusion that you had any chance to win, you lose fast compared to more control decks, however when they have drawn the right cards they already have the win in hand and just need to play it out at a slower pace.
Well, yea, two different ideas are being stated that aren't related.
Um.... Plenty of people have stated the difference, ranging from the thought and decision making going into each turn, to the minions and interaction you have with your opponent. If you really think no one has said that, then your not reading the posts or pretending not to. Also, for the record, its not like a deck like freeze mage isn't any less hated, people hate it just as much, but people also know that if they play very carefully they have a chance of winning, where as face hunter has so little margin of error that you have little chance.
It's funny, because that's exactly how Undertaker Hunter and the current Face hunter decks are, a deck that boiled down to who played their undertaker first or gets their charge minions out. A deck that got many people to legend. No one claimed people are randomly clicking cards or not knowing any idea how to play, that just what your twisting people's words into. Personally i don't believe people are getting to legend as much with hunter anymore, since every other class has superior deck compositions.
Losing to face hunter doesn't carry that illusion because, most of the time, you don't have a chance. Like I wrote in a previous post, highest mana cost minion is usually a 4 mana arcane golem, which means hunter always has mana for the rest of his spells like kill command. Even if you lose to control decks, you will have at least given your opponent a run for their money, because those game really are fun. Losing fast isn't fun, not for you or for the face hunter tbh. Quite frankly, it sounds like you just hate control decks.
I suggest you go back and read them people's posts, it's clear you've ignored alot of them. That's all i got to say.

Zablinx posted a message on I don't understand the rage over Hunters/Agro decks...Posted in: General DiscussionGoing to be honest, I almost didn't even read your post as walls of text prefaced by a line where you've read something, totally changed what it said and then used it never end out well. Maybe go and re-read the post and understand the point I'm making.
I don't understand what the point of this post is if you constantly reply to people to tell them they are wrong when they tell you why people hate Face hunter. Numerous posters have explained in depth why it is hated, yet you focus on the posts that don't have those explanations. At this point, your just trying to make yourself feel better, as your points have been addressed and your just not listening to what people are saying.

sick4paradise posted a message on I don't understand the rage over Hunters/Agro decks...Posted in: General DiscussionFace Hunter is an incredibly thoughtful deck that takes unbelievably high skill to play, and is almost impossible to optimally play against. Successfully anticipating what moves a Hunter may make is a highly-involved process, and I often find that the subtle nuances of the Hunter game plan are so complex that I can't examine every scenario in time to make an optimal move. I can't explain why, but it seems to be the only class against which I consistently use the entirety of my turn time, often not ending my turn until the burning rope is blazing at the button's side.
And even stranger, it seems to happen every single turn.

macbx_jfc posted a message on I don't understand the rage over Hunters/Agro decks...Posted in: General DiscussionI find all your points being hilarious.
The majority of players net-deck to start with...You're talking like aggro players don't net-deck. This is by far the most hilarious point because face Hunter list is the most static list out there. When people net-deck control decks, they at least switch couple tech cards or late game legendaries to make the deck suit their play style. Aggro decks usually stay on the list because there's very few things can be changed. Aggro player accusing control player net-decking is like a murder accusing a thief being a criminal.
Yes there will be games where you curve perfectly and destroy someone on turn 5, but that can happen in almost any deck if RNG is in your favour.Yes, both Bill Gate and I have chances of making a million dollars. The only difference is that chance of Bill Gate making another million dollars is astronomically higher than my chance. So yes, when draw correctly, some control deck can finish the opponent early but the chance of that happening is much lower than face Hunter killing opponent by turn 5. It's a matter of probability. Just throwing out some numbers out there for you. My average Hunter games take 7 minutes 44 seconds. Note that this is both midrange, Feign Death and face combined and I expect average face Hunter game to last about 6 minutes. On the other hand, none of my other class's average game is less than 11 minutes. My longest control Priest game averages about 19 minutes.
People also seem to overstate how much skill they have because they are aware of a stupidly simple concept of board control, while most agro decks don't look for board control. You're not suddenly a better player because you have to or know you should trade your 2/1 into a 4/2 when your deck revolves around that kind of trades, it's exactly the same concept as "should I play this card which I think they can't clear and will be able to do x damage to face next turn".There is huge difference between on-curve and off-curve play. On-curve plays are always obvious unless you're playing the deck for the first time. When you're trying to make an off-curve play, you have to think a lot of possibilities to choose a best play. Face Hunter rarely make any off-curve play and the right choice is to "go face." Today I met a rank ~450 legend face Hunter facing on board lethal and doesn't trade and just went face (putting me at 1 health, maybe he didn't know how to do math). If he traded just one of his minion, he would still have guaranteed lethal next turn and won the game because I didn't top-deck anything. Yes, 450 legend face Hunter don't know how to count lethal.
Also, please don't mix the concept of aggro and face. They are very different. Some aggro deck, like classic Zoo, faces more challenging decision than some control decks, like control Warrior. Face deck, on the other hand, has no choice to make -- they always go face. Aggro decks are needed to balance the meta. Face deck is nothing but cancer to the meta.
sitting trying to drag a game out until you can drop x2 Molten Giants and Argus them or have drawn Force/Savage doesn't somehow make you a HS genius. No, these deck don't make you "a HS genius." Skill, however, is a relative concept. If you're comparing Handlock/combo Druid against face Hunter, then it's obvious that they require much more skill than face Hunter.
Yes I play Face Hunter, along with Handlock and Midrange Paladin mostly & consider them to be of fairly equal skill needed (actually find Handlock easiest unless an agro deck lucks out with perfect curve and I draw nothing useful).I play all existing deck archetypes. Face Hunter is the only deck I can watching movie, texting and playing at the same time and still maintain a 67% win rate.

Actually it's a demon handlock.
true demonlock is midrange, this one is control

I swear I went to check

you're right except that NO, loatheb doesn't need any nerfs. He's fine for his cost and your arguments don't also make him overcosted as well as makes him unplayable. It is not the best card in the game, Loatheb is very well balanced, any modifications would make him bad
1
the real thing are warriors and pallys using blade flurry and deadly poison.... THAT will be insane....
5
To all of you complaining about priest: You should be ashamed, priest is the weakest class in the actual meta, and the easiest to counter
1
definetly facehunter. Since all my decks are anti-aggro none of the two really annoy me THAT much, but still, knowing how to play you always win against a mech mage, but even if you are the best player in the world and plays perfectly you can STILL lose to facehunter. that's why
2
well kinda obvious that in every card game card draws and hand advantage is a great thing, and judging by that and synergy with the hero, + the versatility of different situations definetly the warlock is the best one.
THAT is something I personally learned from another 3 card games that I have played (Yu-gi, MTG, Pokemon TCG):
Draw a card = gain a turn
and applies to Hearthstone as well

Well I might say that you shall find a lot of fun with that deck, and also, good job with the "making it fun" concept, I think I should try more stuff like these
Still, I was just getting happy with the possibility that I've just found the guy piloting that deck in that match, but i think it doesn't matter as you just said having fun pays it all, and i'm glad to acknowledge there are people like you that make entertainment really entertaining, nowadays that everything comes down to competition, it is very nice to have some laughs now and then
