Better than sprint for any rogue deck that will make it to fatigue routinely (mill rogue). Also why are people complaining about the rng of the draw? This is a card game! Drawing is an integral part of any similair game. This isn't an unstable portal amount of rng, it's basically the same amount of rng you face every turn when you draw a card! It is still just drawing from your deck so you do have a degree of control! Also I saw people complaining that blizzard is hating on rogues this expansion.... Are you kidding me!? Rogues have gotten some of the best cards in this set that are good in a variety of archetypes!
Another minion for my anti spell mage! Also could be decent if taunt warrior becomes a thing because Bolster will still affect it. All in all I like it, though I do think they may have over costed him. 8 mana would of been great.
Eventually it will make sense for them to do so considering they seem to add one giant per expansion (here's hoping this one continues the trend). Plus there are a bunch of lore friendly giant types for them to do so which doesn't even take into account that they are fine with adding non lore existing ones as well such as Clockwork Giant. Plus not all cards would have to be huge 8/8 giants to have the giant tag seeing as how the Vrykul exist (half giants). Plus we have the untapped potential of the legendary giants! Then they could introduce a giant for each class such as an iron giant for warriors that cost reduces on amount of armor gained. Then we could have giant spells and non giants that interact with giants ala Houndmaster! Basically I want a giant themed expansion...
As far as lore goes this card nails it. But like people before me said it lacks balance. Summoning one of the 5 random dragon aspects should do It. My only other complaint then would be the stat line, It just seems weird to me. I would expect his health and attack to atleast be as big as death wing so perhaps redistribute some of his attack or make him a 15/15? It's just that 16/8 seems so weird to me...
Patron, floating watcher, anti aggro and possible finisher are among just a few different ways I can see this card being used which for such a simple effect is quite a lot!
I can't envision a world where midrange hunter DOESN'T play this. It's just that good. I guessed the effect but I thought they were going to cost it at 9 so for 8 that is just strict and immediate value. Always Huffer! ... And Misha... And Leokk...
I really hope it's a cool warrior card that interacts with damaged minions in some way. I want some enrage love! That's why I voted for it because the art suggests something along those lines to me.
I don't care if this is good or not it's just awesome. Definitely crafting a pair of these and putting them in an aviana deck. Maybe a double ancestors call deck? Hmmm.... This is going to be fun.
Meh. Pretty lame for an old God. The other two have had much more powerful effects that also require you to build around them which is cool and thematic while this is just a boring slow minion that probably won't be good even in heavy control decks. I'm disappointed. I was hoping since he had so much lore behind him being ripped apart that they would do something similar to thadius or voltron where you would have to assemble his separate parts throughout the game to get a really powerful minion that would win you the game (basically) outright if you manage to summon him seeing as he was the most powerful old god. This is boring and unispired.

Plus Ogres are technically giants in the wow universe.

This in a rogue deck with shadow steps, brann and all the good cheap rogue spells. Play it. 14ish Spells thrown everywhere!

Did you even try with this fake? Automatic card generators are more convincing than this...

Mmmmm this is so sweet! Going to craft two of these right away if I don't get two in my packs!

This makes me think more and more that doomhammer is going to be nerfed. Otherwise shaman will have two 5 cost weapons which is kind of weird.
