I am having a bit of luck with this deck, and that is without even having some of the key cards such as Eaglehorn Bow (I have no dust, nor a very expensive collection).

I seem to be playing a lot of Unite the Murlocs opponents at the moment, and can beat them so long as I get reasonable drops. Kill Command almost always ends up being my finisher.

One minion I do have that is not listed here is Timber Wolf, and based on his performance I think I will keep him in the deck even when I find replacements. He combos well with other cards, especially Unleash the Hounds. Given how aggressive the meta is at the moment I am tempted to try and put a Explosive Trap in there as well, maybe at the cost of Stubborn Gastropod who doesn't really seem to have given much value yet.

Cheers mate, it's only theorycraft so I would love to know how it goes!

It may need a few more removals, I am not sure

This seems like a really weak class quest result.

All of the other revealed so far have benefits above introducing a single minion, whether it be buffing your hero, adding cards to your deck, adding cards to your hand, or buffing your units.

This quest however introduces a single big unit that can then be destroyed by a spell or ability the next turn, before he gets a chance to play.

The "stealth" or "can't be targeted by spells or hero powers" adaption would seem like the only adaptions you could pick where he could get to play a turn, however even with those he wouldn't survive a board clearing skill.

I can't speak for anyone else but for aggro I always try keep any of the following if I get them in my initial draw: Doomsayer,Hellfire, & DemonwrathMortal Coil, Disciple of C'Thun or Mind Control Tech could also be a consideration. Basically anything that has instant removal.

To be honest I always keep Doomsayer no matter whom i am playing against. Dropping it in round 2 or 3 almost always at the very least stalls the game for a round, either with the opponent choosing not to play a minion or using up a precious removal. And I ALWAYS keep Reno Jackson irrespective of the opponent; he is such a key card that you simply cannot afford to have him floating around at the bottom of your deck.

I find aggro is either won or lost on the draw of the first couple of rounds.

The opponents I constantly struggle against is Rogue Deathrattle heavy N'Zoth, the Corruptor decks. This Warlock deck has a strong focus on removals but that works against you when you're matched up against cards like Twilight Summoner (which is almost always followed up with by Unearthed Raptor in the very next round)

Just another mention on my post above:

I'd also like to add an Acidic Swamp Ooze card into the hand but I'm not quite sure what to replace out for it. Especially with Shamans being so popular at the moment, it would be devastating against Doomhammer, although it would equally be as useful against many of the other weapons still frequently in play, such as Fiery War Axe, Truesilver Champion, Eaglehorn Bow or Gorehowl. I'm tempted to swap out either Cult Apothecary, Earthen Ring Farseer or Beckoner of Evil for it since I believe it has the potential for a much bigger tempo swing than them. Cult Apothecary is particular I've found to be lackluster - if they've got enough on the board for you to actually make good use of it then you're probably better off trying to use on of your clears or your Mind Control Tech. A 5 mana 4/4 doesn't make a lot of difference even with the heal.

I am having a lot of fun with this deck, it's one of those ones that I feel that can have an answer for any situation thrown at you.

I have a couple of changes though:

    • I swappedLord Jaraxxus for Arch-Thief Rafaam : I don't have Lord Jaraxxus but so far Arch-Thief Rafaam has been stellar, he is often my win condition. The card I pick from his battlecry depends on the board but usually it's that 10 drop that steals the game for me
    • I swapped Crazed Worshipper for Youthful Brewmaster : I don't yet have Crazed Worshipper and truth be told if I did I would include him since he looks like a powerful card. But I absolutely believe that Youthful Brewmaster needs to be an auto include, he just offers way too many possibilities. Usually it means that on turn 8 I drop Reno Jackson and then swap him back into my hand to be able to use again later if I need to. However with 1 Emperor Thaurissan effect on both cards you can also use C'Thun, swap him back and then drop him down the next round as well. I've also used him to Mind Control Tech 2 opponents in one turn, and Defender of Argus is another candidate for the card. He is just so flexible that he needs to be in the deck in my opinion.

I haven't played much Warlock and I do have a question though about the best practice - how often should I be using my hero power. For example on round 2 if my opponent has a 1 drop on the board and I have Beckoner of Evil, should I be using my hero power or should I instead be playing my 2 mana drop?
