this thread's name doesn't even make sense by the way. Pepper is worse than salt, it even gives you cough. It should have been a sugar thread. I dont get the pepper part, i wouldn't want to taste pepper. better salt for that
I love me some pepper.... I think the idea was salt and peppa. Sugar would not be a bad alternative though.
Other games? HA I lost interest in most other games, and not becauuse they are not good. It is because in the back of my head I know that I just really do not have the time to sit and play for 4 hours straight. If the wifey goes away for a few days, then I used to buy/rent a game for my Xbox, but I would always lose interest or play it so obsessively since I knew that it was only a short window.
Used to love games like WOW, Fable, Halo, Bioshock, Fallout, and Skyrim, but I just don't have that kinda time anymore. And when I "make time" i really fail at being an adult.
Today it seems that I am destined to match up against my counterdeck all morning :( 3 games 3 hard counters....
I will probably take a little break, I was depressingly close to rank 10 after not having played a lot of wild this season. Maybe with a head start in March I will have a better time.
i dont think anyone has won the packs. blizzard will be late like usual. They will probably say that : oh its because of timezones and thats why you havent gotten anything yet...i personally think this is just a big scam to make new people join hearthstone. The prizes will go to some streamers in brazil or sth.
Anyways, whether scam or not, i think its not worth debating about this topic since i know admins here dont like it when you talk bad about hearthstone . thats a no no, so im out
Yeah no.
Contest laws in America are srs business. Everyone who entered has an equal chance to win, if they don't that's basically an autowin lawsuit right there
But if you're competing against 5 million other people, your odds of winning are about what they'd be to win the actual lottery.
suuure dude, welcome to real world
It would not be worth it for blizzard to rig the contest. The amount of trouble they would get in for rigging it would far outweigh them getting anything from giving it to anyone in particular.
I don’t think Blizzard rigged it, but quick Devil’s advocate here...
McDonald’s employees rigged the Monopoly game grand prize winners for the first few years. Penalty money was nothing compared to the sales bump they received from the promotion.
Thats fair, but it would have cost McDonalds something to give out grandprize. Blizzard basically only loses income from one player, who may not have been giving them much anyway...
It's very boring gameplay for both involved, but you can make that choice.
Even though I haven't played the deck I find it quite entertaining to lose against. And as I said it's a very different deck for Hunter than what has been and is played since the beggining of Hearthstone, but I don't want to sink my dust into a bunch of Giants and end up being sad that the deck performs very mediocre on ladder. Thanks for stopping by though, appreciated.
If you like hunter, this can be a really fun deck with a decent win-rate. I think it is similar in some ways to freeze/combo mage (or any combo deck) you either get your combo or you don't and rarely you will pull off a win without it. Which giants are you missing, because you don't need all of them. And you may be able to 'try out' a version with a giant or two less to get a feel for it. I like it a little better than other OTK combo type decks because it can be a little more flexbile and DK Rexx has won me games without a devastating Naga turn.
I used Giant hunter at the start of the season and went from 20-13 and only lost about 2 games. It was a fun climb, most people at lower ranks are surprised by it (or at least expecting a more popular hunter) though at higher ranks there are a lot more answers for it.
Just won vs a secret mage, turn 1 Mana Wyrm, coin, kabal free secret..... which was a counterspell. next turn another free secret and I was down to 15 health by about turn 4 as a Hunter.... I ended up coming back for the win and they conceded before I could smash face...muhuahuhauha

If you don't want Malygos shaman (which is a lot of fun) you could try a spellstone overload shaman. The idea is to get any of your big minions (Earth Elemental, Giant, etc. to stick and then next turn you summon 4 on board. I have a deck or two that is ok at it, but have not found a perfect one yet. It has been fun though and you can get some funny concedes.... Try dealing with 4 Lich Kings muahahaha
I have also contemplated a: Blood of The Ancient One deck (including in a spellstone deck) but have not crafted one yet. If you had 4 would you create two???

There is something glorious about hexing and devolving priests and Warlock minions that feelsgoodman.
PSA if someone buffs a 0 mana minion devolving it will not remove buffs.
