I think in the Monster Hunt a draw equals a win. One of the bosses spawned 1/3s that dealt one damage when the died, which spawned another 1/3. If the boss chains them the right way you can take a lot of damage, but he kill himself at the same time. Since it is a simultaneous effect, you both should lose. But you get to move on to the next boss...
It happened to Kripp in a video as well.
It's not. Draw in MH or DR is a replay with an opponent of the same level.
It's actually a good choice if you are going to loose anyway and you manage to get a draw.
When you for example both die from hellfire, you both get the "defeat" screen, but none of you loose star. In this situation you won, because auctioner effect triggers before the razorpetan deal damage.
Exactly as stated.
Wording is the key here Gadgetzan Auctioneer says "Whenever". This means before the other effects triggers.
So, even though he killed you with that Razorpetal, your opponent was actually dead already from fatigue.
The game shows all the process and you dying from the Razorpetal, but actually you won.
Happy Birthday Hearthpwn!!! It's nice to see all the work you do!!!!! I enjoy opening the site to see which news we have about the game and searching interesting decks!
After some time you'll see that keeping cards that you thought were bad, became useful.
I haven't disenchanted any card since I dusted some Legendarys back when GOG lunched, to craft Dr. Boom. I regret now because I miss some of them and I'm close to complete my classic colection.
If you don't disenchant, you'll never miss anything,
Won Tess in the first try also. I choosed twice "cards that didn't start in your hand cost one less". Then just managed to have a copy of Cheap Shot and get another copy of it from Tess' Hero Power... They cost 0, you get infinite board clear... Not a single problem after that.
Well, Disguised Toast hit Rank 15 in about 3 hours with a brand new account, so I'd say its ok.
Can everyone do that though? Definently not. I've been playing since KOFT and only hit Rank 10 last season.
I remember making Midrange Hunter and Thief Priest as a new player, didn't do great with them but those were the decks that got me in the game. I hit R19 with Thief Priest (an incredible accomplishment btw) and it was really fun.
My friend that started last month got Shudderwok as his free Legendary and opened the other combo pieces and got to R20 his 3rd week of playing.
I don't know if we can take Toast or any other of the pros... Those people are the best in the game and can actually make excellent decks out of a few cards...
I've been playing since beta with the same account. Not too long ago, I created a new account just for fun, and realised that it's actually really hard to try and win games in a row without having most of the cards.
What do you think? anyone had a better experience or is it just me?

What about something Hagatha says when you play against her? I can't remember correctly but it has something related to the ingredients

I defeated it with an extra mana cristal and his opponent minion's costing one more mana... and then taking care of my Grim Patron. Easy win.
