Battletag: lethalbunny#2595 Region: EU Origin: Netherlands Usual Play Times: UTC +1 weekdays sometimes in the evening and weekends Level of Experience: beginner - intermediate (but closer to intermediate) Preferred Heroes: What I think I can play best in that meta (prefer aggro myself) I’m Looking For: Fun games, getting quests done and learning stuff (note: I play on tablet) Tell us something about you: I play for fun, but don't have the feel for making new decks, so usually play some netdecks (but if you want me to try your deck, happy to test)
So, I really started playing in january, though I had played a few times before that.
Assuming a new player doesn't want to pay anything or not much, I think the following tips may help:
- Play every brawl: it's a pack after the win (and sometimes even after a game)
- Get your daily quests, they are not that hard to get and if they are, jus cycle them.
I'm not saying: cycle for higher rewards, but cycle for the "play X Hunter cards" or "play x mechs"
These are easy to obtain so give you that "win" feeling.
- Try to get to level 20 and of course the 5 wins. it will give you dust.
- Find a budget deck, which you probably have a lot of cards for anyway and start playing that.
- Understand, that even the best players lose games, and they are better and have all the cards.
I noticed, that I got tilted, because I lost games going to a goal (say get rank 15)
Set your goals to: "play 10 games a day". They should be goals that are easy to meet and will make you a better player overall.
The main thing, is that this is a game (though people tend to forget that) and that means that the goal is to win games, the purpose however is to have fun.
If you only have fun when you are winning, I suggest you get good very fast.

Trade Only?: No problem, but no need

Flark, Dr. Doom, Zilliax, Myra, Floop.
And then some others.
I was pretty happy with my opening .
I started counting the pity timer when I got to 40 packs to open and started again at 30 packs to open.

Skulking Geist becomes a very good tech card if this is played enough

Because you see 3 cards (maybe even 6) out of your opponent's deck.
And then choose one.
At worst you should get a mediocre card, but with just the copy it could be a bad card for you

Been there, done that.
Also: first time I started quitting again (and then starting a few years later.)

I expected them at the end of the season.
Still happy to see them coming even as an even Paladin player.
Time to find a new deck!

Turn 5 lethal.
Or actually, he conceded after I played my first call to arms

I finally did it with 2 times +2 attack for your bloodhounds.
And picking companion bucket helped me alot.
The companion bird with bolldhounds made sure that the glinda minion died, the moment she entered the board.

It even says 2 weeks in the solo play mode.
The "some reason" is probably the same as not showing all new cards at once: 2 weeks of constructed play and then open the monster hunt.
If it has the same crazy games as dungeon run, people will look for other cards, then those that are used now

I still don't like Emeriss.
I had him once against me and he did win, but if my start was a bit better he wouldn't get that far.
He works best if your hand has a couple of big beasts, but that means, you don't get to play alot early on.
