TachiiDerp posted a message on [Legend #2] - Discolock Guide - S30Posted in: [Legend #2] - Discolock Guide - S30If imp is "generally wrong" on turn 1 it pretty much agrees to my initial point of having a less flexible turn 1. By having these discard mechanic cards in the deck you lose out in the consistency of POs, Forbidden Rituals, and Argent Squires, as well as with the addition of buff cards being slightly worse as well due to missing out on these expendable cards.
The purpose of having a draw engine is to have more reach for lethal, but ironically the deck lose out in more reach by taking POs/Rituals out, and having a less stickier board in general. Drawing a card and losing a card might seem like you're not losing card value, but even as normal zoo there are several moments where I was forced to use Soulfire and I lost an Imp Gang Boss for something way shittier. This inconsistency alone makes discard mechanics a bit too RNG for my liking.

I wouldn't craft it just for this deck, it's better in a more control oriented decks. If you plan to do some control mage play, go for it, but your dust may get more value elsewhere. I threw a Flamestrike in instead since there is no solid board clear except for what you randomly get, and it has been working for me.

What kind of warriors were you encountering? I might be having bad luck but Quest Warrior is a pain for me with this deck, otherwise I'm having a blast with it! Counterspelling a Crystal Core is so damn satisfying *drools*

there's this in-game feature called mulligan, and this aspect of life called bad luck.

1. The deck creator has no control over where this website sets its cards.
2. It is a triclass card, not a neutral card. Makes more sense to call it a class card than a neutral card.

A few tips:
1. Track your games, it helps a lot to see what types of decks you are struggling most against so you can research the best ways to play against those decks.
2. Truly learn all classes even if you never play them so you can learn to play around their cards. Is it about to be opponent mage turn 7? better not play something that will die to Flamestrike anyway. Priest turn 3? maybe play a throw away you don't mind dying to Shadow Word: Death so a bigger threat can live later.
3. Don't play every card in your hand just because you can. one fault of many players, new and old alike, is playing everything they can just because they have the mana for it. Yea, you COULD play Excavated Evil now to kill those 2 minions....but could you last a couple turns to make it really worth it? You COULD Execute that Frothing Berserker, but maybe you should just weapon trade it and take some damage to save Executefor a bigger threat.
Always think several plays ahead...could this card suit me better down the road? What could the opponent have in hand? What's left in my deck?

there's a convert to standard button in your deck editor.
