Implementing a superintelligent 50% win rate algorithm would consume so much freaking time and maintenance costs that every senior developer would say: No I don't do it. If we don't do an algorithm we will probably end up at 50% anyhow ;)

A Junior Developer would implement a 50% winrate algorithm which is only correct in 50% of the times ;)

 Mindbreaker is enough if you already baited all his removals. If you play it T3, that's your fault.

The main reason why I hate losing against highlander priest is because I have the feeling that this is a deck that does not punish players for horrible mistakes as long as they draw everything they need. 

I am playing midrange/control paladin most of the time. I can win but I need to be very lucky. Too many answers... Go fill board board with small minions, even 4 attack minions. Get fucked by dragonfire, pint size horror is even worse. Play high attack minions after DK and they machine gun them down.

Seriously. The power level is way too high compared to other dks. Of course it is a synergy with Raza but that needs to be considered. I think the hero power should be nerved to either allow for minions or face only... Or something like after you play a card do something... Random or face damage. It sucks that priest DK does not need to fight for a board anymore. It's lame... 

 There is only one thing for sure. Don't leave something on board for turn 7. Because the chance that your opponent has a Bonemare in hand is 100%.

As long as the same rules and RNG apply to all players, it is still fair. There are so many different types of Tournament Modes already which require you to strategically overthink your setup, counter play certain decks. whatever.

As long as there are watchers, for me it feels legit to have competitive tournaments.

5. Switch to meme decks and try to get to 4/3 maybe.

I am trying a less greedier version now, where I removed both novice engineers and replaced it with Greater Healing Potion and Binding Heal. I want to have more endurance against control decks. Cause I find myself losing against fast aggro decks anyhow. But this is not a deck for climbing. It is a meme deck :)

The only auto-loss is against rogue and against a perfect Jade-Druid start. I don't think that Aoe is essential as you would not recover from it anyhow. But thats okay for me. I play it for fun and I had so many WTF moments.

I adopted this deck and made a much more greedier version of it. Of course it is still a meme deck, but I am running a win streak through ranks 17-13.

This deck here is way too slow. So I kicked out all the slow cards like Holy Nova and Spirit Lash and replaced them with cycle cards. Much faster. The idea is: cycle your own deck. Then use Benedictus to refresh :)
