bigbrotherandsister posted a message on I am now forced to admit a Blizz does not care about the metaPosted in: General DiscussionOP, if you use words like "I am now FORCED" or "I am BEGGING Blizzard", then yeah, you should take a break right now, not after you finish your daily quests. Blizzard is aware that the meta isn't enjoyable and they believe the mini set will make things better. Sure, they could be wrong but if that happens, it's not because they are incompetent, but because the mini-set was designed in advance when they didn't knew what the meta will be and they can't make changes before the release.
Anyway, have a good day and remember: "Hearthstone and competitive games in general are not worth getting upset for." Seriously, they're just games and nothing more.

DMH_Meta posted a message on People who usually rope for no apparent reason; why?Posted in: General Discussioncause they are edgy kids thinking multitasking is a trait of being smart. so they are watching ytb or netflix or even playing another game like some bozo just said.
They end up not enjoying either thing, since multitasking is for efficiency purposes not entertainment.

MYK8283 posted a message on Tickatus need a changePosted in: Card DiscussionLess nerfing, more learning.
If game is too hard for you or Tick too Oppresive, you can always play Candy Crush instead.

Kinkyjohnfowler posted a message on Some forum user action to quell complaining threadsPosted in: General DiscussionDuplicate threads (like Tick threads) and threads with no content other than salt being deleted seems fair (and from what I’ve seen the mods do a good job of this), but deleting threads because they are critical of the game seems a bit silly.
If you want to discuss strategies then r/CompetitiveHS is probably a better option.

TwistedCardmaster posted a message on Tickatus need a changePosted in: Card DiscussionI think Blizzard could rework Tickatus into one of these:
- Battlecry: Remove the top 5 cards from your opponent's deck. No corruption effect, no demon tag. It would be easier to play (even against faster decks), but limited to burning only 5 random cards per game.
- Leave corruption as it is, but instead of burning 5 random cards, make it: Discover card from your opponent's deck and then remove it. Repeat 3 times. Less cards to burn, but in more controlled, aimed way.

Yea sure why would i not want you to get dust. I doubt Blizzard will want to but why would I not. Most people would probably see it as a positive thing that players get it easier, instead of being frustrated that other people get stuff.

While you are correct, it is nothing new with stuff losing value over time.
I used to play mtg, and old cards lost value, and some gained value (physical cards so a different I know). I personally do not understand why the fact that someone spent resources to get something a long time ago means that they are guaranteed the same value a few years later. It's not like the cards are disappearing from the players that already has them or that the stats are changed. So why should they even refund? They will do it because the player base would get mad otherwise, but there is no logic behind it.

That is a good idea. It could be worth it to show to blizzard that they can earn revenue by letting new people into wild as well. Personally i'm getting bored of standard, but would like to play Wild even if it means buying some packs (if it is a reasonable price since it is so many expansions)

I played casually and did it the last expansion. Started playing halfway into the expansion even, so you should be able to do it.

"You're not good. You're just playing the rank 1 meta deck. It's meant to win in the meta. Was I clear enough?".
Not being passive-aggressive? Maybe full on aggressive then.
And you do not have to be looking for help to actually need it.

It is just a game. If a game makes you feel frustrated enough to be passive-aggressive towards a player happy to reach legends, then it might be better for your mental health if you stop playing for a while.

Wow, such an edgy answer.

I prefer the pre-built ones. As a quite new player I loathe the games where you can use old cards to build an op deck, simply because I do not have any.

If we see the same amount of Lunacy decks then the "nerf" is a failure. But the point of nerfs is not to nuke a deck out of existence, but to balance it. So the nerf will hopefully mean that Lunacy decks is still played, but not as dominant as it is now. We will see.
