Say hello to this expansion's weirdest card. And for that it's going to be really hard to rate. That effect is just... wow it's weird in a good way but therefore it makes it incredibly hard to rate. In a similar way to The Caverns Below back when it was first announced with a lot of the community having difficulties figuring out how theoretically good this card is. It's a strange card with a powerful effect, the biggest problem with it is trying to find the answer to that one question: "Can you live through your opponents extra turns, to be able to gain any benefit from the Battlecry." And that's a question I think can only be answered in practice, not just in theory, also the big thing about those two turns is that it depends on what matchup this is. Against either Quest Mage or Jade Druid this card is probably suicide, however against other decks you could definitely survive those two turns and a lot of priest decks honestly would benefit from the double turns, I could see something like Machine Gun Priest really getting a kick out of the two turns. Maybe Dragon Priest could run it just as a powerful dragon with a good effect. But like I said all in all, in my opinion this card would require some practical experimentation for me to determine the true power level of this card. The effect is just too strange to do it in theory.

I hope you guys are joking...

Every single expansion, we get people making shit up that's not on the card, and they are never, ever correct.
If it doesn't say it loses durability, then it doesn't lose durability.

You guys are complaining about a card without even seeing half of the cards yet. Have you forgot spreading plague? "Dust it" right? Also priest DK "Bad" card now being in a tier 1 deck. NEVER describe a book by It's cover. Yeah here you go, I actually can see this in OTK dragon priest with lyra, it could be pretty good.

Oh no I'm not saying it's a must have for Priests or even for Razakus. I'm saying I was right in that in the right meta (one that's not completely dominated by aggro) with the right cards (some of which hadn't yet been revealed.....like Shadowreaper Anduin), the card would be really strong. If you had a way to draw your answers really quickly or cycle really quickly, Archbishop would be good because unlike Malchezar, people tend to put actually good cards in their deck.
And I was right in that, with DK Anduin and Raza, being able to access your answers very quickly via Hemet, Archbishop refills your deck and even if the cards don't have Priest synergy, your entire remaining deck is not Priest anymore, and every card has "deal 2 damage to anything" attached to it. I was right that with this set of circumstances, the card is good.
That is all I'm saying.
edit: Have ranked up to 2 now with this "unplayable trash tier" card.

Quote from SchruteBucks >>I mean.....if you don't even play the game anymore, your unfounded (salty) opinion holds little weight against my actual experience.
If the person that is not playing the game check the right sources with the meta decks, then yes his opinion have more weight than a dude that is desperate enough to consider personal experience "proof" of something.

Priest has two glaring weaknesses regarding removals: 4 health creatures (especially Ysera) and deathrattle (Sylvanas, Tirion). Those minions are often the reason why Priest lose control matchups. Entomb is the missing piece in Priests arsenal. Vs warrior you even have the extra benefit when going to fatigue (which often happens). Yes, you can use 2 card combos or MC as counter, but the first is unreliable and the second is too expensive.

I swapped Justicar Trueheart for Neptulon. I think Neptulon is the superior choice in this deck, and you have the possibility to get the Brann Bronzebeard/Neptulon dream!

Hi Mhantra, long time no see. How is your Master Jouster deck going?
I have 2.7k dust and since Shaman is one of my favorite classes (along with Priest and Mage) I am contemplating getting The Mistcaller. I have the feeling The Mistcaller is going to work great in a battlecry Shaman, and I really want that archetype to work. On the other hand, I'm missing the crucial legendaries for (Demon)handlock and control Warrior. Choices, choices...

I found that Chillmaw has been too situational for me, and often just rested in my hand. I swapped it with Confessor Paletress. It is such a fun card, and it brings some Priest craziness into this your deck. Sometimes it can just swing the game in your favour if you're in a tight situation, and need to pray to RNGesus.
My most ridiculous Confessor Paletress moment was vs a tempo Mage. He managed to stealth his Archmage Antonidas, got me down to 11 health, and I knew I was pretty dead. I had enough board control to kill Antonidas, but no cards to prevent him killing me with his two Fireball in hand (which he got from Antonidas). I had Confessor Paletress in my hand, and thought "oh well, I want to at least play her before dying. Play Confessor Paletress->Heal myself->summon Bolf Ramshield!!->"Well played"->Concede

I have not had this much fun with a Mage deck since my secret Mage pre GvG. If your mulligan is okayish, then this deck can beat most other decks. I must say I really love Effigy! My favorite play was turn 2 Unstable Portal (Chillmaw), turn 3 Effigy, turn 4 Chillmaw which got Win-axed/Execute'd into another Chillmaw! Yup, that Patron warrior died on turn 6.

You could be either very unlucky with your draws, or you could be playing the deck wrong. That Mukla dies immediately is usually not a problem if you have enough tokens.
So, here is how I mulligan:
Hard mulligan for Zombie Chow. If I have Nerubian Egg and Abusive Sergeant/Flametongue Totem/Rockbiter Weapon, keep both. If I have any of the above, keep Tuskarr Totemic. If I have coin, keep Piloted Shredder.
How I play:
If I have Nerubian Egg and an activator, I play the egg always on turn 2 (coin it on turn 1). If possible, hero power the next turn if I have Flametongue Totem. Always wait with Flametongue Totem until the opponent plays a minion. Always play Piloted Shredder on turn 4 (or coin turn 3), unless I can fully utilize Flametongue Totem on at least 2 tokens (egg, totem). If I have Piloted Shredder, never play Lightning Storm on turn 3. Actually, I try to avoid early game Lightning Storm, sometimes a hero power is better. If you suspect an AoE on the next turn, sacrifice your non-death rattle minions before your death rattle minions. Actually, I try to save the death rattle in the mid game (turn 2-3 egg death rattle is usually a good move though), they give you a better board presence. If I have both Mukla and a Fire Elemental in the hand, I usually play Fire Elemental first, because the tempo swing is enormous. Let the Fire Elemental eat any removals. Fire Elemental also survives most AoEs. If I have many tokens, I try to play Mukla on turn 7 if the opponent potentially has 2 dmg AoE (Paladin, Priest, Hunter).
Shaman is not the easiest to play, and I must admit I'm not that good a player, but the trick with Shaman is to utilize your tokens and Flametongue Totem to the fullest. Also, try to play several juicy targets at the same time (if the opponent does not have an AoE to kill both). E.g. early game an empty opponent board and you have 1 token? Play Flametongue Totem and Mana Tide Totem.

Dr. Boom is important in many decks, but extra so in this deck. Dr. Boom provides tokens, which synergizes with Mukla's Champion, Flametongue Totem, Abusive Sergeant and Defender of Argus, in addition to providing a solid 7/7 body. As Qwooth already said, any cards that gets nerfed can be dusted for the full amount, so you will not lose any investment.

Not even close. Please think before you type.

I made the following changes to this deck:
-1 Defender of Argus
-1 Loatheb
+1 Crackle
+1 Neptulon
Crackle is optional, but Neptulon is perfect for this deck. The deck tend to loose steam later in the game, but with Neptulon you are instantly replenished with much needed cards. I would even say the card is a must.

Justicar removes the only one totem type limit, so you can fill the board with 3 spell damage totems if you want.
