Someone remembes the REAL tempo mage? No?
This is an aggro deck, at the limits of a face deck.

GetchX posted a message on Tempo Mage Asserts Itself in the Post-Nerf MetaPosted in: NewsLOL, "tempo". All minions are 3 mana or less (Kabal Crystal Runner is not 6 mana). Only 5 cards are 4 mana or more, mainly meant for face damage.
Please, call it what it is. It's aggro for mage. It has insane tempo, but it's aggro. Don't sugar-coat it, don't pretend it's "tempo" because you might make a trade in the "first few turns" (exact quote), it's aggro. The entire writeup is basically "make obvious trades and go face otherwise". It could have been simply "make sure you are alive and have a working internet, and make the obvious play".
It's fine for decks like these to exist, but call it what it is. Brainless aggro for mage.

Lightspoon posted a message on The Ranked Play Changes Have Been Announced and are Coming in March!Posted in: NewsIf this is all they could think of after more than an year from the announcement of the Ladders rewamp then I'm really disappointed: the boringness of the grind has not been touched and still there. It could be a bit less frustrating since you'll be dropped only of 4 ranks each Season but it still a system that rewards fast time-efficient decks over anything else.
They should have made a more drastic and deep revolution instead of just this light rewamp. Don't get me wrong: this are nice changes, but they should have been just a first step in the right direction, not the final result.

fordagame posted a message on Iksar Explains why no Keyword Exists for "Can't be Targeted by Spells or Hero Powers"Posted in: NewsHearthstone is very nice game, but I hate when they start to throw random stupid problems to people to describe their development process. I know that games from many years, became casual fest, but one game dictionary with mechanics is nothing complicated and this can't be your moving factor in order 2 years kid to understand it. Neither Adapt is descriptive, nor battlecry. I am sorry but does the battlecry effect goes first or minion is summoned? How the hell this is described in battlecry keyword? To be honest I would prefer to play in the game, in which it players can open 1 page tutorial and to understand it.
I would just call it spell immunity (hero powers which target in reality are spells).

You only need to restart the client a few times, in my case it takes 4 times to restart the client. It was confirmed by a moderator in the technical assistance forums.

Its been tested with Reno Jackson. The game treats different "forms" of Pyros as different cards.

Has synergy with Pyros as well... This card is busted

And this is why there are so few original deckbuilders on Hearthpwn, everybody shits on a new deck idea if its not remotely competitive (same thing happened to me before).
Some people are just trying to have fun, not discover the next tier 1 deck. Sure, everyone knows including cards like Tirion Fordring or Rag makes the deck better, but fun decks prefer including cards that fit the theme than strong standalone cards.

Damn, Blizzard is trying really hard to dilute 8 mana Evolves.

Really good in Control Warlock, especially with Bloodreaver Gul'dan.
I was really dreading this in ZooLock, but fortunately, as others have pointed out, ZooLock will not cut Prince Keleseth for this :whew:

Finally, another card besides Floating Watcher that has self-damage synergy! And here I thought Blizzard had forgotten about it.

Spirit Echo puts them into your hand. This summons the Totems on board, which can help set up a Bloodlust next turn.

As a Johnny type player, this is turning out to be my favorite expansion. Instead of getting blatantly overpowered high variance cards, we're getting cards that require certain deckbuilding to bring out their full potential.
2
Windshear Stormcaller and Lesser Amethyst Spellstone.
I've previously mentioned that there are still alot of unexplored class identity mechanics that Blizzard seem to have forgotten in the past few expansions, great to see them finally expanding on them.

This is turning out to be the best expansion ever! I was just saying awhile back that there are so much Class identity mechanics like Totems, self-damage, etc. that are not explored by Blizzard, and we're finally getting them!
Also, this expansion seems to focus alot more on deckbuilding, which I really enjoy.
