Regarding 1 drops, its hard to predict what will work best. I like Bone Breaker as it controls the board early. I dont like Ymirjar Frostbreaker and Irondeep Trogg seems meta depended. But maybe it is not a bad idea to add 1... Anyway, Runeforging is good I agree, however I excluded it due to Overseer Frigidara.

Shipmen posted a message on March of the Lich King Card List, Release Date, & Expansion DetailsPosted in: GuidesForecast:
The new meta will be practically only DK Denathrius (because the class is new, strong and this class is op with Denathrius that it is very strong). We will have a meta again where whoever draws Denathrius for first wins.
After the first/second week, Denathrius will be nerfed in the oblivion, and we will have a new meta where DKs will be around 50%.
It is always a circus in circle.

JollyCroquet posted a message on The most powerful/broken expansion yet?Posted in: General DiscussionAs of now not even 25 cards have been announced and 3 of them have already been nerfed. Deathborne went from 5mana to 6. Elitist Snob lost 1 attack and Rogue's new location can now be silenced.
Is this normal? I swear I've seen cards that were announced with a keyword or extra stats than what they're released with but I never knew if that was me misreading them to begin with or not.
Either way, I don't think I've seen this amount of nerfs so early on and I don't know if I'm the only one worried with how powerful the other 110 cards are and how untested this expansion clearly is?

Aventurier posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place! V2Posted in: General DiscussionWhat kind of fucking idiots designed and balanced this shit? Like seriously. I thought the last meta was bad, but this is BY FAR worse.
Ladder is fucking lame and boring af to play.
Just about every opponent is uninteractive or BARELY interactive, or have some kind of unstoppable/unlimited end game.
DH? LOL don't do shit except go face
Huntard? LOL don't do shit except wait for you to play minions or go face
Pirate war? LOL don't do shit except go face
Control war? LOL don't do shit except armor up and clear the board till end game dragons
Ramp druid? LOL don't do shit except ramp into their big cost plays
Mech mage? LOL BARELY interactive until they go into unlimited resources mode or 20 dmg mech shark in 1 turn
Naga mage? LOL BARELY interactive until they play solitaire on their unlimited mana turn
Mech pally? An actual pretty fair deck. You'll fight 1 of these every 15 games.

DocTroy posted a message on TechPulse Hearthstone Developer Interview With Ben Lee & Nathan Lyons-SmithPosted in: NewsI'm actually surprised there aren't neutral "spells" that are actually just consumable items. For instance, would be neat if you could add things to your deck like a Treasure Chest that opens when drawn, and has a chance to have some cool items like a health potion, mana potion, a scroll that does something neat, or something else that may or may not have a mana cost or some other cost. Or, forget the chest, let me add some tech consumables directly to my deck.
Consumables might be a great way to creatively add a sideboard mechanic, or cards that get shuffled into your deck when the game starts, and draws another card when drawn.
Why not have some legendary minions drop loot, ie, whichever player kills it is granted some kind of basic consumable item card, even if it is your own minion.
I really like the soul shards/agony/rifts, or cards that get shuffled into the deck in general, because it allows you to get some extreme value later at the cost of tempo now. I really thing Warlock needs some more cards like this that deal damage or something else cool when drawn. I can imagine a Seed of Corruption card that deals 1 damage to all enemies when drawn, for example. really plays well into the dot-nature of the classes.

sPacEtiMe19 posted a message on New Warlock Legendary Card Revealed - GigafinPosted in: NewsFeels to me that people are overhyping this. Yes, if you kill the 4/7 first, you lose all the minions killed, but the other one is a 4 health minion. How hard is it to kill a 4 health minion?
Besides, since the 7/4 enters first, if you play something like a Twisting Nether, the 7/4 will trigger first and you'll still get your minions back. Seems like a pretty expensive maybe-boardclear card.An 8 mana 11/11, that at WORST freezes a board for a turn, uses an opponents resource, AND leaves a 4/7 behind is already insanely good. The upside is just crazy.

CaHgO posted a message on Hottest Decks for Fractured in Alterac Valley - Community Favorites - Standard and Wild!Posted in: NewsDear Hearthpwn team, can we not call these decks "hottest"? Let's face it - this site has long been dead in terms of deck sharing, deck tracking, deck statistics, meta analysis, etc.
"Tess Thief Rogue" has 16 upvotes on your website, and Shadowjeweler Thief Rogue has 8. Both of the "hottest" Druid decks have 12 upvotes each. To put things further in perspective - there isn't a single deck in your "hottest" list, which has more than 25 upvotes, which is literally pathetic. It doesn't represent the meta, it doesn't represent what people are playing, it doesn't represent win rate, it doesn't represent anything really.
You can label them "most voted", "most liked on Hearthpwn", "most popular on Hearthpwn", but "hottest" is an extreme overexaggeration, and anyone who logs into Hearthstone more than 5 times per month is perfectly aware that no one plays with the decks you are labeling as "hottest".
I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, but it's just ridiculous.

Pherosizm posted a message on 5 mana 7/7, and previous reward track.. not rewardingPosted in: General DiscussionI'm on board for making the final quest rewards either cost 7 mana, or bring the stats down... but I don't think they will do that. I feel like during one of Iksar's AMAs on Twitter, he mentioned that he was surprised at how fast the quests are being completed, so they may make broad adjustments eventually. I think it would be good for everyone if they slow down the quests a touch.
As for the reward track - I guess I see where you're coming from, it doesn't seem like it would hurt them to let the exp gain remain beyond the expansion the achievements debuted in. I don't see any reason to remove it. New players that didn't get a chance to earn them at the time can still get some extra exp. Why not?
Furthermore, since basically all of these achievements require you to have the cards from the set to do them... gee, it might actually make people want to spend more money on sets that aren't the most recent. Opportunity wasted?

to much nerf with this cards, imo, the stats were ok-ish for the cost..maybe reduce the damage to 1 in stead of two, and the health to 3 from 4, but this, this is to much

it's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new nerf...foooor meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...tn, tn, tnnnnnnn, tn, tn, tnnnnnnnnn.

yey :D

so a 1 mana 2/2 that cast a 2 mana Arcane Explosion when played...seams legit :D

I don't have anything against charity...but a third mage hero ? seriously ? why not a new shaman hero, or rather a druid, if it's about wild life and such...would seam much more appropriate

I wonder if the new format will also introduce separate rewards at seasons end for both modes, and different cards back for each mode ?
