Playing since season 1, and the only thing I bought was BRM (as I am too lazy to grind for it) - it's about 1200 RUB here in Russia or ~$24. I've got all the important cards I need (still not enough to play control warrior though). The highest rank I've got was Legend 254 EU this season, so yeah, this F2P system by Blizzard seems pretty legit.
P.S. - to all of you crying about your imaginative P2W - go learn to play and stop making newbies scared please.
But what are you going to do with control decks? You don't have enough power to shut your opponent down really fast. Moreover, at the early game your arcane explosions and missiles (maybe even thalnos) are basically useless and later in the game control heavy decks just won't let you do a thing as you don't have not only any kind of big threats in the deck, but you definetely have not enough ways to deal with your opponents threats, too.
Well, I missed something crucial, that is that opponent had Sludge Belcher on his board, and to hit face I had to hit Belcher first with other minions and this wouldn't happen until berserk finishes buffing himself.
So I have just lost a game as a Patron Warrior after a massive whirlwind due to this freaking long Frothing Berserker's animation. I had lethal this turn and I basically didn't have enough time to hit my opponent's face.
So here's a suggestion for blizzard - take that animation for EVERY bit of damage away from berserker, make this thing proc just once.

Edit: the main thing was that opponent had Sludge Belcher on the board so in order to hit face I had to hit taunt first which wouldn't happen until berserker's animation is over.
What a great deck mate! But I feel like Assassin's Blade is an absolute must here since oiling it up does wonders to your opponent's face! So I replaced 1 Shiv with it, basically it's just one more win condition.

Okay, so this deck is weird though it might work but man... 1 FIREBALL is just too much for me.
I would do this: - Healbot - 1 Soot Spewer + Fireball (!!!) + Dr.Balance keeping the core of the deck unchanged.
Still, 14 or 15 spells is way more than tempo mage needs.

Such threads always seem so sad like "please let me be your friend dude" T__T

Gotta edit my post.

I don't see any way to deal with those pesky MechMages as there are no Belchers in the decklist. How does he handle the aggression?
