Ever class but hunter is total garbage. Decks are missing key cars to make them work. My son 8 year old could have made decks than these without trying. Mage has no secrets or cards that sync. You have other decks that have no minions at all. It’s just stupid and another good reason these idiots need to be fired and hire a new team
Got to love making a post that has zero foul language, but calls out the stats of the game is in.
Made a post saying the game might as well have an AI auto play as there is zero interaction in the game now with how decks are. Neither person makes any moves but just mills through their decks till the have the winning card and it’s game over. And then I called the devs out that they have not made any major additions to the game other that BG which is a total mess as well. And when they do create new cards they are just over powered garbage with zero testing on their part.
apparently saying all that gave me a temp. Ban with no reason as to why cause there feelings got hurt.
The shaman Murloc cheating mana decks with suck. They can go through over half their deck by turn 7 and either have a full board or have what they need to play the minion that replies all battlescries and it’s just over.
mage having infinite turns does suck as I do play the deck myself and know it’s BS to do so.
Like OP stated these hyper aggro decks are no longer about strat it’s just how quick you can get to your win condition and GG.
All the quest are a major issue, as they were never meant to be completed by turn 5 like 90% of them are. These quest were meant to be finished by turn 9-10 at best. But you have warlocks, mages, druids and shamans having them done sometimes as early as turn 4 if they are really luck. But normally turn 5-6 they complete it and then just steam roll you without issue.
Not sure why anyone would waste time or money going to this dead event. The days are long past when blizz-con use to be the one event each year people would look forward to when it came to their e-sports big world tournaments. But with hearthstone totally gutted for e-sports, little interest in overwatch matches and WoW basically same re-hashed junk every exp.
There really isn’t anything to be excited about for blitz on anymore. The biggest announcement they will hav will probably be some stupid idea they come up with for Diablo 4. The rest will just be stuff they could post on a forum page that doesn’t amount to anything but an update/patch.
just like E3, blizz-con has fallen to the wayside after the pandemic and the people you see at these major events are people they paid to act in place of people cheering and excited.
I play strictly wild as I find standard boring and it’s just the same 2-3 decks every time. So for me wild is more enjoyable with a variety of decks to play against and is refreshing to me.
that being said, I am in agreement that the quest themselves are a big issue in hearthstone as a whole. There are no ways to counter these quest and wild has made them broken with how easy they are to complete. Many of these decks quest can be complete in less that 4 turns which was never meant to be intended, but in wild here we are. I’ve always believe there should actually be a legendary minion created that can actually break/destroy the quest if drawn and it being legendary means there is only 1 of its type. And while most will day that this is a broken concept and ruins decks, I don’t believe so since it’s 1 legendary card and is basically a tech card that is useless if the opponent isn’t playing quest. Add in that if your whole deck revolves around a quest then it’s already a stupid deck and should have multiple win conditions to being with.
But quest like Druid, Mage, and shaman have made wild more difficult due to the easy of these decks to complete and then the simple rotation of not doing anything as they just steam roll your face with no interaction. Mage just ice blocks/time warps over and over. (Reason bird was needed due to this fact), shaman drops 6, 1-2 cost battlecries and finishes quest by turn 4-5 and then just drops all major battles cries on turn 6-7 to win. Druid finished their quest by turn 5 and then gets their twig and guff on turn 6-7 and wins, while adding in the side quest for extra dmg. And if you want to add in warlock demon seed which is easy to also finish and they fatigue you down by 8 with no interaction and destroying your deck.
each of these were not intended to be able ti be finished by turn 5 in this game, but as someone else mentioned wild has made this an unreal fact which has hurt wild. Atleast decks like kings bane, big priest there are actually ways to deal with these decks and actual interaction. It’s the quest decks though prevent this from happening though and these is no way to prevent these quest from being completed which is where the issue lies.
Here is the deck list for my XL warlock. It’s been tweaked some with the E.C.T cards which you can pic which 3 tech cards you want to add based off when h decks are giving you trouble.

As an XL warlock, I have yet to loose to kings bane. 8/10 they just concede to me. I have sticky fingers to steal, and a card that stops all death rattles. So if they attempt to break their weapon it’s gone for good. So an easy taunt and that up keeps them from breaking it and I can steal it next turn.
The other card I play usually burns up 6 of there cards on turn 6, so if they haven’t gotten kings band yet it usually destroys it or removes a lot of there needed power up cards. Lastly I have big minions in the board that have to deal with as well and get them low enough that they can’t do much. To me this deck is all about pressure and forcing them to make hard choices on what to do.
Would be an interesting card if they had a 8-9 cost legendary card that reverted the enemy hero back to their normal character.
ex. Druid uses guff to transform do his hero power to gain mana like 2-3 times. Then player plays this 8 cost legendary and the Druid reverts back to his normal state and his hero power goes back to the normal Druid one.
think it would resolve some of those annoy legendary hero cards people have to deal with such as guff.
looks like the hotfix went into effect. just played a druid who tried to break is world tree weapon and got no 10 mana on turn 4. he instant conceded against me after lol. GG druids time to actually play the game instead of getting free 10 man on turn 4.
I would agree if it was just a meme deck that I lost to once or twice no big deal. But I’ve been seeing this deck pop up more and more recently. And watching a player on turn 4-5 be able to dig through their whole deck easily to draw what that need to win with zero interaction to defend is frustrating.
it’s like playing a curse lock. Curse has no real defense as the cards do dmg at the start of your turn and easily stack. My point is decks that allow no actual counter to defend against or cause the opponents combo to be disrupted is dumb.
any deck should no matter what should have an actual true counter to it, not well let’s just roll the dice and hope you don’t get matched up against it.
a decent card game has this, while yes bad matches up do happen, not to the point that it’s an instant loss or there is no card you could tech. In to stop a TKO. There should always be a weakness and if there isn’t, then they need to re-evaluate what’s going on. But this isn’t even to just wild, same can be said about standard and the problems it has. The fact this is a digital card game means they should be able to fix issues like this much quicker than a traditional card game you play IRL, but instead they don’t fix the issue or wait months before actually doing anything.
People complained about quest mage for a long time, even though there were plenty of easy counters to the quest itself and you could burn them down it’s aggro pretty quickly before they ever finished the quest or even kill them after it was finished.
but death rattle rogue is on another level of stupid. There is zero interaction or way to defend against it. They play 4 cards by turn 4 and game is over. It’s worse that big priest. They play a weapons card, a trigger card and then 2 minions. One of which makes the bomb card that deals 4 dmg. To the enemy hero cost 0 and can summon 2 additional copies. The deathrattle triggers their effect twice. By turn 4 they have a TKO with no possibility to stop it or defend. And even if you managed to survive it. They have 4-5 bombs that have 4-4 attack and will trigger upon death. So it’s GG.
Yes this deck has become more popular in wild after the recent mini exp. Was released and again no defense against it.
I actually couldn’t help but not laugh at this. I know there is those die hard hearthstone players that will rush to defend them any chance they get. But the match making in this game is hilarious.
made some random stupid control deck and faced nothing but other control decks in wild all day just messing around while also instantly getting sued for games. So I got bored and switched to my quest mage deck at random times and suddenly it takes 2-3 mins for the game to find an opponent and it’s always a rush deck after this happening 3-4 times, I swap back to my control deck and suddenly I’m getting inst. games again with other control deck, zero rush. Not even a secret mage or even shaman.
so again I test it and back to the same waiting 2-3 mins to find an opponent and bam you guessed it rush decks. 4-5 more games I swap back and it’s you guessed instant games.
I know there will be thoses that will say it’s not real that blizz. March making doesn’t suddenly match you against decks that can’t isn’t. Beat you and blah blah blah. But we all know they do, it’s more than likely picks out key cards and that’s how the system know who to match you against instead of it actually being random.
I was wondering myself how this was possible as I’ve come across some and have been reporting them. As this is an intentional exploit that is very much bannable.
