I would agree if it was just a meme deck that I lost to once or twice no big deal. But I’ve been seeing this deck pop up more and more recently. And watching a player on turn 4-5 be able to dig through their whole deck easily to draw what that need to win with zero interaction to defend is frustrating.
it’s like playing a curse lock. Curse has no real defense as the cards do dmg at the start of your turn and easily stack. My point is decks that allow no actual counter to defend against or cause the opponents combo to be disrupted is dumb.
any deck should no matter what should have an actual true counter to it, not well let’s just roll the dice and hope you don’t get matched up against it.
a decent card game has this, while yes bad matches up do happen, not to the point that it’s an instant loss or there is no card you could tech. In to stop a TKO. There should always be a weakness and if there isn’t, then they need to re-evaluate what’s going on. But this isn’t even to just wild, same can be said about standard and the problems it has. The fact this is a digital card game means they should be able to fix issues like this much quicker than a traditional card game you play IRL, but instead they don’t fix the issue or wait months before actually doing anything.
People complained about quest mage for a long time, even though there were plenty of easy counters to the quest itself and you could burn them down it’s aggro pretty quickly before they ever finished the quest or even kill them after it was finished.
but death rattle rogue is on another level of stupid. There is zero interaction or way to defend against it. They play 4 cards by turn 4 and game is over. It’s worse that big priest. They play a weapons card, a trigger card and then 2 minions. One of which makes the bomb card that deals 4 dmg. To the enemy hero cost 0 and can summon 2 additional copies. The deathrattle triggers their effect twice. By turn 4 they have a TKO with no possibility to stop it or defend. And even if you managed to survive it. They have 4-5 bombs that have 4-4 attack and will trigger upon death. So it’s GG.
Yes this deck has become more popular in wild after the recent mini exp. Was released and again no defense against it.
I actually couldn’t help but not laugh at this. I know there is those die hard hearthstone players that will rush to defend them any chance they get. But the match making in this game is hilarious.
made some random stupid control deck and faced nothing but other control decks in wild all day just messing around while also instantly getting sued for games. So I got bored and switched to my quest mage deck at random times and suddenly it takes 2-3 mins for the game to find an opponent and it’s always a rush deck after this happening 3-4 times, I swap back to my control deck and suddenly I’m getting inst. games again with other control deck, zero rush. Not even a secret mage or even shaman.
so again I test it and back to the same waiting 2-3 mins to find an opponent and bam you guessed it rush decks. 4-5 more games I swap back and it’s you guessed instant games.
I know there will be thoses that will say it’s not real that blizz. March making doesn’t suddenly match you against decks that can’t isn’t. Beat you and blah blah blah. But we all know they do, it’s more than likely picks out key cards and that’s how the system know who to match you against instead of it actually being random.
I was wondering myself how this was possible as I’ve come across some and have been reporting them. As this is an intentional exploit that is very much bannable.
Got to love when your opponent is about to get crushed, the game just suddenly says you have been disconnected from the match and can’t reconnect till the match suddenly ends with them taking the win.
and yes I’ve seen this happen in the past were people were doing this to climb to legend easily by causing matches to stall out so you couldn’t make a move on your turn ending with them winning the game.
this is almost S bad as the bots blizzard has added to the game in ranked for people to have to play against so they can boost there numbers to say they have xxx amount of players when half of them are bot accounts.
Frost and plague death knights both suck as i can easily beat them without trying. Bloo death knights are the ones that are OP atm. They have infinite health/life steal. Plus there minions that give them full board control while decreased there cost of mana to play them. Add in they are able to increase their own health cap as well and destroy mutliple cards in your deck x2 if they play it with brann.
Also one of their minions have the ability to bypass all effects and taunts as it auto attacks the lowest health enemy, basically making it a leathal kill if you play any minions that are higher than your hero's health. add that with the legendary they get that for the rest of the game does 3 dmg. to the enemy hero even after its been killed.
Yes i do believe alot of this new hero class will be nerfed hard as blood is currently the strongest hero of the 3 relics that this class has. Frost and plague i could see getting a few minors buffs to bring them to being to play. But Blood is the issue, but from watch the vids we all knew this was going to be an issue on release anyways,
Someone explain to me how a hunter can have 2 active ice trap secrets active at the same time. I just played a hunter that someone had 2 of the same secret on his character. I play one spell knowing he has one. Then when I play my next spell another suddenly activates cancelling out my 2nd spell as well.
He had a total of 5 secrets on his portrait, so I fig. It was 1 if those and 4 other different ones. Not 2 of the same secret which has always been against the rules of the game from a character from having 2 of the same secret active.
someone explain how this was even possible. And also there were no minions on the board that would replace or add another secret to him. As it cleared showed he had 5 total secrets active. Before I started trying to cast spells and suddenly 2 of them are the same dropping him down to 3
I accept any friend request myself, but pretty much go in it knowing the person is going to flame me due to them getting beat or calling the deck I’m playing toxic. Even though they themselves are playing a deck you could call toxic I guess.
My thought is, it’s a game someone has to loose. We all can’t be winners and just have fun playing it. But to friend someone jus to call them some racial slurs and just cuss me out then defriend me after your quick 2 txts is very childish and just helps make the community so bad from what it was 4-5 years ago. When I would get a friend request and we could talk about how well we both played and even play against each other some and such.
Does reporting players. Even do anything in this game since they launched the feature? Serious question cause I’m wondering if they actually take any kind of action against these players that are reported for abuse of chat when you accept a friends request and they talk crap.
These tavern brawls just get worse and worse every week. i remember when they use to actually be fun and good to play. now its jsut a bunch of dog crap random matches where you know your going to loose right at the start of the match with your cards. i've conceded more in this tavern brawl than even in last weeks. Literally getting 6-9 cost cards while the other person is getting a bunch of 1-2 cost cards so they keep board control and wipe me out.
Beyond this tavern brawl, the Team 5 since the days of ben brode running the show have literally ruined a really fun and good game with what they have turned it into. I see why so many people like myself are waiting for microsoft to take over and hopefully fire everyone in team 5 and start fresh with people who can actually run a game corerctly.
i play it when i get bored of wild for a change of pace. but i do agree, i feel gross sometimes when i play standard any time after i hit legend in wild. Atleast there is a huge variety of match ups in wild vs standard. And while yes there are some games that are big priest, its not as rampant as many try to make it out to be.
just seems like standard is basically every deck has the same win condition at the end of the match that is waiting to power it up for the win and thats it. Even the big tournaments for hearthstone standard has become boring with their matches up that i can only watch them for 30 mins before i turn it off due to the same decks being played with the same win conditions every match. Which is basically 1 card.
This meta is kind of boring to me. No real action to behold or crazy decks going head to head. Just really bland compared to previous exp. In the past.
Even watching the big tournaments this exp. I found no excitement or really energy behind any of it. Just kind of feels like people are going through the motions with no real critical thinking behind each move.

Nothing feels better than stealing a quest priest spell and killing them with there own quest at the end.
