In order to even consider playing shadowcaster, the copy it gives you has to be better than a card you can put in your deck. And none of the cards you listed seem strong enough to be worth holding for a turn 10 combo. Shadowcaster might fit in a deck where you put in a lot of the good targets naturally. But I don't expect it to be the defining part of that deck. More likely a solid flex choice.
This is actually where you are mistaken. The copy is better than a card you can put in your deck because A: you need to draw that card B: You now have 31 cards in your deck. I would personally never hold on to a 10 mana combo with that card, but rather play it on curve or turn 6 (which is on curve if you want to play the 1/1)
You can easily create a deck where you have a lot of good targets.
This card is interesting, but certainly not metagame defining. And definitely not in every rogue deck.
1. You need a minion on board to make it not a crappy 4/4 for 5. Which means you need to have board control (something rogue has certainly never been able to rely on), or, more likely, you need to play it on the same turn as the minion you want to copy. Which makes it rather slow.
2. It is directly comparable to azure drake. They both provide card advantage. The difference is, azure drake works whenever you play it, and gives you spell power, which makes the body much more threatening.
For this card to work, you need a very specific deck. I certainly like the design, but most people here seem to be vastly overestimating its power.
Dude. This card will be metadefining. You just have to consider what's gonna leave standart and what's gonna stay. It's not a stretch... the sheer amount of powerfull cards this one synergises with... you'd have to be blind not to see the meta shifting under the influence of shadowcaster. I'm no expert but in this case, you don't have to be.
Please... will people stop spelling standard with a 't' at the end. It doesn't make any sense.
And what powerful synergies? What card costs 5 or less mana that is game ending to have a 1/1 copy of? There are lots of things it is good with, sure. But you have to draw both cards. A 5 mana 4/4 that draws you a 1/1 is bad, a 5 mana 4/4 is awful.
And let's consider cards leaving standard. We lose antique healbot, a great target. We lose nerubian egg, a great target. And have we seen anything to suggest that minions are going to be better at staying on the board in standard? Nope, quite the opposite. The only board clear spell leaving is lightbomb. Meanwhile, we're losing all of the sticky minions from naxx.
I've analysed standard extensively, and I do not see how this card is going to possibly be metagame defining. But if you want to provide some more specific examples of where you think it will be powerful, feel free.

Basically I just change the picture of GvG pack to WoG since we cannot buy GvG anymore... or soon enough
