If ramp/ control druid will still be a thing, this card will see play. Its choose one effect provides enough bonus to be effective, given that if one values the 7/7 body at 6 mana, you're paying 4 mana to gain 10. The problem that I see is that Control/Ramp druid needs to be a thing.

DontFeedtheEmu posted a message on Kindly GrandmotherPosted in: Kindly GrandmotherSticky minions in Hearthstone almost always see play, this kind of stat line is better then the opposite, you want to token out first, buff trade get a real minion, could be very very annoying to play against.
This card is almost definitely getting play.
I think in both Face and Midrange Hunter.
Sticky minions is more of a Face Hunter staple.
Midrange hunter was so hard up for two drops it was running Doomsayer, so this card is in that deck no question. -

I prefer Loatheb for two reasons. It gives you a good play on turn 5 in most cases and it'll allow you to lock down the board. (Also I've been burned by too many juggles and Implosions to have the heart to add more RNG to the deck ;-;)

HoodedOne posted a message on Loetheb not as good now? With GvG coming soon.Posted in: General DiscussionWell you keep thinking that. And I keep laughing when my opponent is playing Loatheb.
btw. I just checked. I use him in 3 of the 9 decks I currently use.
And to not go totally off-topic.
I think Loatheb is still a decent minion to play in the new meta. He might get replaced for some new GvG card(s). There are some pretty good 5 drops in GvG. But after a while, he will be comming back (or not). :)

Scary-good card closest thing to a tutor they will EVER print

"Razor Rogue" needs to be a deck because it is simply the coolest deck name ever conceived.

Um, a 4/2 is strictly worse than a 3/3 when it costs an additional mana...

This card isn't going to be good because of Aviana, because Aviana is a shitty fucking card and havig synergy with one card doesn't magically make Aviana worth running.
This card however is good because of the armor option/flexibility, mostly. It's either an Ancient Shieldbearer for Ramp Druid when it needs to outlast an opponent and/or drop a fatty, or it allows them to play an additional 7/7 when dropping their Ysera or Alexstrasza or whatever, which can be huge.
I see this as comboing WAY better with Alexstrasza than Aviana, because Alex is a good card you can actually run and it sets up immediate lethal the following turn (opponent's life to 15, 8/8 from Alex, 7/7 from Kun, 1 attack from hero power makes 15.

This will be so much better than people are going to expect... This Aggro Paladin's best shot at ever being taken seriously. Beefy 1-drops and card-draw is what that deck needed.

I fully expect the flavor text to deal with The Cat in the Hat and if it doesn't then Blizzard has failed this card

This is a goddamn AMAZING card and people who think otherwise probably don't get hearthstone

Just out of curiosity, why no Emperor Thaurissan? It would seem an utterly fantastic fit for this deck. One turn of Emperor Thaurissan with *either* Fandral Staghelm or Wisps of the Old Gods, and you can play them both on the same turn. Have both in your hand it's only nine mana. That is SICK.
And I just mean, with a deck like this, with or without Fandral, it's often about playing a lot of those key spells on the same turn, and having the mana cost get cut down by Emperor Thaurissan is just another way (like Innervate) of increasing your resources and the number of spells you are able to play on any given turn.
It is difficult to cut a card in a deck like this, but I would consider removing one Feral Rage. Or perhaps one Nourish, or maybe even ditch Onyxia. You could go in a number of directions, but in my opinion this deck *needs* Emperor Thaurissan. It's the card that makes a deck like this shine, it's the sorta card you'd wanna Innervate out the MOST, really. I dunno. It just seems so natural a fit.

Honestly, I prefer to cut Ancient of War *and* Onyxia. I run Cenarius and Ragnaros, the Firelord in their place, which I think is FAR stronger for a number of reasons.
This list did convince me to remove one card which I am on the fence about, and that is Soul of the Forest. It can be a massive game-changing bomb, or it can sit in your hand doing fucking nothing all game. Obviously you'd only want one, but yeah. As many games as it feels like it has turned in my favor, I think that Feral Rage will win me even more in the long-run, it's already been extremely useless every time I have drawn it - more than I can say for Soul.
Now, I do run 2x Druid of the Claw in my deck. Because I think they are really fucking good and simply one of the most versatile and efficient 5-drops in the game. I use the Cat Form a lot, though, and most people are afraid to use the Cat Form and don't really understand the full power and versatility and strength of tempo that the card has, especially as a Charger, So many people go with Bear Form because it's simply easier and they feel like it's *always* a strong option, unlike Cat Form which is a strong option only in certain circumstances. Way too many players are either too stupid or too afraid to go with the right option in a great number of the circumstances, almost to the point where they just *always* use Bear Form and practically forget that Cat Form even exists.
A quick story on this - a week or 2 ago I played a Druid vs Druid match around rank 10, and it was a long game and neither of us was giving much, back and forth for at least 15 turns until we were both very low on life, and both of us in topdeck mode. I remember clearly - he was down to 5 life and the one armor he would gain from using Shapeshift, so 6 life total, and I was sitting at 4 life and 1 armor myself - 5 life total. I had a currently useless Mulch in my hand, and had drawn Emperor Thaurissan, and plunked it right down and I continued our trading a point of armor back and forth with Shapeshift but hoped this would be soon be game as he had nothing in his hand but what he was about to draw. He draws his card... and plays Druid of the Claw! For a second I was about to concede; after all, 4 points of charge damage + Shapeshift = Lethal. But of course, he had used Bear Form, not Cat Form, presumably just not thinking clearly. And obviously I mulched it and won the next turn, but not before he could concede. This is an extreme example but you see this stuff happening alllll the time.
There is a bit reason that you do NOT see any other 4/4 Charge minions for 5 mana, and that's because the Charge mechanic is busted as hell, and Blizzard knows this, and they do not like to print cards that Charge anymore because the tempo advantage is too huge. Combing DotC with Fandral Staghelm is one of the most busted-ass fun things in the entire game - what can I say? Maybe Raven Idol and Power of the Wild are even more busted with Fandral, but still. It's all fun and I think with all the aggro out there you're gonna want two of the best taunters in the game in your deck. Especially because they double as one of the best Chargers in the game when you happen to go up against a C'Thun deck or a Reno Jackson deck or whatever, which ain't exactly rare, even in this meta.
