An excellent argument against Patron warrior is that it directly defies Blizzard's stated policies in the past, when they nerfed Miracle Rogue. No matter how you feel about the matter, that's the fact. I think the concept is fine, activating Grim Patron itself is fun and interesting. I think changing Warsong Commander or Frothing Berserker is a better answer. Emperor Thaurissan is iffy... I like the card because it opens up many other combos, options, and gives a lot of flexibility to other classes. It usually doesn't survive for more than one turn, and actually requires certain cards in hand to be used to its maximum effectiveness.
Honestly, the problem is warsong commander, not emperor, not frothing, not grim patron. Warsong commander was a problem before and was already nerfed once because of it, and now it is again. This should prove that the card itself is cancerous when it continues to be such a huge problem after a nerf. Imagine if undertaker was still this prevalent and still this much of a problem after the nerf to it.
Forgive me as a relatively newer player, what was the Original Warsong Commander like? I have only seen the current version and had no idea it'd already been nerfed once.
But the more token generators you run in your deck, Lodi, silver hand valiant, murloc knight, and muster, the more value you get out of the inspire cards. Also, garrison commander plus maiden. It doesn't take a lot to get nutty.
Mostly true, but I DO agree with an earlier comment about Garrison Commander. I tested with him quite a bit in both decks and it just feels like the deckslot he occupies could be filled with something better. The ability to Hero power twice can be helpful but in MOST situations you can spend 4 mana in a better way. As for teaming GC and the Maiden, of course this is really great........when it happens......which as it turns out is not that often.
I too have made a deck similar to this one as well as a Totem Shaman and I gotta say with a Maiden in play the inspire mechanic becomes VERY valuable and VERY powerful. The ability to drop Mukula's Champ and Hero Power on turn 6 is REALLY REALLY nice! Not to mention the SICK value of Thunder Bluff Valiant and Hero Power also on turn 6 (in the Totem Shaman Deck). I realize that hoping for this may not be the most "consistent" of plays but it really is a lot of fun! I for one know that if I see a Maiden hit the board I kill her AT ALL COSTS! While these types of decks may not be the most consistent winners, they can snowball on you in a hurry.
No Light of Naru, Northshire Cleric, or Sunfury Protector....BUT Sunfury protector is a card that synergies well with this card and sort of factors in the riddle.
Edit: While I'm at it, could someone tell me how to link the cards golden? Really intrigued to do so. Thanks in advance!
[cardimg=gold.] [/cardimg], without the period and with the card name in between, this will show a picture of the golden card in the post, I don't know how to post just the name of the card in the post and when you point the mouse at it, it shows the golden version of the card. If anyone else can share how that's done, I too would like to know.
For Example Wisp but when you point at it, it shows the gold card.

I played once as each and won both games but I actually thought the Annoy was the better deck....at least for my playstyle

Many of the above posters are totally spot on about the time factor. However a tournament mode is pretty cool sounding and intriguing.

Ok guys here goes.....
I am not much touted for my offense, and this is widely known,
I'm just the Mona Lisa of Hearthstone.
I can work with others to help and keep you safe,
but when I am first played I don't much affect the board state.
For certain decks I cause no trouble,
But the deck that I am usually in will often call for double.
