Whenever these discussions come up, I've been known to dive in. However, I've not shared with you all the best pepper post of all. And that is this . . .
Every single thing Blizzard has done leads to the conclusion that payers have staggeringly more influence on the game than the f2p crowd. It never ceases to make me giggle that no matter how many "MOAR FREE SHIT!!!!" posts go up, Blizzard will continue to act like the publicly traded business it is and work to help the bottom line.
If you have a constructive idea, you might get listened to (Whizbang is a great example). If you're bitching and threatening to quit a game you don't pay into anyway, you have absolutely zero sway over the financial decisions being made. As it always has been, so should it be.

Very simple and straight forward card. The idea is that you practice and train your own class by playing cards of that class, and you're rewarded with an upgraded hero power. The upgraded Hero Power is the same as the one from Baku/Justicar.
You don't need to specifically tailor your deck to this quest, but the reward is also less game-changing compare to other quests. The only draw back here is 1 less useful starting hand.
Update: Corrected the Watermark (Un'goro expansion for Quest), also updated the fonts to follow existing example of Hearthstone. E.g Burgle

"All is fair in love and... cards?"
How It Works
Let's say you play this card and end up with 5 cards in your hand while there are 7 in your opponent's hand. All of those cards will get shuffled into each player's respective deck. Then you will draw one more than what was originally had, meaning you would draw 6 cards and your opponent would draw 8. This card does not count toward your card count. If you have a hand of 3 cards that includes Fair is Fair!, your hand will count as 2 and will end up drawing 3 cards.
What It Could Be Used For
This is a simple card that could have a lot of applications underneath it's plain exterior. First of all, it's neutral card draw. Even if your opponent gets an extra card too, you'll still have an extra card you didn't have at your disposal. Second of all, it's a good way to reset your hand. Did you start turn 1 with all 8-drops? This can reset your card hand and give you something new to start out with! Also, this can break your opponents combos. If you think they have Shudderwock in their hand, it would be a good time to play this card and delay your opponent from playing their win-condition! One final niche way to use this card is to mill your opponent. If they have 10 cards, make them draw a brand new hand and mill the 11th card they draw!

Therazane, the Earthmother
, is quite a whopper of an independent female elemental demigod avatar, so she also has quite an impact on both player's resource supply. (

)
Mechanicwise you always spend your opponent's Mana Crystals first. If your opponent has e.g. 10 full Mana Crystals, you just pay 2 of your own to play
Therazane
. So normally the earliest she can be played is turn 6, if your opponent doesn't do anything with their Mana, which is pretty rare. Her
Overload
can be useful to stall the game or counter combo plays
(e.g. if you know that
Mecha'thun
is comming next turn). If she gets Grumbled, her stone belly can rock the battlefield multiple turns delaying your opponent even more (or even lock both players for all 10 Mana Crystals). Your opponent's Mana Crystals will be available again sooner than yours but the tempo of a cheap 8/8 and being able to plan for your
Overloaded
turn should be a worth compensation.
Therazane
pushes
Snowfury Giant
's
playability a lot for a strong late game (but only reduces its Cost by (5) since this is what
you
get
Overloaded
for). With all that she might find a comfortable place in a Control Shaman deck.
When you catch your opponent leaving you enough Mana open, a combo could be:
(2x Fire Plume Harbinger )
Therazane -> Grumble, Worldshaker -> Therazane + 2x Snowfury Giant
Now your opponent is locked for an entire turn and you have a massive board of big Elementals.
(If you can squeeze in a
Lava Shock
,
Eternal Sentinel
or
Spirit Echo
even better.)

Just for clarification, the effect makes it so that you are guaranteed to always draw cards with a Cost equal to your current maximum Mana Crystals, spending some of your mana before drawing will not change the cards you'll draw. In other words, you'll always topdeck a minion to play on a perfect mana curve. If there are no cards matching your maximum mana in your deck, you'll draw a random card as you usually would.
The card is obviously not meant to be competitive, but it'd probably help meme decks made of 30 (Or 35, if you're playing Prince Malchezaar ) Legendaries to be just a little bit better. Not even close to competitive, of course.
Still it has its own disadvantages too: You could only use Legendary minions . Spells, Weapons and Hero Cards would not be allowed. Plus, Rezan itself is a 7 mana 5/5. That means that your "perfect" draws might slow down once you reach 7 mana, as you might draw an awful minion.
I didn't focus on balancing the card, I preferred to focus on making it fun (in my opinion, at least).

I think it is a bit overpowered but in Standard you really don't have that much AoE spells that don't heal so i don't know. Priest should have a Staff-like weapon :D

"Death by a thousand cuts", really? Come on, Blizzard. I guess at least the very active players such as all of us browsing a hearthstone forum would love to get more statistical insights. I mean, they are collecting the data anyway, why lock it away?
If they choose not to include it in-game (which they apparently wont), why not provide the data as .csv, .sql, .xls or whatever as a download in our battle.net account or on the webpage. As I know the community, somebody would write a nice little program to mine all this data, probably even better than Blizz would.
Just like a deck tracker, the community would find a way to leverage all the data and make good use of it.

Twig of the World Tree can enable it.

Rush seems to be a healthy mechanic, I did not like cheap minions charging face.
I would love to change the keyword for all non-legendary charge minions to "rush", making King Krush, Leeroy Jenkins and Grommash Hellscream truly unique.
What do you think?

I think s too, Ben Brode. Terrible acting performance, but I have to confess, I am somewhat hyped for the new expansion.

Being a social scientist who works data driven as well. I have my problems with calling the data gathered a PROOF. For me, your data collected provides some evidence that there indeed may be a strange interaction between how you tech your deck and who you are being matched against.
Of course, having more data points is always nice to have, especially when taking additional variables like time of the day etc. into account. In my opinion, the biggest flaw of OP's design lies in his way of gathering the data itself, as conceding over and over is not the normal way the game is played. Thus, the results might be biased through the unobserved variable of MMR for notorious losers. It makes sense for Blizzard, in order to keep those people hooked, to give them easier matchups to boost their motivation.
In a perfect world, the player base should gather and play the game in a normal way. I also like the coin toss idea of the poster with the video, as it might get rid of the time bias. Gathering the data across multiple players, servers and time zones should then reveal the real problem, if there is any.
