I actually enjoyed the one where the picked cards got added to your deck. That was quite fun. I think we had it a bit before KoC

HyperOrange posted a message on The Enrage Keyword is Being Removed From HearthstonePosted in: NewsThis is sad, I always thought Enrage would have its moment to shine in the future. The mechanic has potential and it is a theme I've developed while creating cards. Here are some of them:
Enrage doesn't have to be used only to gain Attack so it can be a lot more flexible. Honestly the flavor alone should be enough to keep this keyword in the game.

Horkinger posted a message on Proof KFT is ruining HearthstonePosted in: General Deck BuildingRank 20-7. Hardest matchup is against tempo Rogue when they draw Keleseth early and I do not.
The point of the post is that KFT neutrals are so insane that it has destroyed the "class" mentality of HS. When HS started, class cards were always more powerful, which encouraged different builds and variety across classes. I can't even imagine having been successful with an all-neutral deck a year ago. Now, real class decks are limited to a couple single narrow combos (razakus priest, jade druid) and everyone else is running the same tempo/zoo deck with a few class cards sprinkled in.
Then try your deck with hunter or warrior and not with the class that has a hero power specifically to make a zoo deck work.Edit: To be more clear what my Point is: Zoo decks always worked with warlock and they are some sort of class identity. And zoo decks have a lot of replaceable minions. I guess this deck can also be improved by adding Flame Imp maybe Despicable Dreadlord or Doomguard. If the same deck works with hunter or warrior then you have a point. -

Kovachut posted a message on Dragon SoulPosted in: Dragon Soulit is bad, just read the text - it reads loose 3 mana of tempo, put an ooze in your opponents opening hand, summon salty tears.
Dude, is this how you only look at this card? As a plain weapon, with no stats, no board impact and thus "bad"????Cards aren't observed by their own, in a vacuum, there used as a part of something bigger. You don't include Dragon Soul for no reason in your deck waiting to get you some benefit out of it. This card has a strong, strong synergy in a miracle deck with a lot of cheap spells and another win-condition (the Inner Fire combo). This just works so well, when you cycle your cards - now you get extra bodies. So you not just cycle, the draw cards are also converted into proactive bodies.Look at QR (before the nerfs) - people spat at that quest, because it were "clunky, hard to complete", the deck consisted of many cheap bad stated minions. But what happened in the first days of the expansion? That deck dominated a lot, because people figured out how busted the quest was, how easy was to complete and most importantly how rewarding it was, people realized how wrong there were about it.Of course you don't play this blindly on turn 3 - only if you don't have other good plays. But for miracle priest you have minions, which you can play at that turn - e.g. talon priest/Acolyte of Pain on curve. About the ooze argument - big whoop. If this tech becomes popular, then the priest player will hold onto the weapon, it's not like it's super expensive or something like that, they can easily chain some spells and get value out of it. But even if it's destroyed, then you always have your primal win-condition in your deck (the one I mentioned earlier). If you build your deck only around one card, then of course it will collapse. But this weapon just has great synergy with the miracle style deck.Or tell me, if this weapon is really bad, then what weapons are actually the strong and powerful ones in your opinion? -

RavenSunHP posted a message on Idea every hero has a choice of 2 hero powersPosted in: General DiscussionThe concept is cool.
It could be a new Start of Game effect, based on conditional deckbuilding.
Additionally, it could be delivered as a Discover, much like Sir Finley Mrrgglton.
Or having a fixed subset of Discovery, based on old Gadgetzan factions, for consistency, but also for balance purposes. That way, one could choose to stick with their hero power if they think it is better.
The conditional deckbuilding should be set on the basis of the reward. If balance is an issue, a selection based on current Hero Powers would grant the effect to be overall balanced.
In that case, the deckbuilding condition should be weaker than Odd/Even, since the reward does not give you Tempo, just versatility.
It could be the latest addition to Highlander decks.

LastMann posted a message on Harrison Jones = Indiana JonesPosted in: Card DiscussionWhat an idiot. The card is a reference to Pawn Stars’ Rick HARRISON, who’s most famous purchases include antique weapons and armor (see the cards effects). What’s more, Rick often suggests donating antique items to public museums, a clear and obvious throwback to the “that belongs in a museum!” line you mistakenly attribute to this Indiana Jones, whoever the hell that is.

Oh look, it is a mage Wing Blast with elementals instead of killing, how original.

I play all 9 classes, favorites change time to time, but I general dislike aggro.

We're gonna be rich!
at least in wild...

without nerf, we will see a lot of suicide beasts the following weeks.

easy win at the most boring brawl ever

Letting flying creatures attack over taunt should do the trick.

10-15 minions is an exaggeration.
play dirty rat and brann when they melon and you have a fair chance to win.

no. unless you do not plan to open more packs.

I thought I were the only one doing that. Let's hope for magic girlfriend's / wife's hands, this time I want more than the absolute minimum of legendaries from my packs.
