so what’s the resolution of spammy arcanist against wax rager? Just played a game where spammy arcanist did not remove my wax ragers. Did blizzard change the number of procs? It just seems inconsistent
Yea I used to see legend players as hardcore gamers, but now I think it can be achieved by spending a little effort understanding the meta and of course couple hours to play a few games a day. And to not tilt too hard haha
The journey to Legend was quite interesting for me I made several card changes and playstyle changes along the way when I found myself losing against certain decks often (Eg. going more aggro against priest). It made achieving legend quite a satisfying achievement.
I think with the changes to ranked, Blizzard is trying to make the experience a bit more accessible, which is in the good direction. Not sure if I will attempt Legend again but if the meta shakes up and there's a new deck I fancy, Ill give it a go.
Ive been playing HS since the Old Gods expansion, and this is the first season that Ive played seriously and hit Legend for the first time (thanks partially to the demon hunter class and how enjoyable it is to play).
Currently sitting around 15000 legend. For the experienced players who hit legend multiple times, does the new rank system make it easier to hit Legend? Also what are the stats on how many people hit legend every season?
I guess Stargazer Luna had a similar effect? It felt good when it went off, but it did have a randomness feel to it. Outcast on the other hand rewards more for deckbuilding with low mana curve, also helps that some of the outcast cards help to draw cards to refill. And it also takes skill to know when to forgo the outcast benefit and play the card for less value but more tempo

Let the RNG begin!

Shaman and hunter are some of the poorest classes to ladder with. Pick a aggro rogue and stick with it, at least games will end fast

Good luck to those climbing the ladder!

Please elaborate, is it due to the current meta/ lesser no. of stars required? Or is it the quality of opponents?
I have never bothered getting past rank 5 in the old system, it just felt too grindy.
I actually enjoyed playing DH this season, I guess the additional rewards were also incentive.
