I for one am totally fine not running into any evo shamans in a while. As a mage main i can appreciate a LITTLE rng. However, when your whole deck revolves around stupid doppleshit + evolve + pray I have zero patience for you.

Kovachut posted a message on Shaman lives matter?Posted in: ShamanI also hate that random part the devs implemented in the shaman class. Instead of adding some control tools or maybe some early- or mid-game minions for the mid-range decks, they "support" the retarded evolve mechanic. And I can't stand the RNG clown fiesta the honorable shaman class turned into. And I'm not saying this as a player who lost some games to that deck and now is talking trash, but I main-ed that class and I main-ed the jade elemental deck back in Un'goro and it hurts me saying all of this. I especially hate that DK, because in other classes the Deathknights answered the weaknesses they had and additionally they also had amazing effects - Anduin - reach + clear, Guldan- sustain + board presence and control etc etc. The shaman DK one, although a cheap one - doesn't help the class at all, it was yet again another win-more card with an even more RNG put into it. Instead of an AoE, draw or board presence effect, they put a one, which only converts your existing minions into probably greater ones. And paradoxically we saw a lot of expensive cards with bad stats in this expansion, which also countered the evolve mechanic. No f*cking shit the shaman class is suffering, when everything around it is just a dice-roll. -

Billie_Lurk posted a message on Yong Woo Leaves Blizzard - Joins Ben Brode at Second DinnerPosted in: NewsIt's interesting reading through some of these comments. People simultaneously crap on Hearthstone while being excited for an unknown project from the people who.. worked on/ made Hearthstone? It's odd. Hearthstone is in amazing spot right now. Some of you need to just move on if you are so unhappy.

xxsxextxhxx posted a message on Juicy PsychmelonPosted in: Juicy PsychmelonThat is terrifying, I looked at the votes and thought, "golly that is alot of meta defining votes for such a specific draw tool for the druid that already had the best natural draw engine in the game. then i saw this image. That deck is going to be nigh unstopable along with maligoose druid. thank goodness in wild we have both dirty rat and the deathlord to mess with this.

OverholtNA posted a message on Shaman lives matter?Posted in: ShamanYou think it's bad now? Wait until the rotation. Maelstrom Portal, Aya Blackpaw, Jade Claws, Jade Lightning, Devolve, Doppelgangster, Evolve, Thing from Below, and Flamewreathed Faceless go bye bye. That's like, half of every mildly competitive Shaman deck. But at least we'll still have half-supported freeze and totem archetypes!
Though on a less cynical note, I really do think overload has some incredibly powerful cards and the spellstone is absurd when you pull it off. Grumble is a badass card as well. With any luck, having Raza and Jade cycle out may actually allow other control decks to sprout up, and Shaman has some fantastic tools for that.

This is the most hilarious post I've seen on these boards. We're here to discuss cards in a video game, being offended over a political subject which was never stated and which is frankly only in your head, does not give you any special rights. You're in the wrong place. On topic: Shaman received very little from KoFT in terms of competitive play (besides the DK), and KaC hasn't been too good to it either. It has traditionally been a very solid class (remember the "Shamanstone" meta?)...but I think now they'll be in hibernation until April's rotation. Maybe a sleeper deck will arise in the next few weeks, but I can't see it.They're still going large in Wild though, lots of Aggro Shamans from Rank 5+. -

Poodris posted a message on Shaman lives matter?Posted in: ShamanClasses like shaman, priest and warlock that are so dependent on expansions will always be feast or famine. They can't just give Superior cards to these classes every expansion to make up for bad evergreen tools, so they will always either be dominating or totally unplayable.
Blizzard seems to be thinking that nerfing all the good evergreens will fix this, but it's just going to create more classes that have no real identity and whose success relies on getting some broken gimmick every expansion

Bigbando posted a message on Shaman lives matter?Posted in: ShamanHello everyone,
I wanted to ask for over opinions on the topic of the current state of the Shamen class. Most of you probably know how the class has been on a decline ever since One Night in Karazhan (a decline that is well deserved considering how it dominated that meta) however, the Shaman class isn't what you would call "playable" right now. It's pretty much the Priest of 2016 in 2017 (it's interesting when you consider that Priest is on top now).
If we are all honest for a moment, we all know why the Shaman class is this bad currently, especially when we think about Freeze Shaman.I mean it was a funny meme at the time but it highlights a problem in Blizzard's card design. They haven't been getting a clear theme to follow, unlike the other classes. We got a bit of Murlocs followed up by not enough support, we got a bit of Elementals followed up by not enough support, we got an entire expansion with a weak theme that sports horribly underpowered cards that didn't even get any support this expansion and now we got Totems. Will there be enough support for any of these themes in the future? Hopefully but that's where I'de like to hear your opinions. Is this healthy for the game or not?
(I'de also like to add that if you see errors in my use of English that make you cringe or upset, I'm sorry and I hope you can look over them as it's not my first language and I'm still learning it.)

Warnerve75 posted a message on How BIG is HearthstonePosted in: General DiscussionQuote from KingSevault >>Hearthstone earned over twice as much money as any other card game in 2016. It's utterly dominant
Simple is the majority of the world IQ dude. That's why chess is chess and candyland is candyland. Hearthstone is candyland and mtg is chess. You make far more money selling to a larger audience than you do a niche market. Why does it need to be complicated, do you tell people you are a legend hearthstone player to impress them or something? Sorry but being a great candyland player is really a joke, - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I have been creating a miracle rogue list and due to dust limits, I have to decide between crafting Edwin and Valeera DK, (I will add both eventually).
Any Suggestions?

Hello everyone, I'd like to talk about something other than Hearthstone for a second as I would like to get the word out to as many people as possible. The thing in question is Net Neutrality. While most of you probably already know about this, I want everyone to know what is going on. Net Neutrality is part of a series of bills that guarantee you free access to the internet, without your internet provider limiting your internet speed or the sites you can access. This seems like a extremely reasonable and just law, right? However the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) wants to repeal a series of laws that guarantee these freedoms. What this effectively does is allow your internet provider to start charging you additional money to use websites, and outright block others. For example, if you wanted to learn more about Hearthstone you might watch a youtube video, or go on Twitch and watch someone stream, except now you have to pay for a 10$ entertainment package to be able to use these sites every month. Oh, and reading the news and currents events will also be locked away.
As you can see, this problem effects everyone, and we need to let our voices be heard. Sorry for the rant, but I want to look after our Hearthpwn community and not pay $15 for a video games package.

Besides the cardback from beating the dungeon with every class, there are no rewards outside of the dungeon run. This feels really lame, especially when you consider that Blizzard's net worth is $14.746 billion. I understand that dungeon runs are a free PVE experience, but a lack of rewards disincentives people from playing and lowers the replay-ability of them. I would suggest having a small entrance fee (maybe 20 or so gold) each time, but significant rewards if you are successful including maybe keeping your deck from the dungeon run (probably means fewer legends), arcane dust, packs and gold. This would provide an opportunity for skilled players to be rewarded for the time they have spent mastering the game.
Basically, what I’m proposing is an option similar to the old arena and an alternative the current arena which is just who drafts more BS cards (I'm looking at you Bonemare). Does this seem like a good idea? Feel free to critique and comment.

I think a reasonable buff to this card would to give it +1/+1 (so a 3 mana 3/4), your charge minions have +1 attack, and your taunt minions have +1 health.
Feel free to leave suggestions.

This card needs to be better, I mean its Illidan for f**** sake.
