Like posted before, the damage comes from the minion and not your spell. Nice to know for stuff like Snowchugger, Water Elemental, Pit Snake, Emperor Cobra and Maexxna, since their effect trigger aswell.

RavenSunHP posted a message on The last days of Tundra Rhino?Posted in: General DiscussionRhino has always been a combo burst card.
But I can't see any real OTK happening, unless the opponent is sleeping or very unlucky, that is.
OTK is not a problem, until it is too easy to pull out, while also normally playing with the board.
So, I think Rhino is no big deal. It costs 5 on its own, other good combos are also costly. Basically, it's a slow card.
If they let some shenanigans happen, it's their fault, not Rhino bein OP in any way.Tundra Rhino will stay.

RavenSunHP posted a message on Fatigue and HS interfacePosted in: General DiscussionToying a bit with with Mill Rogue, I have found HS interface lacks some key features for fatigue mode. I am not sure whether something similar had already been pointed out in the past. Here's what I'd like to see implemented in HS interface.
- hand counter: it would be nice to have somewhere a counter for cards currently in your hand. Keeping the count on your own to avoid getting over 10 steals away tons of seconds that should rather be spent in concocting some strategy. And deep control/fatigue decks NEED strategy and time to think.
- fatigue damage counter(2x): it would also be nice if a damage counter appeared for each player once they enter fatigue mode, that warns both about the damage they are going to take for the next 2 empty draws. A double number like 6/7 above the empty deck would already be a lot.
- faster fatigue animations: in particular for multiple fatigue damage. It is just boring to wait for sequence of animations.
Although fatigue players aren't many, I think my suggestions (or other solutions to the same problems) are fair, and just as good for any player, including fatigue victims.
These features could then be optional for players to activate or not in their interface, if they prefer not to see ugly numbers.

feellazy posted a message on My issue with one person.Posted in: General DiscussionI want to see the moderator stop locking every thread on a forum, which heavily prevents discussion to happen. A forum is ultimately there for a discourse space to be created.
Locking every thread just because it is similar or was made a while back, does not justify locking the thread - and you're slowly killing this website by doing so.
Hearthpwn has a relatively high traffic and that means that new users will join often too. You can't expect every new user, or every user for that matter, to search for a thread that is similar to their topic of discussion before each thread to be created. Primarily because it's difficult to find the exact same topic as yours. The content may be similar (at best), but the thread title may be completely different. Secondly, this isn't North Korea. Let the users discuss the subject without locking and controlling everything going on here.
Just look at the pages of threads and just see how many are locked. Just in 2 pages, 17 threads are locked by one person. Seriously, dude.

I agree, especially about blizzard pushing archetypes. A good way to push a deck is Hobgoblin

But you don't have any down votes? Am I missing something?

I think warrior is one of the best designed classes. They always have the most decks because their classic cards support a large variety of classes. And because an aggro warrior runs different things than a control or fatigue warrior, the games feel different (unlike shamman; even though they also have many viable decks they all play trogg golem lighting bolt feral spirit 4 mana 7/7). The only problems I have with the class are that its boring in mirrors but that is due to Justicar and she is rotating out.

Posting a YouTube video and providing no content or discussion qualifies as 'news' these days, it seems.

Hey your experinces are what are known as 'anecdotal' evidence. Anecdotal evidnce is evidence observed from somebody's personal experience.
This kind of 'evidnce' is good for starting experiments and trying to find out why you observed what you observed.
Anecdotes are useless otherwise. They can't be used in experiments and they can't be used in debates. They are not hard evidence. The only other place anecdotes are seen are in courtrooms, and even then a fingerprint is worth a thousand eyewitnesses.
So, if you think pack opening is rigged due to your experience, thats a good reason to start an experiemnt. But these experiences are not your experiment, or your conclusion.

In any game at all, the most frustrating thing for me is when a game wastes my time.
Anyone who played the last part of The Witness knows what I mean.
So, even though I despise arggo warrior and shaman, I still wouldn't want to waste their time (or my own). Its just so frustrating and leaves no one happy. An Eye for an Eye leaves everybody blind.

This looks like a fun deck but... what exactly is the OTK?
I'm Confused! XD

When I first saw your cards, I thought you were a troll. However, it has become clear to me that you genuinely put effort and thought into them. So I think that I should give you my thoughts.
Your cards are terrible.
But this does not mean you should stop making more. You should take what people say and use it to improve. With that in mind:
1) Spelling: You need to spell things correctly because no body will take you seriously otherwise, even if your cards are the best cards ever.
2) Learn from others: take some time to browse the fan creations forum. The winners of the card design competition are especially good examples.
3) Don't report people who have genuine criticisms. This doesn't make people want to help you.
4) Don't give up.
