Just wanted to put it out there since watching Trump doing numerous arena runs over the last week or so (I've watched about 20 different runs in full via youtube) my own arena game has picked up enormously.
I sucked at arena. Card choices, play choices, you name it.
I'm currently averaging 7.5 arena wins over my last 4 arena runs which I'm really happy about because it's now funding my future arena runs whereas before it wasn't.
I guess the purpose of this thread is to acknowledge all those super arena players out there that have helped out your own game and helped you to get better.
I find that grove tender is very powerful and something you dont want to run a 1 of. I also have a love/hate relationship with starfire in this deck.
Generally, you're forced to use it as removal, which leaves you behind versus control. I have died by one turn of fatigue to control a couple of times running double starfire, which makes me want to run a max of one.
Dancing swords is pretty good. I like it as an anti-aggro threat better than deathlord (which just loses games I find). I do find its kinda worthless versus paladin and warrior.
spot on why they're in the deck (swords) because deathlord drops a minion where as this just draws a card. It's like a stealthy mill card :)
I was running 2 grover tenders, but found that I was drawing too many cards in combo with wrath and coldlight, so threw a second sword in there. I've found it's working quite well.
my favorite would be the priest legend. looks good, but doesnt really fit with the priest MO. maybe heal 2 health to 2 random allies at the end of your turn, or +1 or 2 health to 2 random allies at the end of the your turn?

i would totally agree with your first choice. the lulz would be huge if you did turn 6 and 7 hogger (or coin 5 and then 6)...

how bad were the other cards for you to choose hogger once, let alone twice?

Just got my first 10 run, with a Priest. Pretty stoked,

what's the deck list on the side and how do you get it?

I think that's why I've improved. He is very informative as to his thought process and card selection etc.
