I've beaten highlander hunters with this but sure.. some people are just not meant to play these kind of decks I suppose. Can't really call the deck a joke when other people are finding success with it as well
that's mainly why I stated multiple times to get greedy with removal, you'll need all of it and get max value. When I first started messing with this deck I had a 40%wr at rank 9. After a couple days I finally got the hang of it and went straight back to rank 5. If you enjoy this playstyle, don't give up and learn from your games! Try and do things different until they work. Ofc everyone has a different style, if you're not used to combo/control it'll be harder.
I used sunfury protector in mine to also taunt up the undatakah before giving it lifesteal, so opponents can't just go face and you guarantee a board clear. It also keeps the enchantment, just like the lifesteal
they're both very different.. gral is very slow and will low-roll quite often, while filling your hand and putting yourself into fatigue is a way better effect in this deck.
If that's really all you're facing, getting rid of jepetto for a fan seems fine. Although, maybe you just have to change the way you pilot the deck, getting a lot of use out of carpets, lackeys and zilliax to win against those decks instead of pogo's. I could take a look at some games to see if you could've done anything different if you think that can help
Nothing really replaces barista, it has such a unique effect and is way more flexible, and can be played in the early game. Tak is way greedier and more late-game. I'd add in some draw (like fan of knives) or an SI-agent instead, until you can afford barista. Fun fact: according to the hsreplay stats of this deck, barista has the highest played winrate!
it's explained in the video! I rather play cards like carpet etc that deal with their boards rather than play fan that's only good with prep, which is not as good anymore.. otherwise it's too slow for just cycle and too situational to be good removal.
Jepetto has such an unique effect, it's hard to find a good replacement. But if you have Tak I'd give that a go, that's what I used to experiment with before. It makes the control matchups even easier but the aggro matchups sometimes a bit slower. If you manage to pull off a tak against aggro you just straight up win tho.

replacing it with tak seems fine, is just a bit slower vs aggro but definitely a viable switch.

haha glad to hear you're enjoying it. Carpet is definitely underrated!

SI-agent is a decent replacement
