posted a message on I won t buy this expansion!

Devs have publicly admitted they refuse to print cards with lots of text. It is impossible to get very interesting gameplay effects when they are purposely trying to dumb-down the game. My guess for making their target market elementary school aged children, is that dumb kids are who waste the most money on a free game because they have nothing better to spend their allowance on. Not only do we have to suffer with a one-dimensional game without any strategic depth or interesting deck building... the card art itself for awhile now has been low quality, being cartoonishly goofy looking characters and lack any great details. I remember towards the beginning of the game I would look up full size photos of the card art because it was so epic with many small things to see in the background, but now there is no reason to, with it looking amateurish for either appealing to little kids or because they cut costs by hiring cheaper artists.  And now starting the process of removing all the sex and violence is just one more straw on the camel's back that will kill the potential this game had to be great, turning hearthstone into a cheap mobile game for nose picking booger eaters.

Typical forum fanboys making every excuse for b.s. decisions. Yes, card art is absolutely a reason people play this game. If the card art started out as cartoonishly ugly, or the characters were of cutesy stuffed animals, then this game would never have become nearly as popular, regardless of "the gameplay mechanics being exactly the same." The theme of a game is just as, if not more important than the gameplay itself. Blizzard changing the game from what people originally paid for, is absolutely a legit reason for people to be upset the direction the game has already gone, and will continue to go in if nobody speaks up. It is like if someone painted the color of your car or house to something childish and ugly, and then the fanboys brainlessly say, well your car and house still function the same as before, so we just can't comprehend why you don't just bend over and enjoy getting screwed like us fanboys do.

Yes actually, it is called going to fatigue, when you don't care at all about damaging the other opponent and just remove all their minions. A strange concept I know for all you face players that can't stand a game lasting longer than turn 4.

Apparently WOW is so stupid it has two of everything though. Really looking forward to the Wild wild west expansion with even more skeletons, the 1960s expansion with even more zombies, the outer space expansion with more ghosts, and The Colonial settlers expansion with more witches.

And the more and more hearthstone expansions that come out, the less and less interested I am in learning about the backstory of this ridiculous world that has as much continuity as the disneyland themepark. I know at one point it was originally medieval fantasy themed of orcs versus humans. Now they added Robots, Dinosaurs, The Beauty and the Beast enchanted mansion, the 1920s. The only connecting theme between all these random periods in time are the Halloween characters thrown in there. RAMBLING STORIES FROM A CRACKHEAD

"Orca" so like literally jumping the shark. I wouldn't call it lore at this point, more like rambling stories from of a crack head.

I always thought warcraft was supposed to be medieval fantasy themed. Now it is just some random period in time mixed with halloween characters. I wouldn't be surprised if a future expansion is in outer space (with aliens as ghosts of course)

Probably because they purposely want to keep the game dumbed-down as much as possible since dumb kids are who waste the most money on an entirely free game. Control warrior dead, Control Paladin dead, Control Priest dead. Strong defensive decks that go along with the pacifist light theme of the priest would make the game too complicated for the little kids that only know how to think one dimensionally of attacking by either spamming the board with minions or direct face damage. This has been reduced to a mobile game designed to last no longer than it takes to sit on the toilet.

It is not "for sure."  Zombies are played out in pop culture. It is even a dumb goofy joke zombie that cant even take off his casket properly.

So disappointing that this expansion is Halloween themed... again. We already had naxramus that was Halloween, plus the haunted house karazan, the infested zombie creatures in old gods, the cursed mummies from league of explorers, and the vampire deathknights from frozen throne. I don't play world of warcraft, but I'd imagine the worlds are more diverse than what we've been getting.

I doubt it will be consistent enough for that one specific mediocre effect to be worth it. I don't see big priest being that strong without barnes and yshaarj.

As someone who plays quest priest constantly, this card is not that great. So don't worry about it. You usually want lots of cheap deathrattles that can be played alongside with Amara when topdecking against aggro. It's not going to be anything close to resembling how annoying Big Priest is to play against because there are not that many sticky deathrattles like Hunter has access to, in order to rely on making a gameplan around overwhelming midrange tempo.

Plenty of health to play Temporus when you're at 40, and you really only need an otk against weapon rogue, against every other class you can win with value and/or fatigue
