Manuelo46 posted a message on is Zilliax Tier S ??Posted in: Card DiscussionThe card has it all!
3 guaranteed heal
3 guaranteed damage to a minion
and leaves a taunt on the board that can potentially heal for 3 more!
And just as an extra spice, it can be used as a buff on mechs!
Imagine a neutral spell that would read:
5 mana:
Choose One -
Deal 3 damage to a minion. Restore 3 Health. Summon a 3/2 with Taunt and Lifesteal;
or give a friendly Mech+3/+2, Taunt, Lifesteal, Rush and Divine Shield.
Everyone would run it!

Bogia posted a message on Harbinger CelestiaPosted in: Harbinger CelestiaThe strength in this card isn't going to be getting a copy of a monster minion your opponent played, the strength lies in utterly jacking up your opponent's curve, especially in the late game. They won't want to play a valuable minion and give you a copy, so it forces them to use resources to remove this guy, use resources on playing a low value minion, if they even have one in hand, or deal with an over-statted minion on turn 4. I see this as more of a stalling/disruption mechanic than a stealing mechanic.
The designers are all about creating scenarios that lead to interesting choices. Not only will you have to make some interesting choices about when/how to play this, but it forces your opponent to make some interesting ones to react to it as well. I'm not saying it is strong, weak, will see play or won't, I am saying it is an interesting design.

YourPrivateNightmare posted a message on Hall Of Fame - Who is NEXT?Posted in: General DiscussionIf they keep Hall of Faming cards we'll end up with no classic cards left. I'd rather they nerf cards instead.
Although I could see them eventually taking on Malygos, since that card has always been problematic for spell design
Velen and Kirin Tor were pretty much unplayable until proper support came along

Yeah I'm a bit sad about the pricing too. I don't really buy video games but I could justify the purchase if it was more along the pricing line of an average AAA game. But packs are just so expensive :c

Idk, I don't think that many people coordinate their card backs to their deck. I just pick a card back I like/feel like having that day/week/season and roll with it for a while. I imagine a lot of people do the same. Definitely wouldn't consider it a reliable mulligan guide. XD Although I do pay attention sometimes because sometimes (not always) the card back can be an indication of the player's possible skill, or at the very least experience. Obviously legend card back is hard to get, while the plain card back is likely to be a fairly new player. If you know roughly when a card back was released you can estimate how long the opponent has been playing. But is this really useful info? Probably not very.

I played a few games with this deck, and I gotta say, it's a pretty fun one. The combination of murloc and elemental synergies gives you a lot of flexibility. I'm not very high rank right now but I'll report back after playing with it a bit on ladder to see how it fares over a longer stretch.

Thanks! I think I'll craft the first two you mentioned and then probably flip a coin between Edwin and Tirion (or maybe try deathrattle priest.... O_o) but either way, thank you for the advice. XD

I packed Lakkari Sacrifice, Sunkeeper Tarim and Ozruk. Lakkari Sacrifice has been pretty fun to play but not consistent enough, I don't play Paladin much so idk about Tarim, and Ozruk is easy to synergize with but ultimately easy to polymorph, silence, etc. So I'm a little disappointed BUT I have enough dust to craft 3 legendaries/quests.
I like decks that are fun to play, but winning is also fun so I considered crafting Patches(don't worry, the moment of insanity has passed... mostly) Also the Rouge quest or maybe Open the Waygate cause I like Mage, but I'm a relatively new mostly f2p player (only bought ungoro preorder with some spare change) so I'm missing a lot of the other cards like Archmage Antonidas, Edwin VanCleef, etc... I thought about the taunt warrior quest cause it seems pretty cool but I still lack a lot of epics that would probably make it a bit more viable, and Deathrattle priest seems fun, but I'm also missing N'Zoth. I also thought Spiritsinger Umbra would be good but I haven't seen her around much and I'm not sure what kind of deck she'd fit into that I actually have the cards for....
any advice guys? Am I better off crafting three solid legendaries from one deck type, or trying a little of everything and crafting a few key cards for more decks?
