I don't understand the Galakrond freeze effect? I can HP and then roll the rest of my turn and that minion stays there or something?

Previously if you wanted to keep 1 minion that you upgraded so that you could upgrade it again next turn then you would have to freeze the whole board. Now with the upgraded card frozen you'll get a new fresh board the next turn rather than having to freeze it all just for 1 minion.

One way to reduce the damage a bit would be to buff some builds that use cheaper minions. I think it's sort of good despite murlocs being so dominant they often don't use only high tier cards so they rarely high super hard. It would be good if some of the other late game builds also was dominated by lower tier cards more. Perhaps if demons was a bit more common in late game then they could be a bit similar since Wrath Weaver doesn't hit hard.

One problem in terms of damage is that Amaldagon slots into most late game decks so you have more tier 6 minions in builds. Fortunately it tends to give itself Taunt so that it gets killed easier.

Excellent with Prismatic Lens. If you hit this with Prismatic Lens then you are guaranteed to have a 10-cost spell in your hand.

The changed the card art on a bunch of card because they didn't feel the art fit with the style of the other cards and then they release this card that doesn't look like Hearthstone art at all to me.

Finally a replacement for dirty rat. Combo-decks will be less frequent on ladder just because this exists.

I've run Zihi in Secret Hunter along with Stitched Tracker to get multiples of him in hand. It gives you the option of stalling out games where your opponent otherwise would have gained an upper hand. It's not just against combo decks and Druids eventhough that is a major effect making those match ups more contestable. I've also used it to delay my opponent playing Bloodreaver Gul'dan by resetting mana twice and this allowed me to set up Zul'jin with more removal (double Crushing walls and Deadly Shot) which helped me clear the Gul'dan summoned demons. It also gave me time to fill my hand with good build-a-beasts which eventually gave me the win. Had my opponent been able to play Gul'dan earlier (it was already in thier hand from early on) then I would have been overrun.

Against combo it does win you games you would not have won otherwise. For example I played against an OTK paladin deck and they had already gotten Uther out by the time I got Zihi but once they had set up thier OTK they played Time Out and just waited for their next turn to win but I then played Zihi which meant they didn't have the mana to play the OTK since it needs at least 8 mana and in those 2 turns it bought me I could win.

The main question is whether the opportunity cost hampers you in other matchups enough that it affects your overall winrate.

Why not add more card draw? You're not even running Hemet to help you thin the deck. With only the hero power it will take forever for you too draw through the deck not to mention that you will be killing yourself by tapping that much. With this sort if build you are just playing a watered down Even lock deck that has an alternative way to finish the game once you are in fatigue. And with DK Gul'dan you are usually in a good spot in fatigue anyway. Wouldn't it make more sense to go more all in for the combo. I would keep the control aspects of Even Lock but drop more of the offensive stuff like Mountain Giants since you're not going to win that way anyway if you go for the combo.
