The low attack makes it pretty bad later, and on turn 3 it essentially has  4 overload, since there aren't many playable 1 mana cards that both fit in the same deck as this and would frequently be useful on turn 4. This thing needed to have at least one extra point of attack (3 attack lets it clear 2/3s like Arcanologist) or 1 less overload to be playable by itself, I think.

As is, I guess it's a reasonable taunt to combo with Ancestral Spirit in a similar way to Earth Elemental for a crusher-style shaman, and it being 3 mana upfront makes this possible 2 turns earlier. But outside of that I don't see it being constructed viable.

I apologise if i wasn't clear enough. I didn't mean that primordial drake would be better in this deck, just that it's better in most decks. Which it absolutely is, because it has taunt, a more defensive statline, and the dragon tribal is generally easier to make use of due to The Curator. The point is, for the general case, primordial drake has replaced Baron Geddon in the "neutral AoE minion" niche, which is why I forgot about him.

I agree in this deck Baron Geddon is better than primordial drake, but I don't think he's necessarily better than Flamestrike, Blazecaller, or Volcanic Potion, which all compete with him to some extent.

    Edit: Rephrasing.

I disagree on auto-include, as there are quite a few other options for 7 mana cards and/or AoE in mage which are, imo, better by themselves. The LIch+Geddon synergy can only happen on turn 9 at the very earliest (with coin), and at least turn 10 in most games.

That said, it's certainly not a bad option, and I must admit I did forget about him, having lately used Primordial Drake instead for any deck that might have considered him before.

You can use it to delay expensive board clears too (like Flamestrike), by a turn if they can remove it with single target removal, and by two turns otherwise. That should be game winning in a lot of situations if you're ahead.

Aggro won't be happy to trade with a card that gives your opponent life

But they would be if it was a vanilla 4/3, that's the point I'm making.

so they'll just let it be

Which would make it a 4/3 with stealth, that you can use to kill, for example, Frothing Berserker. And if they kill it to stop you doing that, then you gain 6 life. So I wouldn't dismiss this card so quickly.

Aggro decks are still playing the board control game at 3 mana, and would usually love to trade up into a 4/3 with their 3/2 or a smaller minion with a buff.

This card should often force them to make the choice of either giving you better trades than you would have otherwise, or giving you 6 life. That's certainly better than a vanilla 4/3; it's basically a 4/3 with stealth or gain 6 life depending on their choice.

I think in most games you will want to play one Sprint, or you run out of good plays to make. I run two to make sure that you draw  at least one by the time you need it, but you usually won't play two sprints in the same game. You could opt to run other card draw options if you prefer, such as Mimic Pod or Loot Hoarder, but I like being able to dig through the deck a lot with a single card to find key things like N'Zoth or Antique Healbot.

You could try replacing the Gang Up if you want to fit in Sylvanas Windrunner, since that is the card I'm least sure on. I don't know if Sylvanas would be my preferred replacement, though, since she doesn't have synergy with the quest. But she does have N'Zoth synergy while being a good standalone card for control decks, so definitely not a bad choice!

Unearthed Raptor naturally has some potential in this deck, since it's deathrattle based, but there aren't any cards I'm currently willing to cut for it. Jade Swarmer is basically just a worse haunted creeper unless you add raptors (going full jade would probably be bad since all the golems would be 5/5 forever), but at this point you'd need to find 3-4 cards to cut, which seems quite tricky!

posted a message on 10+ mana cards missing from decklist (deckbuilder)

I recently started building decks again due to the upcoming expansion, and this has been bugging me. Whenever I add a 10+mana card, it doesn't appear in the decklist while still in the deckbuilder, though it does appear in the mana curve and number of cards, minions, etc. In order to remove it, I have to search for it first, since I can't even right click where it *should* be in the list. The image should make the issue I'm having clear in case it wasn't already.

Maybe this is a bug with how Hearthpwn works on my version of Chrome?

Revenge can deal 3 damage against aggro decks, unlike Whirlwind or Ravaging Ghoul. I think the superior potential clear makes it a stronger choice in more controlling warrior decks like this one, whereas the other options are better in decks like Patron.

You can play acolyte with additional activators instead of Gnomish Inventors and Shield Blocks if you want to, I haven't really played the deck enough to say if that's better.

Fandral works on spells too, and in fact he's even better with them since you basically double the value you get (instead of some of the mana being used for stats). This deck contains both Nourish and Feral Rage which have great synergy with Fandral, particularly nourish which is a game winning follow-up on curve.

I disagree, this deck already has 3 important 4-drops and is looking for plays on turns 2 or 3. I'd play Acolyte of Pain or Museum Curator before Shifting Shade.
