it's not really random though, but it does seem like a fun card.

posted a message on TGT so far equates to power creep and lazy design

2 new mechanics with inspire and joust, blizzard pushing unpopular archetypes for the classes like Totem Shaman, Beast Druid and Taunt Warrior, hardly seems lazy to me.

posted a message on Arena Packs becoming Random?

I seem to be in the minority here but as a casual player who plays mostly arena and brawl, this is a great change for me as I would no longer need to purchase classic packs to get cards I still need from that set.

I think people have lost the reason behind brawl being added, it's not meant to be competitive yet these tryhards in here every week complaining continue to netdeck and when a fun RNG based brawl pops up shit hits the fan, go back to ladder if you don't wanna have fun.

There's nothing fun about wasting time on mindless RNG. It's retarded.
The requirement for pure skill and intellect are void in this bingo-game from Casino Blizzard.
So sad I wasted all this time collecting all cards and getting all heroes to golden. Why oh why.
I should have known better. Oh well, back to chess.

Using the random cards you get correctly requires skill, any noob can play netdecks. Adjusting play style to match the kind of deck you get also requires skill.

Anyway you can go back to ladder if you aren't having fun.

Ya but you have to admit this brawl doesn't have and real flavor. Aside from MAYBE getting double legendaries you might as well just play normal mode and have the deck helper just build you a deck. I'm not gonna rage about it like some people but it does seem like a rather lazy brawl. Easily the weakest one so far.

It's been requested for ages by people who wanted some sort of custom rules mode, to be able to queue random deck vs random deck or face friends with random decks only this makes it better as everyone has a level playing playing field because it doesn't just pull cards from your collection.

Weakest so far was the webspinner one, it's been done before and has way less variety than this week.

People hate RNG but loved summoner brawl?... yeah OK more like "QQ I can't netdeck"

I like this brawl because it's completely random decks, no netdecking BS or building an OP deck just RNG + skill to use the cards given to their full potential. People wanted this kind of mode since launch (maybe even pre-launch) where you could battle friends and randoms with random decks, I've seen streamers do it with the auto-complete in deckbuilder and I have done it myself but this is much better as you don't need the cards, you can have multiple legendaries, more than 2 of other cards (seen Trump get 4 corruptions) and you get to battle randoms.

Up until now everything had some semblance of skill associated with it at least. This week is all luck. If people weren't crying so hard for the past four brawls, Blizzard might actually realize this week IS the worst most phoned-in BS disaster they've thrown together for an otherwise refreshing casual mode.

really? no skill? it's about how you use what you are given, betting than just tryhards netdecking like a few of the previous brawls.

posted a message on What Tavern Brawl themes would you like to see?
    • Only 1 minion allowed on board for each player.
    • Only cards with no card text are allowed (War Golem, Force Tank Max and such).
    • Horde vs Alliance - make a deck with either Alliance or Horde art/characters on the card.
    • Goblins vs Gnomes - make a deck with either Goblin or Gnome art/characters on the card. (This could be done for any race vs race like Orcs vs Humans).
    • Battlecries have double the effect when possible.
    • Deathrattles have double the effect when possible.
    • Premade decks with only bad cards that no one uses (Silverback, Flying Machine,  Magma Rager, Core Hound, Wisp, Goldshire Footman and the likes).

Different board hazards would be cool too:

    • The board is lava - your minions take 1 damage at the start of your turn.
    • Standing in the fire - your hero takes 2 damage at the start of your turn.
    • Heigan dance party - your left-most minion takes 1 damage at the start of your turn and your right-most minion takes 1 damage at the end of your turn.

Vaelastrasz: me in love.  (It looks like many of the new Brawl cards are from your opponent's card sets in the Solo Adventures, yar?)

These are new unobtainable cards just for Tavern Brawl. This revelation makes me even more excited about the mode as we could get to play around with brand new card mechanics, it's also a good way for Blizzard to get some cards play-tested.
