Thanatos2k posted a message on Battlegrounds Season 4 - Minion Overhaul - Poison Change & More - Coming May 9th!Posted in: NewsPlease move battlegrounds into its own client as its own game. Then you can fix the engine, and let people actually run different modes of battlegrounds instead of the one you're forcing on everyone this month.

Astalor will likely still be playable and if not, you just got 2 legendaries of your choice.

At first I thought this was your disenchant list. I'd recommend you don't craft this stuff unless you have some weird meme you want to accomplish. Grumble is a good one if you want to play shudderwock or, borderline playable, elementals.
Decent neutrals to craft, that see alot of play, might be Baku the Mooneater, Genn Greymane, Loatheb, C'Thun, the Shattered, Kazakus, Theotar, the Mad Duke, and maybe Kazakusan, Blademaster Samuro. Yogg-Saron, Hope's End for the memes, Malygos is played in some OTK decks.

I'd prefer if the card didn't need to exist.

Big priest is for people that are not good at the game, and want a deck that is super easy and super strong at the same time.
A 5 year old could get legend with big priest. Decks that are so easy to play and require no intellect whatsoever should not be this strong.
It doesn't even require basic math skills unlike aggro decks.

Illuminate is a 3 mana tempo gain with a discover attached, how more broken does it need to be? If we're talking about cards in a vacuum I don't think you can get much stronger in power level. It will have full effect with any spell costing 3 or more, in any deck, in any class.
Vile Library is just an annoying card in annoying deck archetype that will hopefully disappear as soon as possible. It's strong because we're not in a token / buff meta. If it was played in the days of odd paladin when everybody had 1 damage mass removal and silence it would be worthless.
Imagine how strong any secret card could have been when mysterious challenger aka doctor six was popular and everyone was running secret tech.
Palm Reading is also repaying itself for a free discover allowing for earlier combos. Many deck archetypes in many classes could benefit from it. It's a very powerful card also run in spell OTK priest (way faster than my OTK quest shaman) and Inner Fire OTK priest.
If you play standard where those cards don't have such a strong effect, it might be a matter of perception. I've played only wild for a few years now.

Big rogue is dead with the Kobold upped to 5 mana. Big shaman is also kind of dead with the Bloom nerf to refresh the mana crystals. The real issue is Illuminate, not Neptulon. That's what allows to play a 6 mana card on turn 3.

Wild is by definition way more polarized than standard. Everything is more powerful, faster, and way more unfair.
That is not the place you want to be to play a balanced game, although there is still kind of a rock/paper/scissor, nothing beats a perfect draw in wild. NOTHING.
Once you figure out what people is playing at your rank, choose a deck for it. If they play Renathal, play some OTK. If they play aggro, play any anti-aggro deck you're good at.
If your own decks aren't strong enough yet, just use other people's lists. Not necessarily scumbag lists, there are many nice lists around. I haven't fully figured out how to fully invent a legend list yet, but I can change someone else's list so that I can get legend with it for the way I play.
Maybe start with that. Or try standard. Or go biking, or running, if you can. Both are much better than Hearthstone.

I have no idea how good Neptulon is in standard because I don't play standard.
But in wild it's completely broken. Perhaps the solution is to ban it from the wild format altogether like they did with other cards.
Like Blizz likes to say now, "it's not about the power level, it's about how the card feels", or something like that.
Rogue just made it alot worse.

At least in wild, I feel that pirate rogue is on the weaker side of things. I could build a deck with almost any class that easily beats all meta aggro decks.
Warlock example, I never lose to pirates with this and it can go into the late game (@diamond 3):
The issue are the otk/exodia/priest decks that I will lose to if I do. So mine rogue and other 5 turn otks / highroll decks are what should be (but won't be) addressed. That's the nature of wild.
You can beat aggro, but then you match a mage that takes 10 turns in a row, or a druid with turn 4 twig into guff into orb. What can you do.
I feel like the mech decks (mage/paladin) are the most well matched all around. They have the potential to highroll a fast kill while still being very reliable in the way they draw.

I used to have alot of fun on dungeon run and monster hunt content, but i don't like this one. Card choices are often very awful and often the ai decks start snowballing and there is no way to stop them with your cards.
I don't care if they are free or not, i don't find this adventure fun, the same way i didn't like the very old "get this exact mulligan" heroic modes.

It's a murloc riding a frog. What did you expect if not complete epicness?
