Before posting a thread about nerfing a card or send it to wild which a lot of people think wild is a trash for OP combos, try to counter that combo and try to learn how to play around it, for example,
3/14 minion, we can say it's hard to kill it but at least trade and reduce his HP, to 7 or less that's how i destroy Inner Fire combo, i dont have to kill the minion, just reduce its HP, their cards become useless afterwards
If you own the regular version, but are thinking about creating the golden versions (because you are a collector or fancy golden cards); please see below the opportunity cost. Calculations are per individual copy of the card, so multiply by the desired amount of copies to get final dust value.
Note: Essentially it's possible to craft the golden cards without loss, because you can DE them at a later stage if you'll need the dust again. If you know you'll need the dust, it's not worth the effort, as there is no dust gain except for the golden commons (10 dust each).
Ice Block / Molten Giant Don't do anything = +400 Craft Golden = -1600 + 1600 = 0 (i.e. crafting golden opportunity cost = 400. Which equals the DE value = good deal) Craft Golden, dust regular = -1600 + 1600 + 100 = +100 (i.e. replacing regular for golden opportunity cost = 300) Craft Golden, Dust golden = -1600 + 1600 + 400 = +400 (i.e. Same result as doing nothing, so don't bother if you are doing it just for the dust)
If u already have the regular ones, you just don't have to do anything to make profit, you will gain 1800 dust anyway from 2 regular Ice Block, 2 regular Molten Giant, and 2 regular Coldlight Oracle.
i dont have the normal copies, so this plan wont work for me
We will get the full dust value when the rotation hits for the best 2 copies in our collection, so should i craft golden cards ? yes.
Why ? The amount of dust needed to craft golden epics ( Molten Giant - Ice Block ) 2 copies for both is 6400 dust, when the rotation hits you will receive your 6400 dust, so you got those juicy golden cards for FREE, after that disenchant them, x2 for both Ice Block and Molten Giant will give you 1600 dust.
Do the same trick with Coldlight Oracle and you will pay 8000 dust in total, you will get 1800 for disenchanting them = 9800.
you won 1800 free dust ( 1 legendary and 2 rare worth of dust )
Probably most of u thought of this trick but i'll say it for those who didnt.
i think we should think of the first 2 only the last one probably would be out of WOW universe, just like Kobolds and Catacombs and league of explorers and gadgetzan.
you will only earn the golden ones i believe ,they did it the previous year, when the rotation hits they will give you the full dust value without even disenchanting the new HoE cards, i crafted golden rag the previous year and they gave me my 3200 dust back, and i kept that golden rag if can craft the cards in golden, just do it they will refund you the value
I dont get why everybody is happy with Duskbreaker. Yes, its annoying to see to much aggro, but Duskbreaker is simply to much in one Card.
2 Dmg would be enough, basically even 1 dmg, but 3 dmg kills some "regular" non aggro 3-4 mana minions, too and give big advantage in games vs. decks that are not even that aggro.
The Card is broken.
broken.
And everybody saw it from the first announcement that this card will be a thing. But people like to win against aggro and Duskbreaker is Super-OP-Anti-Agrro-for-Idiots. Since most people prefer winning over balance they dont blame Duskbreaker.
broken
You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.
Maybe, English is not my first Language^^
But i'd say a broken card is no longer a card that is more powerful than other cards (what happens all the time), its so ridiculous Overpowered that it seems like a mistake, like something the developers forgot to fix before releasing the Expansion because its too strong to be true.
Some of the few things that makes you a good player is playing around cards, Duskbreaker is everywhere, so you can expect when your opponent will drop it and the same thing with AoEs
When you play aggro, you think the meta will guide you to legend easily, and when you see a card that can counter your aggro deck, you start to cry because you used to win on turn 4-5.

2- We dont know yet, usually they release a mix of expansion and adventures but this year was different they released 3 expansion, i think they will do it also this year but there is a chance of an adventure.
blizzard said they liked 3 expansions a year and as we all know blizzard only does things they like
1- Each Expansion stays for 2 Hearthstone years, For example, Old gods - Karazhan - Gadgetzan, These were Year of the Kraken Expansions/Adventures, and they stayed in Year of the mammoth ( Current year ), In April, the new year will hit and any expansion that stayed for 2 years of hearthstone will rotate to wild, Ungoro - KFT - KnC are Year of the mammoth expansions and the next year it will be their last on standard, and so go on.

wanna my advice ? wait until the expansion reveal, level up for Liadrin and go there to explore the new cards before they get released

I agree, a lot of choices seems repetitive.

You will be given the dust for the best 2 copies in your collection, in your case 1 golden ( 400 ) and 1 normal ( 100 ) = 500

Greetings everyone, we know that Molten Giant - Ice Block - Coldlight Oracle will rotate to wild.

The first one resembles a portal ( Emerald dream ).
The second one resembles a portal ( Ethereal portal ) .
The third expansion each year is out of WOW universe, but mostly it will be a portal.
im not a wow geek but can anyone say what the last portal resembles ? because the first 2 expansions on the picture shows a portal.
