No this is BS, go calculate your chances again. Solarian casts beneficial spells much more than bad spells, there is a reason she is an insta pick out of the discovery spell.
I play spell damage mage for a long time, Solarian Prime for 7 manas is a monster but for 9 is not that great, sometimes you draw cards but don't have more mana to play it, sometimes you reduce the cost of spells in your deck, tranform them or get a secret irrelevant but nothing helping the board, when happen is lose, you can't play a 9 manas minion no taunt and don't affect the board in any way and this happens more often you believe.

The problem is you see in the games when druid have a hand like this but what you don't see is the other 3 games druid can't do anything until is not relevant anymore.

Secret mage and hunters teching the secret giving 4 damage counters this deck pretty hard, priest with dirty rat and cheap removal can have a chance, aggro you already mention.
Everything else can concede soon they see the opponent cicle cheap spells and don't playing secrets and secret sinergy.
Standard is unplayable til they nerf alex, theres no way you can handle a n00b paladin that keeps on hitting your face without a even needing to think their turns just because at turn 9 they have an 8/8 body pyroexplosion
Paladin has several problems, and none of them are Alex.
Alex only is scary in rogue can reduce the cost and play twice in the same turn, but rogue is almost dead with so insanely OP, out of the charts broken cards for paladin and many hunters out there with little to nothing neutral healing.

Shaman is not good but a least have a fighting chance now, before the set is completely garbage, so, have some changes.

The paper-rock-scissor factor is strong in this one and you can't do much about it.
It is a meta call deck, when you see a lot of warlocks and priests more than anything else is a good time to bring to the table.

Just fix this problem and every future problem with an universal rule:
Cost reduction effects can't reduce the cost below 1, only cards especifically made to cost 0 can be played for free.
End of all problems of this kind forever.
