Sorry, lost track of the thread after a busy stretch.
In the interest of being brief, I guess a good generalization is starting hand mulligan suggestions vs. classes with easy early removal of small minions (mage, rogue, druid with class abilities specifically).
I have been running with Nox's two Tempo decks that were recently posted, and have much better success. I don't think it's because it's a "better deck", but a better deck for my natural playstyle instincts. While it's great to get a deck style and stick with it, the meta is continually changing and I know I need to adjust better and not rely too much on netdecking.
Honestly, I just don't get what happened since last patch. I'd run iterations of the decks you guys are all using before and get to rank 8-6 in no time, and then have some issues with going about 50-50. Now, I am just STUCK in the 15 range since the patch, and just keep having problems getting a win streak going. Not much changed in the patch, but it just feels like the Meta has passed us rogues by.
Of course, I probably just suck lol. On that topic, with these mid range decks, what are the best starting hands to shoot for? I have a feeling that I'm keeping the wrong starters and just making bad plays early on that put me too far behind.
Re: Sylvanas Windrunner mirror. Had this the other day where I had just an Defender of Argus and Sylvanas (who just became a 6/6 with Taunt). Opponent had no minions, but then played a faceless Manipulator on Syl. Thankfully, I had a backstab and Eviscerate to kill my own Sylvanas, which then stole theirs back to my side.
Otherwise, I'd have either had to not attack at all giving them a chance to regain tempo, or attack with the lower minion first to kill it off, then have the two legendaries kill each other for essentially a board clear.
oops... long day at the office, wasn't thinking clearly on Windfury. This deck is definitely barely a class specific deck, so it's actually pretty easy to see if the minion makeup could work for a different class or not.
As a Shaman, wouldn't you want to have Bloodlust in there somewhere? Even 3 weenies getting through for damage is really good, and you can always do a 0 cost Windfury to double a damage burst from a bigger guy if needed.

Tips on this deck against the super annoying Hunter Secrets deck that is the bane of my existence rank 8?
