I feel the perception here (which may not be entirely off, though I have my doubts) is Rogue is being sent back to the Stone Age while everyone else gets their own jetpack and rocket launcher, most notably Priest with Raza the Chained and Dragonfire Potion being the most talked about Priest cards.
However, the problem Priest had over the past year(?) was it had absolutely zero competitive decks. Dragon Priest was probably its best deck, and it was something like Tier 3? Even Resurrect Priest only saw a brief spot in the limelight before Midrange Shaman slapped it back down to irrelevancy.
However, all this time, Rogue has ALWAYS had Miracle decks to play. Even during the pre-standard, post-BRM period when Miracle Rogue was nerfed into the ground (by nerfing neutral cards, I might add) it still had Tinker's Sharpsword Oil with the old Blade Flurry (for those who don't know, it was 2 mana and dealt damage to face as well). For awhile this was a Tier 1 deck, really no less than Tier 2.
Now, fastforward to standard, and Miracle Rogue is back as a Tier 2 deck, with notable partner in Malygos Rogue (which is also Tier 2). It is certainly competitive (a deck which Firebat himself is quite fond of). Now if the complaints are simply wishing for something other than Miracle to play, I can see that, and there have certainly been those complaints. I do not, however, agree with those who say Rogue will be unviable, hot garbage. Malygos and Miracle Rogue are going nowhere. Maybe they don't get much better, but they're not getting any worse either.
Which is why I consider Rogue closer to pre-standard Druid. They are viable, competitive (maybe not Tier 1 like Druid was), but the main problem Blizz had with them was the fact so many of Druid's Classic cards were such good, much staple (wow). So I expect Rogue will get similar treatment in the coming adventures, expansions.
Don't give up on this card, I'd say. Sure, it's easy to kill, but that's nothing new for ragers. Compare it to jungle panther. Only difference is one HP for 1 ATK, and no beast tag, which rogue didn't use anyway. And if the enemy uses an AoE, it'll probably kill one just as easily as the other. So you could make the argument that this is a step up from jungle panther. Add to that the stealth synergy we've been seeing for Rogue, and maybe, just maybe, we have a good card. I'm not going to say Rogue didn't get the short end of the stick this expansion, but they aren't necessarily a dead class yet.
As for the total lack of weapons. Well, that just seems wrong, especially since that's part of Rogue's whole thing. If I had to guess, I'd say it's coming. They're probably just sitting there, laughing at the rage, waiting to show us something. At least, they'd better be, or the rage won't end.
I suppose Johnny. I have no problem with net-deckers, but half the point of card games for me is the deckbuilding proccess and making a unique deck. Even when building seemingly "standard" decks, I always try to put a Shyamalan in it.
This goes for Magic the Gathering & Hearthstone (more of an MtG player myself)
Something else I've considered is, Reno Jackson decks had little else to build around other than Reno himself. I know that sounds incredibly obvious, but consider, the only reason to build a highlander deck wasReno Jackson. He was the only payoff - a powerful effect for sure, but highly inconsistent, and sometimes not relevant depending on the matchup. It's a great hoser card for aggro or 2 turn combos (think Alexstrasza, then playing your own Reno Jackson. Highly infuriating for the opponent), but against a control deck, or even midrange value decks which don't care about early life totals, it's relatively useless and you will be punished against them.
With cards like Raza the Chained, Kazakus, and Inkmaster Solia, there's more payoff for the singleton sacrifice. The inconsistency may be stemmed (if only a little) by the incredibly high power rewards. And as more sets are released (as the game gets older) the more redundancy there may be for highlander decks to thrive in Wild (for instance, having Mistress of Mixtures as well as Zombie Chow :D)
We're all looking for a non cocky streamer who explains what they are doing and is funny. It's essentially the Holy Grail.
Krip is pretty good, I'm not a fan of Amaz overly and whilst Trump does a lot less arenas than I would like he is still my go to streamer for opinions and plays. I think it is because Trump is so serious all the time that when something does go wrong or he makes a mistake his reactions are priceless.
His "Trump reacts to things" vids on YouTube are freaking hilarious haha

My only recommendation is to not buy a lottery ticket.

I pre-ordered. It's 10:00 EST, and I can't open them :(
I always like getting a jumpstart into a set, so I have an idea of what I need to craft afterwards.

A Warlock highlander will be the first I try out:

If I may,

Who ever thought Jade Golems were slow? The hope was they weren't as fast as we thought they are. Turns out, our hopes are dashed.

This is not a card I would be putting in a highlander deck. Unless I jam Fearsome Doomguard or something.

Don't mean to be Lieutenant Asshole, but hasn't this been established for...years? (the ladder system)
I certainly get where you're coming from (and feel your pain) but this feels...late somehow lol
Aggro decks aren't just more efficient, they're also just better decks (usually).
