I've been experimenting with a deck similar to this, which has Hollow Hound as one of the only beasts and Jormunger. I'm surprised that decks similar to this one haven't popped up more recently, because I think it's really legit. You can control their board very early on with spells, do a decent amount of damage, and then if they drop taunts, use your Hound and Jormunger to finish the job. If you can get an Egg out vs aggro decks, it's game over because you just heal and kill their board.
Having 2 Fetch in there is a bit risky, since you have a decent chance of drawing a hound. Obviously, if you draw both hounds before you drop your eggs, you're kinda in trouble if you draw eggs. Because you have a weapon in the deck, why don't you play 1 Bargain Bin instead of Fetch, which will often draw your weapon (and then either spell or minion; which still has the chance of drawing hound). You could play Master's Call, to ensure that you don't draw the hound before your egg.
I think the deck could benefit from Camouflage Mount, since it's a great buff for the 2 mana hound. Maybe one of those in place of the other Fetch or Bestial Madness (though Bestial is good in this deck, with all the little snakes and hounds on the field). Gotta love when it gets windyfury.
Shaman kinda has a bunch of fun decks. This one actually isn't all that fun until the end. Playing spells and stalling in the beginning isn't super fun... but it has a big payoff :)
So, you've got a deck where you could theoretically play a 512/2048 minion with rush, lifesteal, and mega wind fury...
I'm sold. Though I do think it's probably a mistake not to run Muck Pools in a Cliff Dive deck, since most Cliff Dive decks want to transform the minion that comes out of Cliff Dive (though I know you want Therazane to die).
Edit: Man... second game I played I got Cookie from Colifero :P
Having a lot of fun games. Getting Rag on Cliff Dive kinda sucks though, since his end of turn affect doesn't always go off. Very strange. I took him out for the moment.
Also, knowing that they will likely take or transform your first Amalgam, you may want to hold a little back on buffing it too much. Just gotta make a judgement call at that time. You will probably not want to give the first Amalgam 2 x [card]Always a Bigger Jormungar[/card] or Absorbent Parasite.
In late game, you'll have enough mana to build the Amalgam back quickly. Keep in mind, just using Containment Unit will already give you a decent minion to play for 1 mana when you get it again. Also at that mana, you can bring back multiple copies with the Egg.
As for MC tech... a lot of decks that take your Amalgam won't often have 4+ minions to enable MC Tech... but it is certainly a tech card that can be included, if not to combat aggro decks that flood the board (could grab a Zilliax or something). I will consider that though. It could be used instead of Gnomelia, or maybe along with.
Okay... so I almost didn't believe that you got to legend using this deck, but I thought it looked interesting so I tried it out.
I went from diamond 3 to legend with this deck as well!!! I couldn't believe it. The first few games I was smiling from how much I was dominating the board. I love flametounge totem in general, so it's cool to see a deck that uses it so well (too bad Murloc Growfin is odd, because I love the interaction of placing the murloc next to the flametounge to get a 5/1).
The deck can struggle if the board gets wiped and you haven't gotten your draw cards, but I added back in one Ancestral Knowledge and another Cactus Cutter instead of the Cult Neophyte. I hadn't run out of cards too much since I did that. It also seemed odd to have only 2 Overload cards in the whole deck, so if you want to use Golganneth, the Thunderer to draw overload cards, he might not even draw anything. With at least one Knowledge, if you haven't drawn it but play Golganneth, you have the possibility to draw 5 cards in that one turn (since he will discount the Knowledge.
One thing that people need to remember is that Jam Session is affected by spell damage! I accidentally wiped most of my board because I had two spell power totems, lol. In many cases, if you have a choice of totems to transform with Backstage Bouncer, spell power is a good choice, unless you need spell power to wipe their board. Also, another suggestion I have is to not play Cactus Cutter until turn 4, so you can activate his ability if you play the spell.
It's crazy how much I crushed flood paladins, spell mage, and mining rogue with this deck. Hunters aren't a bad match up. I don't really know what is especially bad vs this deck, because I even beat warrior and priest after they wiped my board a couple times.
I think the list is fairly good, but there are certainly some other even cards to experiment with, like Amphibious Elixir, since it's another good option to use with Conductivity. By the way, your addition of Conductivity was a good one. It can have some sweet swing turns. I love using it with Trusty Companion for a possible 6/9 in stats + draw 3.
I know you didn't come up with the deck from scratch, but thanks for re-posting your version of it. I wonder if this will catch on. It's likely that it would become a little harder to play, if people get used to playing against it. While I was playing, a lot of people made big misplays. A demon hunter decided to hit my face with his 6/3 Naga, instead of trading with my totems... and I made him regret that.
Neat deck. I'm playing the version that someone posted, but credited you for the base of the deck. He uses Conductivity, which is pretty useful if you can pull it off on 3 minions.
Edit: Just reached legend with even shaman, with probably 4 cards changed from your deck.
There is a version of this deck with Funnel Cake, which I use pretty much every combo turn. It's a sick card in this deck. Probably better than Wild Growth.

Hey man, your deck archetype is getting popular now! :)

It's one of the reasons I have my own Yogg.

Those two cards are A MUST for Amalgam decks.

Finally, someone who is playing Bargain Bin. That's one of the MVPs in my deck, and not a lot of Amalgam decks have had it for some stupid reason.
FYI, hard running 2 Amalgams is a bad idea. You will want to put the second one in E.T.C. You want to pull out the buffed one guaranteed each time.
For fun, try out mine. It's all-in on Amalgam, but it's super consistent vs classes without ways to completely remove the Amalgam:

Oh man... well, you've got a funny story about your first time hitting legend. Congrats!!

You still playing this deck?

Have you still been playing this? If so, how's it going?
