Darn, I wrote a significantly longer explanation before I found yours - but I think I found a slightly different route. "It would be worthwhile to add to #2 that you specifically need to place the Elven Archer next to the Stormwind Knight and buff the two of those, both N'Zoths need to die to do enough damage to the buffed minions to maximize the damage from playing Healing Rain." Because I kept getting 1/1 and 2/2 N'Zoths from the original directions - you end up with 6 damage left to go.
