(am I seeing that picture right, did he sew his own eye onto the doll?)
I think the effect represents that by creating small copies of itself ( drawn minion in his actual effect) which is basically what he's doing in the art !
Compared to Blessing of kings you need to cast it on a Beast and it gives you +3+3 and not +4+4 .
You also need a beast in play , meaning having played another card. A reason paly can afford to play buffs easily is their Hero power .
So many ifs only to MAYBE be rewarded later . If one was to pull this off on the rush echo minion then it is the only scenario I can see it being good .
People have mentioned stonestusk board but come on. You won't include this in your deck .
Huffer is a great target, but you need to draw animal companion and then roll Huffer . Way too many ifs ...
What was going on when they designed this card? Seriously? There are so many restrictions
- The damage doesn't go face, so there's no worry about a cheap burn finisher. - It can't trade and activate because it can't attack - It doesn't taunt, so your opponent can ignore it and it's effect - It has the mana cost of a late-game minion - It has stats that are well below a minion of its mana cost. - It has to be combined with other cards to do anything - You have to actively kill it to do anything - The thing it's doing isn't really very impressive because it doesn't go face. - It is basically a zero tempo play with almost no upside. - It's legendary, so you can only play 1 of it.
Something has to be coming down the road that makes this card playable, right? Otherwise they're like, "hey, let's neuter this card that wasn't good to begin with."
I used to think Boogeymonster was one of the worst designed cards in the game. I think this takes the crown.
Actually it says random enemy so the damage can go face .
Best case scenario is you play it survive a turn and you can warpath 5 times to deal 15 to his face (this will NEVER happen).
Keep in mind the weakness of Miracle rogue is aggro .
This card can kill 2 minions on Turn 4 for 1 of your cards. This can be quite good after a call to arms to take out a wolf and juggler allowing you to get into the later turns . Sure it doesnt hit face but this card is there to get you to the late game .
Also, leaving an auctionneer on board leaves you in a position your opponent cant play minions otherwise the rogue might draw a lot .
This card definitely has it's place in a miracle deck.
I went back and check all of the spells that will be standard so far without knowing the spells they will get in Witchwood.
Honestly most of them are quite good . Not game breaking but quite good .
While unplayable when you have to dedicate a deck slot to those cards. Getting earth shocks and frost shock on addition to playing a minion can do a lot of work . Free freezes and silences .
Even windfury can catch an opponent off guard . The 0 mana heal a minion and give it taunt is nice too when it comes to your hand freely .
The more I look at each individual spell, the more playable I think the card is .
The question is , is there a deck that will allow you to get to this point in the game.
100% playable in control warrior IF control warrior is a thing .
Killing a minion and getting a leftover is valuable . With the remaining body you can win an upcoming Brawl. You can also trade with it alongside a weapon or a slam or trigger Execute .
Defile does not get through a board of Divine shield minions , this card for 4 mana would get through a paladin board after call to arms that brings 1/1 with divine shield .
Defile is still WAYYYYYY better in almost every single ways .

Cheap shot looking better now !

Could see this being played as a one of in control warlock.

Keep in mind you can use it on YOUR minions too .

Good for spell hunter . Can really help regain tempo with flanking strike and this on turn 5 for example.
Also great with weapon, attack a minion kill another with this plus you have mana left . I think it's really good. Downside, minion only !

Hard to say what was the perfect turn however the turn you cube'd the doomguard, I wonder if you thought about cubing the mistress ?
Dommguard would have lived through the defile, and you would have gotten more healing .
I am not saying at all is was the play but it is something worth considering that I have not seen anyone mention.

I think the play on the first image was to mistress defile .
You have a big hand , no need to tap more for now you have enough resources.
This play would have let opponent minions at 1 health setting up another defile .
It also makes it easier to go and simply put a lackey on board since the opponent would not have a lot of damage on board.
In this case since he would not have silenced the mistress the lackey would have gotten silence .
Knowing this I still think the play on the first image was to mistress defile.

People say this is bad . On average the cards your opponent is playing should be good .
Not only this reads your opponent's hand but chances are you can actually play it as a good card too . Not comparable to pure randomness like zerus

They don't need cards to have effect if your deck is odd/even .
If for example they plan on Odd druid to be a thing, they are most likely printing odd druid cards .
