posted a message on Best mage deck in this meta.

I'd say big spell for sure. I got Legend with this decklist 2 days ago going 47-26. Since the meta is indeed a bit slower I include for late game Lich king Sindragosa and Alanna. Been working out great .

One thing you can do is look up actual shudderwock decklist along with their winrates and  make and form an educated opinion yourself. Just sayin'

Why use a deck that has at least 70% when you can go for the deck with 80% ?

posted a message on Ladder-Fear is Actually Pwning Me Right Now!

It's ok to take a break for a few minutes after a loss but not after a win. Just like losses can make you go on tilt lots of wins can make you feel incredibly confident and will make you play better.

As for ladder anxiety, it goes away the more  you play at those higher ranks. To beat your fears, you need to confront them! Good luck on your climb!

posted a message on The classic set being forever in standard

They will have to rework the evergreen set someday. Otherwise certain classes will always be dependant on the sets they release for having good cards. Looking at you priest. They need to look to balance the classic set by giving more options to each class.

If we start looking at each sets that were released in the past and start giving each class good tools for different archetype in the classic set from those old sets and then create new set on top of that at the rate they do now, we might end up seeing a much more varied meta. Over time they could also move those cards they added to standard back to wild.

I think we could see much more diversity. As of now, we know which cards for which classses will ALWAYS be the basic of most decks, and that is boring.

Oh god, that went out of hand quickly...

@DiamondDM13, you're way to much self confident then, I'm not a noob at this game even if I did some pretty rough mistakes (being mad from previous games didn't help), and we are multiple people trying to tell you something without you willing to listen. I agree with you at a certain level, but I wont argue with you more about this thread, it is unproductive.

Thank you to everyone that made a constructive comment about this Thread, my gameplay, and the "Control Warlock Problem".

My primary mistake during my game was minions positionning I get it, but I think this hasn't had much of an impact on this particular game, correct me if I'm wrong (even if I'll be more careful during the upcoming games, thanks to your advice). Al'Akir could have been dropped earlier but with little hope it could win me the game.

There is no need to argue about the fact that Warlock was broken since Blizzard decided to nerf it, we just have to wait and see if this will be enough or not...

I agree that with proper positioning you would still not have won this game. However if the mistakes that were done in this particular game happen in other games, you are sometimes losing games you would not have lost and you never realized it. With proper plays you might steal a win here and there and most importantly NOT throw a won game. Maybe after this you wouldnt view certain decks to be as oppressive as you make them out to be. But now, let's all rejoice in the warlock nerfs :D

Control mind blast priest is favored against warlock, both cubelock and control warlock.

You also seem to misplay very often when it comes to positioning. You have a minion that boost attack and then when you summon a minion from hand you put it to the right. If you summon only one minion it needs to go left because your hero power will summon to the right. That's like the very basic of playing a shaman deck. If you can't even use flametongue totem correctly you can't really complain that you lose games.

when you figure out the game's algorithm you will understand that the cards in both decks are lined up so one player auto looses

but this is where "reads of your opponent's hand" , playing cards "off curve" and the overall skill of the players come in.

ever played a game no matter what card you play the opponent have the answers?

if you already knew he had the answers you would try to throw him off his best situation

ever wonder why your win condition will always be at the bottom half of your deck?

I could go into details of 3 different warlock decks I tested, and what position in the deck more often the "Blood Reaver Guldan"

and other key cards were in each match up. but it will be too much

in closing once you get a grasp off the game's algorithm you will understand your crushing losses and your crushing victorys

and why when you queue "X" deck you play against "Y" deck even though you haven't been seeing "Y" deck all day.

posted a message on Thoughts on Dark Pact for 1 Mana?

Dark pact is definitely strong with cube + doomguard or voidlord but  I feel it is the most frustrating when you get to deal 15 dmg in a turn when using it with cube doomguard .

I think the best fix of all is to have doomguard gain charge with his battlecry.
