But standards could vary. Maybe you have a group of friends who only play casually. To them, even something like rank 12 might seem amazing. Also, maybe your group consists of top level players who consistently place top 100 legend, so even rank 1 might seem like a joke.
Just pick your poison, I guess.

Personally, I think it would be cool to be able to browse all of my opened packs, search for packs I vaguely remember ("where's that stupid pack I opened with 4 Murlocs and a Wisp?"), and mark some of the highlights/lowlights as public so that I can share them with people that don't really care.

Yes, the meta has settled down, we have our Tier (place a number) decks, and yet, every 2nd game I see a deck with interesting, diferent cards put in them, and its fun.
Other way to balance the classes isnt possible. And there will be allways be one (or two) worst class. Just look at Shaman, it was THE WORST class pre TGT, and everyone was asking for something to buff him. Then after TGT it bacome meh, after LoE, everyone was: "OMG, OMG! OP OP OP! PLS NERF!". Really guys?! C'mon!
next week at blizz: OOPS, we made him too powerfull, back to your original stats.
IF this happens, I can 100% say, there will be no more dust cost refunding when they change cards.

Good question. And here is my thought about it:
Sometimes that 1 extra damage really, really matters to clear the board, as someone already said, kicks shaman's plans to mud, as there are few minions that have 3 hp and that shamans runs. In this case it really is good.
Also I will argue whats better depending on the deck you are playing. If you are playing a more of tempo game with priest, examples are n'zoth or old dragon priest, keeping your minions healthy is important to have board control, and I must say that in this case, Holy nova does its job great. Gives you small damage output and healing your surviving minions.
TL;DR: If you are playing combo-burst or "classic" control priest, EE is way to go. If you are playing more of tempo game with minions doing the board control, holy nova is your best friend. You can run both, but hurting your own minions (or even killing them) if you play tempo version will only hurt yourself.

Problem with you guys who don't like any of your new cards (so far) is that you will not be satisfied ever. You have complained for nerfs and OP cards for some time and now when they have done something about it, when they have nullified the power level, you are not satisfied still.
I like the idea of the card, if I get him from packs I will use him for sure, or at least die trying.

Going with new plan this time around for me. Will continue to grind (couse, you know, x-pack not out yet), and will spend all, or at least a large portion of that gold on new packs. after that i will re-focus on Classic, and maybe will start playing arena again, not sure yet about that part yet :D
But you should buy some packs. Firstly, you can't say that opening packs isn't fun and exciting, because it is. Secondly, you will need some of those cards, and probably you will get a large amount of cards that will be used.
