posted a message on About competitive Hearthstone

Doesn't matter what they say this is a game based on luck and random factors. Reaching legend has nothing to do with skill. It's just time you need. Time to play thousands of games. And all you get for the hours of (maybe frustrating after some time) your life is a card-back.

Most of the games are decided based on your opponent's class, mulligans and first few draws. If my opponent gets the perfect start hand - what you can see in the first two to three turns, I just give up and play another round. I don't care about my rank anymore. Since it's just a random effect that makes you lose (huge win streaks, huge loss streaks) it has nothing to do with skill, so I m not angry if I lose, its just luck. But also I am not happy if I win, because I was just the lucky guy then.

posted a message on Anyone else feels sad wild is treated the way it is?

People have to finally realize one thing - wild was created only for one purpose... to distract players from the truth. When the rotation system was first introduced in HS, they couldn't just say: OK people, the cards you collected over the years, which you spent hundreds of dollars on, and which were meant to be yours forever, will soon be gone for good. Can you imagine the outrage after that? In addition, they would have to guarantee a full dust refund, which would be a huge waste of money for them. That's why a separate mode was added to the game, to give people the (false) feeling that they still own their collection... even though it actually isn't that useful anymore, stored in a dusty box somewhere in the garage.

They said many times already, that some cards couldn't be printed, because other cards were in play and their coexistence would be toxic for the game. And now, suddenly, all these cards coexist in the wild... You can try control it to some extent, but in the long run, some mechanics just work together too well and they always be broken. Sometimes the only solution is to nerf the card to the point where it becomes useless, but is that fair to those who own those cards and enjoy them?

The wild cannot be balanced and it will never happen.

Couldn't agree more. Rotation was the biggest scam that Blizz got away with, cause there are tons of Blizz fan boys who blindly defend Blizz like they own it.

posted a message on Honestly I don't understand why people play this game anymore.

No matter how hard Blizz try, this game is in dip shit. RnG was fun but to a certain degree, it is out of control now. Games are too polarized almost every game is decided by your opponent's class, mulligans and first few draws. Win more cards are everywhere. They keep printing too many fillers. 70-80% of the cards are unplayable for competitive level. As OP says net decks are too optimized so there is literally no chance to beat them with your own decks.

Everyone plays the same decks which I understand, everyone wants to win. Blizz can't do anything since game is designed as a casual mobile game. Skill in heartstone is the biggest joke. Of course you should know the basic (efficient trades, when to go face, play around few spells when you can etc.). In reality, your refined net decks and your luck win you the game.

Every game makes me feel like rolling a dice. Not fun anymore.
