FINALLY. I'm not so sure if that nerf to Blade Dance is enough but... Better than nothing.

The rest is flawless IMO.

Although I dislike the decks Jarla took, can't argue that his plays were flawless all games. I'm glad I chose him lol.

I don’t know if I’ll keep playing if they go through that path. Doing such thing would need to have a perfect balance team... And we know Hearthstone doesn’t have it, and due to the nature of the game not being so linear as other TCG, this is almost impossible to achieve. I find it stupid to go through that old path of accepting that they won’t change a single card for like two months. Is frustrating. And since this community in particular tends to be so toxic that they prefer to play the same deck like for 8 months in order to “win”... It’s a disgusting combo.

It didn't, I'm happy with rewards track. Resources are better than gold. The fact is people tend to be spooky with changes. It had to be improved though, and I'm happy it was (although they stated since moment zero that they were going to constantly adjust and be aware of what the community said since it's a big change)

I don't know dude, I've played A LOT in previous expansion, which I think it was one of the best they had. And seeing exactly the same decks in a new expansion... It's boring.

I don't tend to agree with the part of the community that always says X expansion sucks... But this one indeed sucks. Most of the cool mechanics they added are either broken and a deck creation limitation (I'm looking at you Tickatus), or they won't work due being too slow and punished by agro. It's actually unbelievable that they didn't realized how fucked up the meta is.

I just hope that they were so occupied with the rewards track incident and now are too close to the World Championship for applying a balance patch, which IMO it'd have been a pretty good decision since most of the decks are the same as past expansion, or boring agro decks. This will be the most boring world championship ever.

I'm now used to them being responsive in balance patches. If they go back to the old way of taking MONTHS for applying balance patches, I think I'll stop playing. And I've never said that before, and I tend to laugh to people saying that bullshit. But I mean, the game is so boring right now... Every attempt I had done of playing something different, I get crushed at turn 6 at most. And I just refuse to play those agro shitty decks or fatigue decks just for ranking up. This is a fucking game, it should be fun, not like a job.

I'm amazed they haven't released any balance patch. The meta haven't been so stale in a new expansion since like two years. Literally there isn't any new deck, just the old ones with like at max 4 or 5 new cards. No new archetypes. Agro is just overwhelming, almost no decks can't keep up with it.

I generally don't complain about these things, but this new expansion SUCKS. Many cool mechanics can't see place due to the same agro decks.

And didn't we got a free legendary this expansion? lol. Or you forgot about Silas Darkmoon? Where did they said that they won't be giving free legendaries every expansion?

So, let's do the math again then. I used to get around 6k per expansion, and, as you say, that should give me around 2 or 3 legendaries... Now I'm getting almost the same amount, and also 2 legendaries more. How is that wrong? Can you please tell me? Since I think 5 legendaries > 3 legendaries. Or did I got it wrong and 5 is less than 3?

I guess you didn't saw the latest Hearthstone Mathematics videos lol, since they made more about this system and explaining a lot more. They reached to the conclusion that I'm saying, although it isn't perfect and it does punishes gold grinders, it does benefits most of the playerbase.

I mean, he's a noob and a troll... But I also like the new system. It gives a lot more things to casual players and it punishes dumb agro players that only play for grinding gold... Grinders will complain, but I think it's toxic to the game having a bunch of dudes playing the same cheap efficient shitty decks just for getting more gold... Which they'll never use, since they'll keep playing the same decks over and over...

People here in fact is ignoring facts. It seems that they didn't saw Hearthstone Mathematic videos, which made the PROPER math, since most of those dumb reddit posts didn't counted the cards you get from the rewards. Getting 2 legendaries GUARANTEED is just insane. You'll also get a bunch of packs and a considerable amount of gold. Remember that 1 legendary = 40 packs (average)...

Is it perfect? It isn't. But you can build a much bigger and fair system from this one than the other dumb "play agro 9hs a day and grind a lot of gold per day" dumb system.

I like RNG brawls. What I don't like is when they go FULL RNG. Getting a random deck with rng effects is boring as fuck. This could be a hell of a lot more fun if they let you create the deck, since you could play around the whole brawl...

Well... for the time being, at least until the next expansion, DH is dead in Wild, and possibly also in Standard. Most classes get nerfed in some way, but Metamorphosis and Warglaives of Azzinoth are pretty terrible now. So much for iconic cards...

Be prepared to be wrong in a week.

That's probably why Blizzard decided to nerf their cards as well. I'm actually more afraid of Highlander Hunter now.

I am a new paying player (since August) that has decided to switch to f2p mostly because of this.  I have largely disengaged and mostly just play casual to kill time now.  The gains they see from this new tactic will likely offset my loss and I am fine with that.  I will find another hobby.

 

 The people who are disagreeing with you are the shills trying to keep you from the truth. Every new player goes through discovering the game is rigged if they play enough. 

 I did go through thinking that, then I kept playing, got into arena, and eventually got higher and higher and higher because my play quality increased. When you hit a plateau it always feels like "there's nothing more I can do to get better" until you make a fundamental breakthrough in the way you think about the game, then you get better and start climbing again. 

 I already make legend whenever I want. Understanding how the game engine works helps with that. The fundemental breakthrough I made was figuring out the game is rigged. 

  So you fundamentally think the game is rigged, and choose to spend the time it takes to get to legend. Feeling there's no skill or joy to winning, but you just do it regardless? To get more cards for the rigged game? Fun like cheating in Solitaire... Sounds like a fundamental disorder
