    I Really don’t think that’s viable. For octobot to work you would require to have some combo pieces in hand. That would imply having to keep sometimes Potion or Scabbs. Otherwise you would throw octo either for tempo on turn 2 (which is fine) or you would throw it later on turn 6 to 8 on average. And in that case you missed the whole point.

    My approach was to survive, draw and then do the combo. This deck and archetype will NEVER be meta. Not even tier 3 lol. Not so much to do about that lol.

    Yeah. Although these cards were broken though. But they missed the mark with the wind fury elemental (-1 less health) AT MOST. And don’t make me start with DH King Krush.

    Honestly, I think they went too far with Renew. It should heal 5. Discover is 1 mana or so so, healing 3 is 0.5 mana (since Flashlight exists)... They hit priest VERY hard. Every aspect of the class got destroyed. It won't be able to control and have those tempo swings, since it relied heavily on combos for it. They crushed the card generation aspect (which I think it's ok) AND also killed most of it's healing, which I find stupid, a priest should heal. And I don't even like priest!

    The other 2 nerfs are OK, but I think they missed the mark with Shaman (the mini A'lakir should have 4 health) and with DH's King Krush. For 1 less mana, it also trades and skips Freeze effects... How is that balanced? And even what makes it worse is that DH can also run N'Zoth, since it has a good menagerie package (opposite to Hunter). That thing should be a 10/10 for10 mana. It would only hit when you have a weapon (so it'll make trades with weapons a lot harder to do) or it would need to run a Tour Guide. That actually would be ok.

    I actually agree with you, they hit the 3 main aspects of priest:

    Control (since the combo potential just died), Healing and Card Generation.

    They should had left at least the healing part. A priest that can't heal has no sense at all. Renew should heal 5 instead of 3. And I actually don't like priest, but it's simple math. Discover effects tend to cost 1 mana and healing 5 costs 1. That would sum 2 mana. Right now the actual value from the card is 1.5 mana. It's stupid.

    Demon Hunter's King Krush should be 10 mana and increse it's stats to a 10/10 maybe for justifying the change. King Krush costs 9 mana, but it doesn't allows you to trade at the same time. And also, Hunter is a class that just can't play N'Zoth that reliably as Demon Hunter.

     Hearthstone players Largely flock to meta decks.  Popularity has a much bigger correlation to strength than fun.  This is ladder we’re talking about.

    And no, ladder is not always strictly “competitive”. If you’re at high legend or at a close point, I can understand it. Platinum or even diamond? Yeah I don’t think so…

    Sometimes I like to play competitive. But sometimes I prefer to play different and less performing decks. And I’ll do it on ladder, since Casual is mostly new players or people who REALLY don’t know their decks. 

    Answer my first question, and remember: YOUR gaming experience isn’t EVERYONE gaming experience. You play how you like.

    The answer is your MMR I think. You’re probably with a win rate similar to the one that deck has. And also it’s fun, even if it’s not fun for you… I believe the amount of players playing it talks by itself.

    Slow matchups, full muligan towards draw engines.

    Agro matchups, you need to have the perfect combination between draw and survivability. Mulligan for Backstab, Swindle, Cloak of ShadowsFoxy Fraud (remember you can dispose of one). And hope for drawing your pieces and survival tools quick enough lol.

    Here is an example of how it'd work buddy. You won't always need the 2xBackfire combo, just only on slow matchups. And lots of healing on that deck my dude. And it's still a WIP, since we haven't seen the whole set.

    AND, you probably won’t need the double backfire combo most of the times. Just one will be enough for a big burst of damage, since it’d be 15 damage (20 if you were already in fatigue). I call that a god damn finisher.

    You can use other tools for drawing. For example, Nightshade Matron and Safety Inspector. And you can expect tradeable removal for warlock. Tradeable cards are just bananas with this archetype for surviving long enough. 

    I really don’t expect it to be T1 though, but it won’t be garbage, remember what I’m saying haha. Warlock has enough lifesteal and draw to make this work.

    The current Neeru deck uses a lot of healing and also empties your deck quite easily. This could be done in a similar deck.
