I mean come on dude.. the guy makes a Hearthpwn account just to brag about reaching Legend.
What am I supposed to do ? Give him a pat on the back ?And you know what's funny ? He's probably never ever posting again.
Since when did sharing with other people about something you were proud with accomplishing turn into bragging? Not everyone shares about an experience really expecting to get something out doing so. Do you honestly never tell someone about something just for the fact that you felt good about and told someone simply because you felt happy?
You could just read it and move on. Nobody can make you comment about it.
How does not posting on the site again have anything to do with the topic of the thread?

Yeah because of a-holes like you who are so insecure about a card game that they feel the need to constantly be rude to others.

Well, he's probably in the same boat as many of us right now. We see the potential in this game, but the devs are holding it back. -

Gwyneth74 posted a message on WHICH WITCHWOOD DECK IS THE MOST SATISFYING TO BEAT?Posted in: General DiscussionI don't have a favorite deck to beat. However, I have opponents who are the most satisfying to beat. Emote spammers, ropers, those players that spam threaten emotes when you turn the tables - it is especially satisfying when they concede...and send me a friend request.

I really like this deck, have had a pretty good winrate once after struggling with it in the beginning. Anyone who is struggling with this deck I would highly suggest watching the vod from the twitch stream because it gives a good idea for almost every matchup what is important to keep and what is important to be mindful of in the form of counters. The guide helps with that but if you are more of a visual learner like I am the vod is the best thing to learn from.

For me, nothing is better than shutting down a Quest Rogue and Even Paladin.

Although it is not the quickest method, alot of free to play players or players who do not want to dump a significant amount of money into the game use daily quests for gold and use that gold to buy packs. Every day you get quests like "win 2 games with paladin or rogue, play 30 rogue cards, etc" if you complete these quests every day by playing casual (if you don't wanna play standard) with the starter decks you can get a pretty good collection of gold built up. Then you can open packs and if you have duplicates you will get dust or dust cards if you really need to.
1
Around when I first started playing the game I had the exact same mindset. "I will never play these classes, let me open packs and get lots of dust for those classes cards" and then so many OP decks came out for those classes that I really wanted to try and expand my knowledge of how to play those classes and I was stuck. It took me a long time to get a decent collection for the classes I thought I would never play (mage, paladin, rogue, druid) and even now a few years later I still am lacking alot more in those classes than my others. It's a mistake and I know how tantalizing all that dust is but you will be way better off keeping them in the long run.

Ben Brode said something along the lines that they have cube lock on their radar and are watching it closely to make sure it doesn't suffocate the meta. He said this in an interview on youtube by wired.

I am not sure if I am playing this deck wrong, but it is so hard for me to keep board control. Almost every opponent I have gone against has had answers to the giants, the elementals, etc. Even early on and once they continuously clear my board they start building their own board that I can't do anything about after a certain point. I have won with this deck, but it was typically against shaman who was playing slow. I am not sure how people are winning with this deck against midrange paladin, hand druid, or odd face hunter.

Blizzard doesn't really do many things half-ass or lazily, I just think people got their hopes up because they are expecting almost every new expansion to have all the op cards they are looking for from the last expansion. Witchwood cards might seem lackluster right now but it's a little preemptive to completely write this expansion off considering it has yet to be released. Once decks are made and people can really play with them it's too early to know.

Ben Brode did an interview on Wired on Youtube and confirmed that you will be able to earn old card backs but they are still trying to figure out just how they will allow it to happen. They don't want people who already had the card back to not feel as accomplished since now others can get it too but also not too unachievable that people won't give it a try. I am assuming that its gonna involve gold or real money.
