    Thanks for the deck!

One key-card is missing: Shuffle or copy the Shudderwock with e.g. Saronite Chain Gang

Saronite Chain Gang has just been murdered by Azerite Chain Gang

What is this extra warrior legendary? I don't see it in the main list. Is it generated by another card?

Shudderwock, my dear friend. It's time.

Nah This does not fit at all in a Shudderwock deck unless this Reno effect is all you care about. Not only it will also remove your Shudderwock and any copy of it from the board but it will also stop all other battlecries when it triggers. So suppose this battlecry goes off first that’s it you lose all the other effects. IMO Bru’kan will still be generally better.

I feel like you could make this argument prior to the release of any highlander card.

Highlander decks are horrible because it's usually a bland, low synergy pile with a few cards that just insta win the game. It's sort of just how it works. Yes, the rest of the highlander dh deck will suck, but when they play a 5 mana 4/6 that discards three cards from your hand you might find the game a little unplayable, depending on what your deck is. Or when your highlander hunter opponent plays their handbuffed 3 drop that kills your whole board and pushes face and is handbuffed.

It's a pretty miserable archetype but it's worked more often than it hasn't. Maybe they'll all be like Uldum highlander pally and just not really get there, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Couldn't agree more. I freaking hate the Reno mechanic. It needs to die. It is by far the worst mechanic they've added, but for some reason people like it. In almost every metagame the singleton 'restriction' is practically nothing. There are so many overtuned board clears in teh game that it doesnt matter that you cant run 2 of the 'best' one. You can just run the 2nd best board clear as well.

These decks will just be expensive 'good stuff' decks that have little entertainment value as a player and a lot of frustration from the receiving end of the board. It's really annoying when I try to play a game intelligently but since my opponent is a reno deck, there are now 2x as many removal cards I have to play around. These decks have always been extremely powerful. People even said "You wont be able to run Prince Renathal in a highlander deck, but tons of people still did and it wasn't even a big deal. People overestimate how little of a restriction it is to run 1 of each card if you're building a basic 'Good Stuff' deck (making a deck of my class' best 30 control cards, card draw, and class legendaries with little to no synergy.) And the more cards they add to the game next year will make that restriction even less. Hate this mechanic and hate the demon hunter legendary. It's almost as badly designed as Theotar, the Mad Duke. The only plus is that it's a class card and not neutral

Get out of here.  What a ridiculous rant. Please name one single tier 1 or even tier 2 highlander deck in wild.
If you fail to play your legendary these decks are worth nothing and more often than not even then you can lose miserably to any aggro or combo deck.

Ok I didn’t know one more legendary support was to be revealed. Because back in the days the full heal Reno was making the real difference together with Zephyrs

In my opinion all the classes that are getting highlander legendaries (for no duplicate in deck) are practically getting only one legendary in this expansion.
There is absolutely 0 support and 0 incentives for playing highlander decks, which are extremely disadvantaged with respect to normal decks.
These card slots are therefore totally wasted.

There is high chance that shaman will get legendary in miniset. So the theme could be that they excavated to deep and therezane showed up to stop them.

     Why in miniset?

    Quote from EvilAce >>

Best way to counter them  is to tech Ashen Elemental. But you need to get them low enough to get killed by the 2 damage they take next turn or at least slow them down to not go infinite.

That doesn't work really. It's not like miracle rogue that draws tons of cards. They just discover a lot of spells. And when they get the extra turn the damage effect is anyway over

I would like to talk to a Blizzard developer and ask them what fun there is according to their sick mind in watching your opponent play a solo game. It is not even about losing. It is about the waste of time sitting there while someone is play their own game. I've got Twitch for that!!!!

Why don't they just nerf the freaking quest?????

Are you serious? QUEST DRUID IS UNTOUCHED. This is ridiculous.

Also they could have adjusted Yogg like costs one less every time you spend mana to cast a spell. Now it’s unplayable. It was a fun card. RIP

posted a message on Should quests be banned in wild?
    Quote from schoomper >>

I'd be more sympathetic to banning quests in wild if you had made this post a year ago. There have been past wild metas where quest/questlines dominated the meta (think odd hunter + pirate warrior), but right now the strongest quests (ignoring druid) are sitting around t2 at best. I think questline druid needs to be target nerfed (Yogg Saron), but the problems with that deck I think are unrelated to the questline (*COUGH* 0 mana Yogg).

Excluding questline druid, it seems like there's not really a lot to be frustrated with. Basically every strong quest has been target-nerfed by this point. Quest mage, questline warlock + warrior + hunter + shaman have ALL been nerfed. I do understand that quest decks are not always fun to play against, but I think they have a place in wild and don't need a ban.

You are minimizing the problem and probably because you’re a hard aggro player and you don’t care. Believe me warlock mage rogue druid quests prevent any other type of alternative control or tempo decks making the wild format what it is right now. Fast aggro fest and nothing more.
The nerfing will always be a temporary issue because with new cards coming out each season quest players will eventually find a way to break the game again.
