Let's start this custom showcase with a bang, we all want to see new classes in Hearthstone but understand that it would require a lot of work to make cards for those classes for all the different sets and have them be balanced. I was thinking of a few ways Blizzard could make this work and here are the 2 best options I see...

Option #1: Hero Class cards - A new take on hero cards, these would equip automatically at the start of each game replacing your chosen hero with the new hero that you have put into your deck and replace all class cards in your deck with ones from the class of the hero you equip at the start of the game. This allows for some deck building still with neutral cards and consideration going into how many cards you want from the new class, it could even replace the common, rare, epic and legendary class cards with the ones nearest to their mana cost from the new class of the same rarity, this would make for more strategic deck building with these cards as you can pick how many rares, epics and legendaries you want from that new class.

    Examples:

Option #2: A new Whizzbang type card - Pretty simple option here, have a new card like Whizzbang that gives you one of 3 decks for each new class, so for example you could have 3 pre-built Death Knight, Monk and Demon Hunter decks that you can be given at the start of each game to play with. This means no deck building around the new classes but does mean we still get to play with them while not needing to own legendary class cards ourselves and you would only need to get this 1 new legendary to play all the new classes instead of option #1 where you have to get the one you want by chance. This is also probably easier to balance than option #1 and Blizzard wouldn't new to create as many new cards.

Whatever the reason it looks like the devs are starting to work towards some kind of achievement system with the new mini-quests that unlock new hero powers after you do a certain task in the new solo content coming this week. I hope this is just the first step and next we can get achievements for the whole game and not just one single adventure has them.

Wow, I thought most people wanted a proper achievement system with mostly cosmetic rewards like card backs, hero skins, player titles etc. (maybe some card packs here and there), it would be the perfect time to add it to the game with new solo content. People love achievement hunting in games especially WoW and seeing as this is based on Warcraft/WoW, it just adds so much replay value to things especially when it comes to single player content like dungeon/rumble run there's a lot of achievements they could add.

Hope they have been hard at work working on a proper achievement system for Hearthstone to accompany the new solo content and also bring new life into standard/wild/arena with deck building achievements, collection achievements, game achievements, player achievements and misc achievements (stuff like using board interactables) etc.

I just want my sorry emote back so I can use it after I need to AFK or my opponent gets unlucky. Honestly you should be able to select a set of 6 emotes to use in game via an option just like how Rocket League let's you pick it's quick chat options.

In HotS Hearthstone has 13 heroes, non-HS Warcraft has 23, Starcraft has 15, Diablo has 13, Overwatch has 7, and there's 1 N/A. (All values documented herein at the time of writing. Obviously.) So Hearthstone isn't in *desperate* need of further inclusion.

Also, Hearthstone needs more representatives in WoW? Keepo

Hearthstone Original characters, meaning characters like Lyra, Rin, Reno, Elise, Kazakus, Don Hancho and Aya who appeared first in HS.

If you like these HS original female characters you should try and get them featured in other Blizzard games like WoW and Heroes of the Storm :) HS needs more representatives in those games in general.

It's a sausage fest of emo kids. If that's your thing, go for it.

There's plenty of attractive female characters too such as Lunafreya, Cindy, Aranea and Gentiana.

It's pretty good if you can look past the boy band look of the group, I've put over 300 hours into it and still haven't finished the main story, and haven't started any DLC either.

Seriously? 300 hours? My brother completed the entire game very quickly, what are you talking about?
Exploring everything, doing all the missions, getting all the loot, you know just playing the game instead of rushing to the end.
He didn't rush to the end, he completed all the missions, etc... well, at least, that is what he told me... I only watched him playing the game during the most "Imporant" parts.
There's a lot of content with dungeons, missions, fishing/cooking, hunts, endgame content like challenge dungeons and a puzzle dungeon and more. There's a chance he just completed the main story missions and some side missions.
I've collected pretty much every item and color for the car too which took a fair while on it's own.

He seems pretty decent in evolve shaman, you can run some crazed alchemists and moat lurkers in that to activate the chest and evolve transforms him into a 9 drop, deathseer transforms him into a 10 drop.

I don't think gold or packs should be given for it as it would force players who don't want to do the content to do it but I do think have some cosmetic rewards (such as Titles, hero trays, mana crystal themes, game board items and hero costumes etc,) as apart of a proper achievement system would add replay value and encourage more people to give it a try.
that I could certainly agree with.. but you still have to consider, that it is basically free to play standalone game. Its like a gift from Blizzard to players, only.. to players of a greedy game:)
I don't think it's greedy to want the mode to be more appealing and have more replay value, people want the mode to be a hit so we can have it show up in all expansions. Just having achievements that require you to beat the different bosses in harder ways adds a goal even if there's no cosmetic you can still brag about it so a mix of cosmetic rewards and no rewards would be fine even if the cosmetic rewards are just titles people can show those off to other players and basically say "look at how much of a bad ass I am for beating this boss an even harder way".

Its just funny.. people are given some cool mode to play completely free.. and they complain, that they won't get any reward for playing it.. :)

crazy. In my days, we had to buy a game (and it was actually pretty expensive) and still got no rewards playing it.. well except fun of course. But fun is not enough these days I guess :D
